This may be the best chorus of a rock song I've ever heard, the sing-songy style is insanely catchy and driving. I absolutely love it!

I really love Slipknot, I even got they "S" logo tattoo on my ankle, but I don't mix Slipknot to Stone Sour, they are NOT the same thing, even so Corey singing both of the bands. (sorry if my english sucks, hope you get it)

StoneSour fucking rocks.an man who can balance 2 bands and manage to keep them seperated is awesome. and like all bands there sound has to grow. Who cares if it's radio friendly the point is that they made it for the fans to enjoy and to rock out to it.

You do realize that Paul wasn't in Stone Sour, he died in May of 2010 and the album came out in September of 2010 which means almost all of the songs were probably already written, and that Audio Secrecy was a fantastic album.

I think one can hardly compare these bands. yes jim and corey are in both but the style is very very different. stone sour is like hard rock/ metalish and slipknot is....well it's slipknot..."slipknot made corey what he is today" ....I Doubt that. i think he had a far more important effect on the bands than the bands on him. I prefer Stone Sour but I would be stupid if i wouldnt like Slipknot , because lets be honest Slipknot is great....

trueeee. That's cuz those 2 albums are meant as one story. So this song is relatable to it cuz a mind goes to different places multiple times if that makes sense. It speculates, over thinks, etc. I mean, that's how I see it.
It's supposed to be a callback to it, showing his growth as a character from that song to this one.

It's a concept album, so volume 2 of the story will tie in with with the first part which is why there will be the same riffs to show the continuation of house of gold and bones.
Does anyone else think of The Walking Dead with this video? ha ha :P
the ending melody sounds the same as A Rumor of Skin from the first part of the concept album. that's awesome. the two are connected and it sounds epic. can't wait to playback them both

It is. It's a reprise of it for the end of this song because somehow, the 2 songs are connected. They just rewrote the lyrics for the chorus part of "A Rumour of Skin". They shifted it to a lower key too.

@Dom F It's a two-part concept album. This is track 10 of HoG&B part 2, it's supposed to pick up where track 10 of HoG&B part 1 left off, and so on with the rest of the tracks.

The funny part is that A Rumor Of Skin probably has the most re-introductions from Part 2. So many songs in Part 2 have some part or concept of A Rumor Of Skin. Such good albums!
