we are still waiting on when the official release of that Renner song, Fallen. i was not expecting to like 3 favorite songs for this season of overlord. The show runners for this season really did surprise everyone with that scene with Renner dancing and singing as we slowly transition back to aniz sitting on the now destroyed ruins of Re-Estize as the song fades out. Now isn't that just chilling.
There was a Sasuga Ainz moment from the LN that the ep hinted to that you didn’t bring up. When Renner brought up her surprise that Ainz played along with her play in the Throne Room, Albedo seemed displeased at this and Renner takes this as she’s lost favor from Albedo for causing Ainz to “lower himself”-even though originally Renner was planning to hide her true abilities as a mastermind somewhat, because Ainz did what he did, he drove her into an unfavorable position where she has to devote herself 100% to maintain her position and survival. She sees this as a masterful move from Ainz to push her into a corner and acknowledges this as part of his allknowingness and prowess.
This was a really important scene they left out 🙆🏽♂️🙆🏽♂️ Renner just saying She was surprised Ainz played that "silly role" makes it seem like she sees him as an idiot of some sort
@@PwApprentice6 to gain more advantage and favor from her superiors. With Ainz playing with her silly charade, it sends a message that Ainz already knows all her plans even the one where she's planning to hide her full abilities.
@@PwApprentice6 Just reread this part. It doesn't say her reason. Perhaps so that she has something in the bag just in case something goes wrong. "She had planned to only demonstrate a portion of her abilities and hide her true capabilities for now, but now that the Sorcerer King had personally come to cooperate with her, she had been forced into a corner." Also, found out a very interesting bit that makes the Disney number not so out of the blue: "She wanted to dance. She wanted to sing. The joy in her heart was overflowing."
I am damn sure they rotoscoped Renner to give it a Beauty and the Beast dance vibe. Honestly my favorite part of the finale and the only petty pieve I have is that I wanted 5 more minutes to flesh out everyone's thoughts on what had happened. This was seriously the best overlord season thus far and damn I want season 5 already.
considering the movie that is comming covering volume 12 and 13 there would only be 2 volume worth of source material left to use at the moment so it will likely be quite a while before the next season
Before Climb enters the throne room they tell him he's the last human in the castle, meaning Renner was no longer human at this point. Also it's pretty much confirmed you need to gather bad karma to use the Seed, it's why Renner told Climb that Ainz will be testing him. Ainz ain't gonna test him, Renner is the one who's going to tell Climb that Ainz has ordered him to do something bad like killing people, the 'test'. Climb is going to think that he proved his loyalty to Ainz and that's why 'Ainz' will turn him into a demon, like "he did" to Renner. In reality she needs Climb to accumulate bad karma to use the Seed on him. She even already apologized for the suffering the 'test' will cause lol
This reminds me of that one scene where Renner shows some support to orphans or whatnot and Climb praised her for caring about them... if I'm not mistaken, her face at the time weren't really happy about that praise, maybe because of what would soon happen. If that place is still intact, it wouldn't surprise me that Climb's "test" may involve them.
Maruyama was asked if climb and sebas would ever meet in nazarick, maruyama answered " Yes, if he would ever get chance to get out of his room. " Poor climb
sebas promised to return the favor to climb in season 2. when they were saying their farewells after the rescue of tsuare. so climb might get some freedom in the future.
It is more disturbing to hear nothing because that means all life has been removed. Extra note after making it to the end of the video, Honestly I’m happy with anything that you make that makes you happy. If you’re making it I’ll watch it and give it a chance. You’re a really good TH-camr.
That totally rocked when Renner started singing and dancing. It was like watching the evilest princess in the world, showing how happy she was that she won. It was, to me, a shot at Disney saying your not the big boys anymore. She got everything she wanted. I really wanted to see how they were going to do Renner in the tomb, and wow they did not disappoint.
Been looking forward to every Tuesday for Overlord, but your recaps were also highly anticipated after finishing the episodes. Thanks for the good content, excited to see the future of this channel!
Renner feeding the orphans was just something Climb said in the LN, so this info might've been skipped over by some readers. However, after I checked Volume 14 again, Renner thanks Albedo for the preparation of the poison and for Ainz of acting out that role just before the epilogue, just like how it was shown in the anime. I edited my comment from the previous video to include this. The reason for this is, however, not explicitly stated. So, this being one of the requirements for the race change was a theory people came up with, which is probably true. Fun Fact: Renner now worships Ainz as a Supreme Being, just like the NPCs, because of the "intelligence" and power he holds.
In fact, Maruyama clarifies in his blog the fate of the children of the orphanage, also admitting that it was not as obvious as he thought. I feel like it was a shame that Raeven's internal monologue was missing, in which we can see how bleak and desperate the current landscape is from the point of view of a human who fully understands that the world is at Ainz's mercy now.😣
I personally find your best strength as a content creator is how clearly passionate you are, especially in your overlord videos. I can feel your excitement whenever you talk about Overlord and I think it feels really great to watch someone filled with pure emotions explain things and not sounding like a matter-of-fact robot. So I hope that whatever you bring next after Overlord will be something that you are as passionate about. By the way, there is another anime "similar" to Overlord coming in soon called "Eminence in the shadows". I read the novels and I personally find it closest to Overlord with the whole MC being super OP, a sizable amount of 3rd party PoVs to emphasize the effect the MC and his underlings have on their surroundings, surrounded by strong capable underlings, somewhat anti-hero protag, role-playing MC, and the MC just bullshitting and lucking out all the problems. I would be happy if you decide to cover that next (and hopefully the anime won't disappoint). Anyway looking forward to your future content, good luck!
Always buy from the official sources, because it supports Maruyama, the creator of Overlord. Also, I'm pretty sure one of the reasons that might have affected Maruyama's decision of cutting Overlord to a light novel less was because of fan translations
The dancing and singing part was very powerful. The lyric and the melody gave me a really freaky feeling. Her movement and her facial expression remind me of the evil scarlet witch in the doctor strange movie. Last but not least, one of the key missing explanations of why Climb was important to Renner was missing. In the novel, Renner explained that in order to survive with all the monsters now, she needed to show her weakness to Alebdo. And she intended to let Alebdo to think that Climb was her biggest weakness and so Renner could let Alebdo think that she could control her. This twisted and intelligent way of thinking really was one of the most detail and multi dimensional to develop a character I have ever seen in all the light novels I read
There is a slight hint of this in the anime but the fact that Ainz himself participated in the act to fool Climb, puts Rener under tremendous pressure.
@@reaperandyel this part is particularly funny, coz in the novel Ainz did it bcoz he wanted to role play as a villian for fun. he even practiced the script for a very long time. this kinda humor are the best parts of the show
It was decently implied in the episode as well. Everyday the kids only eat the stew but on the last day of the Kingdom Renner tells the maids to eat their fill as well.
The only thing that is a REAL disappointment to me in this epilogue is that we dont see\ feel ANY of the destruction happening ,and i thought that was a really needed thing to happen so we could actually visualize the cruelty and the power of Nazarick and its entities. Not talking about scenes of people dying screaming, just maybe a long SILENT shot with Mare using her spells ,the screen shaking in a wide shot with the buildings falling down while the smoke rises. Then that final shot with Ainz sited in a throne made of ruble would be WAY MORE POWERFUL visually and meaningfully. Same with Philip , the dude stupidity , greed and lust costed the end of an entire country , listening to him scream off scene felt almost like a cop out. Overall was a great season ,i just hope we dont have to wait YEARS to watch the last season.
See I disagree, the fact that all we see if the destroyed city lets the imagination run wild. We know Mare was told to destroy the city, we know he used many spells that would be horrifying to witness, and we know how brutal he is. We can use our imaginations to fill in the gaps.
@@sidecharacter7165 there is no chance PDL kills Ainz in that Plan even if Azuth didn't mess up. More than half of the floor guardians were there. Hell Ainz alone unhinged is more than enough for PDL. Pandora's Actor had a lot of restrictions on top of the 80% cap he had for copying Momonga. He wasn't allowed to use certain spells and was restricted to simply poaching as much information as he could from PDL. @@jirojhasuo2ndgrandcompany745 yup. She finally free from her father's rotten kingdom and she and climb are in the safest place they can live. Nazarick itself.
I adore Overlord so much because it scratches the curious evil in my head about a world where a godly being just lays waste to nations for either self gain or amusement. I don't really want Ainz to have a real struggle because I never saw that as the point, it's about the world and getting attached to each character's conflict so you can watch Nazarick butcher them all. It's so deliciously evil and I love to watch it because it's like glimpsing into your own intrusive thoughts. Overlord is in my top 10 at this point, and for good reason. I watch it for the world, characters, and amusement, not for the perilous journey of a protagonist, and I love every second of it lmao. But hey, that's just my opinion.
We think of Ainz being so evil and destructive, and how could he do that when he was a human himself just a short time ago etc etc. But for someone who was completely addicted to a futuristic virtual reality game, it's not that unimaginable. The boundary between real life and 4x game is just too blurred for him. Just go play a Total War game now and you'll rack up a constant body count just as Ainz did. Now imagine instead of a primitive game on a computer monitor, you're a Total War king in a hyper-realistic interactive setting.
@@Mlai00 Also good to remember Ainz world outside the game was a p fucked up distopia, he was already used to the fact that the weak die and that he needed to look after himself and people who he cares over everything else. Combine that w the fact he lost all strong emotions due to his litch body and what u said, it would be weird if he didn't turn out the way he did.
@@Mlai00 Yeah, exactly. That's why I love the setting of Overlord so much. People yell about how Ainz is too evil and shouldn't get off scot-free, but they need to remember that Ainz lived in a hellish dystopia and the whole point of the anime is to see Ainz bulldoze everything like it's an abandoned theater building. Ainz is one of my favorite protagonists because he answers my question of super-powered creatures in weak worlds lmao.
@@Mlai00 Its worth noting that Ainz came from a society that was soulless and materialist in the extreme. Back home he was friendless, isolated, and hopeless. Ainz was already a monster before he came to the New World, he was just in his cocoon so to speak. Once he arrived in the New World and his emotions (and conscience) were suppressed, he "bloomed" into the monster inside that he always was. Overlord is basically a social commentary (whether the author meant it to be or not, tho I suspect he kinda did) on what sort of people a brutally and heartlessly materialistic society creates: Heartless monsters that cause unimaginable ruin and suffering when given enough power.
Watching this season alongside your videos has really enriched and enforced the concepts that the anime sometimes doesn't portray fully. Looking forward to whatever content you produce in the future!
It's a new dawn. It's a new day. It's a new life... For Rener. And she's feeling good. PS: The missing 10% from Rener's plan is "Philip", her original plan was to weaken the Kingdom with Civil War between the noble and royalty but Philip comes in and cause complete destruction by stealing Ainz's grocery.
In a few days the first episode of The Eminence in Shadow will air, I’ve read the LN and it gives a somewhat similar vibe to Overlord but in a different way. You could give the first volume a try and if you like it you can try and review the first episode and see how it goes. Now all we can do is wait for the movie of this amazing story.
This was a beautiful season. Everything from the themes to the characters to the plot to the connections and the perfect song by RENNER herself. I can’t wait for the new volumes. Thank you for being a good community and sharing thoughts on overlord. It’s a shame so many people dislike it because it focuses so heavily on world building rather than adventure & main characters only. I like details.
Suggestions: Overlord does show scenes out of order. This is mostly for comedic effect. We saw this in season 4 as well. It is very subtle but quite funny once you unravel it. Secondly I would explain each kingdom in more depth - like the Argland Council State which has 5 Dragon lords, and the Dragon Kingdom which has none. You can talk about the elvin king who forces women to have kids. You can talk about the City State Alliance with a Doppelganger as one of its rulers. A Doppelganger is just like Pandoras Actor. As for your discussion on Wild Magic, my understanding is as follows: 1) Only dragons can use wild magic (or dragon-kin or dragonoids). 2) One or two of the dragons wanted something powerful and used wild magic to bring it into the world. However what they got was from Yggrasil. 3) Yggrasil introduced a new system of magic that was tier based, and usable by a lot of people. 4) You have to name as many Dragons that you can, like Deep Darkness DL, Platinum DL, Brightness DL. It is rumoured that DDDL lives in a deep pit like what we saw in the Dwarven kingdom. 5) World items are immune to Wild Magic. 6) Some wild magic requires sacrifices which is counted by the number of souls.
Ah, so the dragons wanted more power and accidentally brought stuff and players from Yggdrasil? That could be explained as whatever is the source of Wild Magic just reaching across time and space to fulfill their request, finding the digital world of the Yggdrasil game, and plucking out and copying its data in order to create objects and individuals to fulfill the dragon's desire. That being the case, we can fairly conclude that the person we know as Ainz is actually just a magically-created clone. The real Suzuki Satoru passed away when his headset malfunctioned as a result of remaining connected to the VR game server when it shut down. However, at the moment of death, Wild Magic swooped in, copied Suzuki's brain patterns, took the settings of his character (Momonga), and created the individual we now know as Ainz Ooal Gown out of the resulting combination. This new "clone" would have all of the memories and personality traits of Suzuki (and would thus believe that it WAS Suzuki) when in fact it was a being created via spontaneous genesis by Wild Magic (exactly the same for all of the NPCs). The real Suzuki is one of countless who were likely buried and forgotten on his homeworld as the ever-increasing greed of the megacorporations in charge marched on, continuing to ravage the human race and the Earth in their endless pursuit of materialistic fulfillment. Meanwhile, halfway across the universe, or perhaps in another universe entirely, a magically-spawned mental clone of him is trapped in the horrible nightmare of being a post-human: having no divine spark, no good emotions, and no way to ever achieve true fulfillment. Its so grimdark in the big picture it could fit right into 40k.
Yea no one was expecting the Disney sing along. I was like wtf. But that last scene with ainz sitting on a throne of rubble with the kingdom's treasures hanging from it was perfectly done.
I like how during the Ainz vs Climb fight you can see in Climbs eye it's Ainz's orb thinking to himself that it's a weak spot like a video game boss. But man what a ride it's been I'm glad that I discovered your channel through overlord content and I'm excited to what you have in store in the future, I'll be sure to stick around.
OKAY let me ask you this question... WOULD YOU like a rushed anime season where its poorly done or would you like it to be close to a masterpiece because you gave the artists and the animation studio time to create it.
When Renner started singing, I was like "wtf, this better not last for more than a minute." I felt like they could've spent that time showing other things, but I enjoyed it in the end ngl.
The Ring actually gave 5 levels in Warrior, ignoring any level cap. Ainz considered using it to raise his own levels, but ended up concluding it would be more effective for Cocytus; bringing his level to 105 and due his entire build is around martial fighting. Ultimately decided that such a boost was neglectable at best and simply put it in storage.
I think another big "this is not your standard hero beats the bad guy" anime, was the point where Climb activates his ring and charges at Ainz. You get a brief flashback about how this ring will boost his abilities and we Ainz just grabbing his sword like it's nothing. I just love the giant middle finger to people who want a standard anime where the good guys win through the power of friendship and love. Also, love the breakdowns of each episode. Any chance you'll cover the spinoff of Ainz and Evlieye? Would be interesting to see a video made about that, since I haven't seen anyone talk about it. I do have the pdf of the entire story as well, if you don't have it already.
I joined your channel for the overlord content. I'm going to stick around to see what other shows you explain in the future. Maybe find some gems I missed.
Your videos have been my favorite to watch this season talking about Overlord. You actually know the material of Overlord which has been a massive boon to these videos. As a fellow reader, thank you!
Bittersweet final episode, fully agree with the scenes that caused chills but when Renner said that the price for her happiness was only one kingdom, that sealed it for me on how twisted she really was. Awesome video!
When Ainz declared that he wanted a paradise for everyone, I was honestly expecting the season to be not as good as the others thinking Ainz had gone soft or he's just not gonna be brutal from this point on. But the season has exceeded every thought I had and I love it.
This season was pure pay off for me. I remembered watching first season, saying dope then moving to whatever else. The second hand princess crazy and i was like "okay this could be really dope. Third season i fell in-love and this season just put it all together and still blew me away despite me getting spoiled a few times (spooky ass singing. poor clime ill pray you find cocytus and yall train so you dont lose your mind.......). ive watched all your break downs since the start and now i just wanna read them so imma go buy them all! thanks for the videos. Also i think you could do old LN that have good anime like KonoSuba or re zero! TL;DR Great season, great videos, imma buy the light novels, good luck!
I remember finding the original season 1 while sailing the high seas. The season was halfway through its run by that point and I was hooked from moment one. So nostalgic. I felt like I had discovered secret treasure nobody else knew about (and at that point nobody did). I watched every episode as it came out religiously and spent all week imagining what was going to happen next week. Been following it ever since. But I'd be lying if I said that I don't miss those days when I felt like the only one who knew about it's existence, and when the series felt like it had such incredible potential.
i feel like ainz might be worried around renner because she probably is the only person who could see through him, but at the same time she has nothing to gain from ratting him out, more than likely the npcs would try to kill her for talking bad about ainz but also she literally fulfilled her goal and has nothing more to gain from ainz besides his permission to let her exist in nazarick, which she probably wont have to do all that much besides just do more scheming, itd probably be more like a side job to her to get her jollies off, helping destroy kingdoms before she goes back to her boy toy. honestly i feel bad for climb, i know he wants to be with her but like she manipulated the ever living shit out of him and he fell for it hook line and sinker.
I’m totally with you on the “holy shit they’re evil” thing. I feel like I’ve had that revelation several times but it either just never sinks in or I forget it. Love your videos so much! Thanks for all these analyses, they are so thoughtful. Definitely gonna look thru your channel for recs on what else to watch to sooth the Overlord hangover.
The problem is the rest of the world is pretty evil too when you look at it. The stuff I hear about the Elves especially involving a particular Godkin. Slane Theocracy preach Human superiority. Re Estize Kingdom full of nobles working with the slave, drug and prostitution rings. Even Brain did turn himself around but worked with bandits that killed and forced themselves on people. There are plenty of good people too but so many terrible ones. Kind of a pick your poison. In a way some of the Sorcerer Kingdoms ideals aren't bad. Safety, equality, and plenty of food but it comes with that leash of obey everything we say. Too much grey in this show if you like your fantasy black and white. Personally I love it.
@@yamiq2996 The New World was a bad dream before Ainz came, now its going to be a nightmare. Sure Ainz aspires to high ideals and so forth, but then the atrocities he commits on the other side of it...makes you wonder if its all actually worth it.

Overlord is one of the few anime I still keep track to since I discovered my taste for Korean manhwa, but maybe I'll be able to find another one I like as well through your content.
Everything that transpired in that room with Climb and that song number was so creepy. Renner must've already been so dripping wet at that moment. She was so elated she just couldn't help but sing, when not long ago she killed a lot of children, her own dad, and ruined her country. I hope to hear from her and Climb again. 🥰
bro if you're covering more isekai you should definitely make videos about The Eminence in Shadow that comes out next season its kinda like a reverse overlord by which I mean the main character is op but decides to act like a mob character
It's so over-the-top but I love it. It just gives you this strong vibe of "yes I'm the the villain and I won. Who's gonna do something about it? Yep, no one". It's just basically a crystallization of how in Overlord, being evil pays, and it pays really well.
My man I've been watching all your videos, I'm super familiar with overlord but just the energy and how you tell the story is so entertaining. Really hope to see you branch out more and looking forward to see you grow
I don’t know, I know ainz is slowly becoming a antagonist, but I’m worried that another guild that rivals Ainz Oal Gown arrives and If they are like the 6 great gods that favor humanity, it’s going to be sad to see NPC’s like Albedo or Sebastian die. Nazarick isn’t the only powerful guild, there are 8-9 guilds above it back in the real world.
The Great Tomb of Nazarick is invaded by the largest alliance assembled on the game, but they are defeated and couldn´t pass beyond the Eight Floor. can t remeber the right numbers but someting around 2k level 100 players, defeted by Ainz and the NPCs. non of the oldworld guilds will mess with Nazerik again, if there are some guilds still in the Timeloop after the game was shot down. And Worldmagic or Wildmagic cant work in Nazerik, that damn tomb is since the Throne appeared a world Item or protected by it

Renner is the biggest yandere i have ever seen, even in animes dedicated to yanderes. she literally sold EVERYTHING she owned just to live for eternity with Climb. And she said she just merely only needed to sell off her kingdom, meaning if she had more she would've gave it away no hesitation, that is just mind blowing honestly. Pure dedication but also patience, she is top yandere in my book that's for sure. Showing how far she is willing to go to get what she wants. Can't wait to see the movie when it comes out and I bet season 5 will happen
When Ainz told Climb that if this was a story he could awaken something, I thought it was a fleeting hope that Ainz could find a new source of power from someone who is almost guarenteed to be on his side at that point. After all, Rener was already a demon from what the frost maidens told Climb, refering to him as "The last human in the castle".
im glad you mention that ainz is actually afraid of renner because i think the same, she isnt tie to ainz from the data from the npc. I think that why he had her been a zone guardian to make sure she would keep busy and actually not get involve with her to much other then reporting serious report that will probably be reported to the floor guardian that she is into. cant remember in which floor she was assign.

This was seriously the best overlord season thus far and damn I want season 5 already.
i thought they just mocapped the dance.
I don't think that's rotoscoped.
@@RoccoGuyBoiThing If it was, I want to know who did the movements
considering the movie that is comming covering volume 12 and 13 there would only be 2 volume worth of source material left to use at the moment so it will likely be quite a while before the next season
that singing scene was soo lit! I really love that animation at the end ! (I dont like yandere...but that was beautifully done)
She was already a demon when she swung his sword in the earlier episode.
@@OnlyGaruda dang bro you’re right I didn’t even think about that
i was one of the few people who noticed that
This reminds me of that one scene where Renner shows some support to orphans or whatnot and Climb praised her for caring about them... if I'm not mistaken, her face at the time weren't really happy about that praise, maybe because of what would soon happen. If that place is still intact, it wouldn't surprise me that Climb's "test" may involve them.
It's also mentioned Climb noticed Renner's endurance when they run from her room to the King's room.
I wanted to see Sebas and Climb taking in Nazarick. I wonder what Climb’s reaction would be when he realised Sebas was working for Ainz all along.
They even inserted the part where Mare was nearly panicked that Climb might decide to fight!
Imagine mare just dragging climb to the throne room apologising profusely then leaving to destroy the kingdom
@@some_shitposting_idiot3023 ....probably how it would have gone down as well....
Luckily, Climb can obey instructions!

I cannot wait for the official volume 15 & 16 to be available for purchase.
Sameeee I thought it was only available at china so far
the fan translations are out for volume 15 and 16
@@Lechuga2x were
Always buy from the official sources, because it supports Maruyama, the creator of Overlord. Also, I'm pretty sure one of the reasons that might have affected Maruyama's decision of cutting Overlord to a light novel less was because of fan translations
@@john.10347 ye I buy the novels too if i can take a photo to prove it I got all 14 novels so far
Thanka for this detail.
@@reaperandyel this part is particularly funny, coz in the novel Ainz did it bcoz he wanted to role play as a villian for fun. he even practiced the script for a very long time. this kinda humor are the best parts of the show
The poisoning of the children was HEAVILY implied in the novel.
It was decently implied in the episode as well. Everyday the kids only eat the stew but on the last day of the Kingdom Renner tells the maids to eat their fill as well.
@@Arby631 sweet dreams orphans and their caretakers
I mean we got a movie coming covering volumes 12 and 13 so we can’t wait for that. However the last season is a mystery.
See I disagree, the fact that all we see if the destroyed city lets the imagination run wild. We know Mare was told to destroy the city, we know he used many spells that would be horrifying to witness, and we know how brutal he is. We can use our imaginations to fill in the gaps.
Mare using HIS spells
@@phantomwraith1984 😅
I would've liked to see the kingdom's destruction while Renner was singing
I like how the show shifts to the perspective of the victims now and then to remind the viewers that Ainz and company are the bad guys.
Just remember it was almost worse. Ainz would have been killed by PDL if Azuth didn’t mess up in that port city.
PA also didn't have any world items at the time
A straight up surprise attack from PDL without Azuth messing up is simply not enough to kill Ainz even unguarded. You add the albedo and demiurge to that and it's basically impossible.

@@Mlai00 well techinally he not human anymore most of his humanity was replaced by his ingame character when he was transmitted into the world
@@Mlai00 Its worth noting that Ainz came from a society that was soulless and materialist in the extreme.
Ains is just mocking the "power of friendship" and i loved it
Yet the very thing that he want
Watching this season alongside your videos has really enriched and enforced the concepts that the anime sometimes doesn't portray fully.

It's a new dawn.
It's a new day.
It's a new life... For Rener.

I like details.
feels kinda weird to say it, but this finale really feels like the correct anticlimactic ending
As for your discussion on Wild Magic, my understanding is as follows:
1) Only dragons can use wild magic (or dragon-kin or dragonoids).
Fantastic suggestions king

I love your analysis and i hope your channel grow further and doing next mushokou tensei is great idea
We need a full version of Renner's song🎶
When Renner started singing, I was like "wtf, this better not last for more than a minute." I felt like they could've spent that time showing other things, but I enjoyed it in the end ngl.
The Ring actually gave 5 levels in Warrior, ignoring any level cap. Ainz considered using it to raise his own levels, but ended up concluding it would be more effective for Cocytus; bringing his level to 105 and due his entire build is around martial fighting. Ultimately decided that such a boost was neglectable at best and simply put it in storage.
bro your sincerity and what not is so refreshing, keep it up man
Yea that singing caught me off guard so much that I just started laughing. I can see where the budget went into.

The end of the vid was getting me sentimental. You're a great guy just keep up the good work. Love you bro 🙏
i feel like ainz might be worried around renner because she probably is the only person who could see through him, but at the same time she has nothing to gain from ratting him out, more than likely the npcs would try to kill her for talking bad about ainz but also she literally fulfilled her goal and has nothing more to gain from ainz besides his permission to let her exist in nazarick, which she probably wont have to do all that much besides just do more scheming, itd probably be more like a side job to her to get her jollies off, helping destroy kingdoms before she goes back to her boy toy. honestly i feel bad for climb, i know he wants to be with her but like she manipulated the ever living shit out of him and he fell for it hook line and sinker.

Everything that transpired in that room with Climb and that song number was so creepy. Renner must've already been so dripping wet at that moment. Not sure why so many people were freaking out about Renner singing. I was disappointed that most of the budget with to that scene.
It wasn't in the LN, but it fit the overlord mood perfectly.
It's so over-the-top but I love it. It just gives you this strong vibe of "yes I'm the the villain and I won. Who's gonna do something about it? Yep, no one". It's just basically a crystallization of how in Overlord, being evil pays, and it pays really well.
Naw. as an LN reader that was a fn treat

I mean that also can raise the question of how good the NPC and Ains PVP skills are when put to the ultimate test.

This channel is going places! Can’t wait to see what’s next!
I really enjoy your vids and breakdown man. And I think a lot more feels the same.
keep up the good work man, can't wait for your next video.
I won't lie - this season confused the heck out of me. Watching analysis videos like this will help fill in the blanks when I re-watch the season
You made great content so far, can't wait to see what you'll tackle next
thanks for everything , please continue your work about overlord with more details
Just keep covering stuff you like man. Congratulations on the success you're videos have been great!
That song gave me goosebumps. The secret to that was the key the song was being performed in and the change in key halfway through.
I came here because of Overlord but I like how you explain the animes, so I'll be looking forward to your next video
I love that singing part, it really fits the messed up sad ending of the Kingdom.
thanks for making these videos, I enjoyed watching them while at work
When Ainz told Climb that if this was a story he could awaken something, I thought it was a fleeting hope that Ainz could find a new source of power from someone who is almost guarenteed to be on his side at that point. After all, Rener was already a demon from what the frost maidens told Climb, refering to him as "The last human in the castle".
Keep up the in detail videos, imo you do the best in depth analysis on yt
im glad you mention that ainz is actually afraid of renner because i think the same, she isnt tie to ainz from the data from the npc. I think that why he had her been a zone guardian to make sure she would keep busy and actually not get involve with her to much other then reporting serious report that will probably be reported to the floor guardian that she is into. cant remember in which floor she was assign.
Thanks for the breakdown and answering questions I had about the anime.
started from the overlord videos, and will continue to watch more future anime reviews/breakdowns!
i'll miss the weekly breakdown. i hope you breakdown future volumes as well. subscribed
i don't mind to be spoiled at this point knowing season 5 will be like about 3-4 years from now
