Thrill Chaser To be fair, the GP vs Restraints on Ninja isn't accurate. I've had personal experience on Ninja, and the OTSRs take a while to lock, so we keep them up before they lock.
When I went literally 1 week ago X2 had average dispatches of 8 minutes with one train, and every coaster but Tatsu, FT and TC were running 1 train. It literally took me over an hour to get on X2 and the wait time from this point sign said 15 minutes
X2 is one of the most time consuming coasters to dispatch in park. Every dispatch crew is different though, that's why I don't like these videos, but the dispatch crews at Magic Mountain are generally pretty awesome.
You're lucky. It took me THREE hours to get on X2 and tatsu broke down like 5 times the day I went. I ended up missing ninja, riddler's revenge, and green lantern
Honey I worked Gatekeeper at Cedar Point we had to dispatch every train within 1 minute and 15 seconds or supervisors got pissed. Magic Mountain needs to step up
Maybe you could put 2/2 instead of just 2, so we can see if they are using all trains. For example: when we read 2 we could think they are doing well, but if you put 2/4 we know they are not using the full potential...
You have very high and unrealistic standards not supported with logic.. you're giving the two ride restraint checkers less than 60 seconds to check that every seat is buckled and locked in place correctly not considering the fact that they must wait for guests to get on the ride, leave their loose articles on the side, wait for the previous passengers to leave, etc... Magic Mountain actually has amazing dispatch times.
No, Cedar point doesn't have 30 second dispatches on any of their coasters, lmao, no park is capable of doing that, there's too many things that always go wrong.
Just a note: the riddler’s revenge is a stand up coaster and the operation times are almost entirely up to the riders and how they deal with the seats and restraints. Often times they leave the seat too high and the operators have to reset the car’s locking system, taking up more time.
I once had to wait half an hour to get on Goliath while I was next in line because some one threw up in one of the trains and had to wait for the flash pass people to go on the other train it was the worst
I actually love this park. But their operations are auful. Blackpool pleasure beach, towers, Thorpe and even lightwater valley have better operations. When I went to magic mountain it took ages to dispatch a train. Especially on Riddler's revenge
Christian Moss yesss I hated it And no I’m not lying but me and my friend were counting because we were bored and It took a MINUTE cuz the dispatcher was talking to the lady and another girl was stuck in the top cuz of the seat ( bouncy ) I’m going to Six flags and ima blog this time so watch my video please and I’m also gonna do the same thing
Tatsu and Twisted Colossus are definitely on the list but what else? After we ride those should we just play it by ear and see what rides have a short line?
Nathan Weaver Tiers of must-ride status: ABSOLUTELY MUST RIDE: Twisted Colossus, Tatsu, X2 MUST RIDE: Full Throttle, Riddler’s Revenge, Goliath, Scream! There are more good coasters, but I’ll stop there.
The operations on Superman are absolutely terrible for anybody that's wondering. Guest take forever to put there bags in the bins (much like for most of the rides at SFMM). But the thing that probably takes the longest is the fact that before the even open the doors to the boarding area for superman, every single rider from the last cycle has to not only be out of the car, they have to be out of the exit gate. Add that to the fact that it doesn't often run both sides, the ride has very slow employees, and it only fits 14 people per cycle, you end up waiting about 30 minutes for a station wait
Not really, it’s different every time. Half of the time is depending on the people getting onto the train...and also they switch staff a lot so it’s not the same...
Can you tell me which rides have bins/storage spaces? I’m going and I need to bring my phone and I didn’t know which has bins and I can’t buy lockers cuz it’s just me and my brother. No parent can hold anything
you are forgetting Viper, Gold Rusher and The New Revolution other than that, lets just do the ride operation times: Full Throttle: 1 minute 27 seconds (Pretty good!) X2: 1 minute 22 seconds (Nicely done!) Apocalypse: 1 minute 22 seconds (Not too shabby) Riddler's Revenge: 1 minute 59 seconds (Could be worse!) Batman the ride: 1 minute 37 seconds (Could use improvement) Scream: 1 minute 46 seconds (Could be faster) Goliath: 1 minute 26 seconds (Not bad!) Tatsu: 2 minutes 3 seconds (Could be better) Ninja: 1 minute 34 seconds (Not bad!) Twisted Colossus: 1 minute 27 seconds (Great job! (Now only if they did that well every time...))
@@justiceleaguebattleformetr9239 I know but Viper is closed without word or reason from Six Flags so maybe another time he will do Gold Rusher, Viper and Revolution
Magic mountain is my home park. Took a trip up north to discovery kindom this BM past weekend. Load times must of been at least twice as long as mm! But all good, the park was pretty dead anyway
Honestly I'm amazing at the dispatches for Riddler's Revenge, last time I rode a stand up (Apocalypse at SFA) i was waiting ~6 or 7 minutes in the restraints for the dispatch (edit. I will fully admit it's probably due to age of the ride) and if memory serves right most other stand ups with operations videos are minimum ~2-3 minutes most reaching into 5-6 area.
Overall, GREAT JOB on the DISPATCH TIMES, SIX FLAGS MAGIC MOUNTAIN!!!!😀😃🎢💙 Also, AWESOME VIDEO, COASTER STUDIOS!!!!!!!😃😄😍📹🎢❤💙💜 Reina Coleman. (22 years old, in Buckeye, Arizona, USA.🇺🇸)
my brother got hit in the balls with the apocalypse lap bar, my friend and i (in the seats behind them) were dying laughing, the guys waiting for the next train behind the gate were dying laughing, one of my best memories
Taylor, your videos are awesome! This is my favorite Six Flags Park, I live in Vegas so my home park is The Adventuredome and I work there also, but dang I will say puberty hit you hard lmfao! But great video man!!!
You can time Superman's operations. You can hear the coaster launch from the outside of the station. You would just time when the doors open to when you hear the launch.
I've been looking forward to this operations video! And I agree, this is better than I expected. I had heard quite a few bad things about SFMM's operations. I was expecting at least one ride in the Red/"Yikes..." range, probably more, but no! (Unless you count that unfilmed Twisted Colossus dispatch that Taylor mentions at the end).
Compare this to Disneyland California Adventure’s Incredicoaster, and it’s awfully slow. Trains enter the station one after another. I think it runs 5 trains on the track at a time with dueling stations.
2:22 ive only ridden Apocalypse like 5 time in total and sfmm is my home park Apocalypse is closed almost every time i go your lucky you got a ride on it
I was at magic mountain and at X2 they had the worst operations I’ve ever seen they were only running 1 train and it took them like between 2-4 minutes to dispatch each train

Adrenaline Overdrive that was you in the video?
That poor woman on Ninja not sure how coaster restraints work - has her moment of incomprehension immortalized by Taylor Bybee.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
2:21 That transition of “The scavengers are on their way, momentarily you will be boarding” to the comedic music was gold 😂
3:51 We got the flash loading people on Batman the ride
CrazyCrezno LOL. But that’s so true!
LMAO
Operations also depend on how fast the gp move along, because they r known for taking their sweet time
God damn so calers
What the heck is a gp?

BAHAHHA WTF DID I JUST WATCH
I accidentally stubbed my toe while trying to enter the train on riddler's revenge.
*Verdict: **_O U C H_*
I love how the operators go "tatsuuuuuuuuuuuu". It's so much fun when everyone else in the station joins along
3:09 Did Taylor notice that kid with the green coaster studios shirt 😂😂😂
Did that guy notice Taylor?
Omg yah. That's cool
1:13 the guy trying to staple himself lol

YES! I totally agree
I was at Magic Mountain today and when I rode Twisted colossus we were out of there in like 30 seconds and (kind of) got a duel! It was awesome!
3:51 that looked so satisfying…
Finally thanks coaster studios 😂😂😂
You got a ridiculously fast dispatch on Goliath! It usually takes over 1m50s because they have a 100s timer thats always at zero when it's dispatched.
1:31 Turn it up its your favorite song!!!

Yeah Riddler's Revenge is a joke and it hurts so bad.
Zentacular Sims I like Riddler's revenge. It's smooth!
Really? I'll have to try it again, maybe I got a bad ride like X2 gave me a migraine.
When I went to Magic Mountain, the ops we're pretty fast when the rides started stacking, so they slowly got good over the course i was at the park.

Just there today! It’s good to see my home park get this video! Thanks Taylor!
Hopefully you make one of these when you go to Europa Park 😁 People will be in shock😂 I have not seen Silver Star stack once! (Running 3 trains)
Besides X2 (probably won’t ride it cuz the line is always long), what are your top 3 MUST RIDES at SFMM?
Nathan Weaver twisted colossus, tatsu, and x2
Nathan Weaver X2 is an absolute must ride. Do it early. I'd also recommend Superman escape from Krypton, twisted Colossus and apocalypse
Tatsu and Twisted Colossus are definitely on the list but what else? After we ride those should we just play it by ear and see what rides have a short line?
Also we’re going on Labor Day so I know the lines will be SUPER LONG
Nathan Weaver Tiers of must-ride status:
ABSOLUTELY MUST RIDE: Twisted Colossus, Tatsu, X2
MUST RIDE: Full Throttle, Riddler’s Revenge, Goliath, Scream!
There are more good coasters, but I’ll stop there.
Gotta do this with Blue fire😁 Time: 40s, running 5 Trains😂
Kyrpi Coasters Or Alpina Bahn / Olympia Looping.
7:03 When I worked at Iron Dragon at CP that used to happen ALL THE TIME lol
This is by far the best operations video since the cedar point one. I loved it, 10/10 keep up the good work man.
The operations on Superman are absolutely terrible for anybody that's wondering. Guest take forever to put there bags in the bins (much like for most of the rides at SFMM). They hid their operations on purpose!!!!!
Never been there. Looks so amazing. I want to see some more parodies of these rides

GD IRozaRI he hasn't been there yet
good idea
GD IRozaRI when he goes on European trip
GD IRozaRI don't forget BPB
Europa Park is even better than Cedar Point
The best part about these videos isn’t even learning the operations, it’s the faces people make at the camera.
These operations actually help us coaster enthusiasts how long we have to wait in the station to board the coaster train
Not really, it’s different every time. Half of the time is depending on the people getting onto the train...and also they switch staff a lot so it’s not the same...
I like how you put the number of trains the ride is operating with! It’s neat
Hey Taylor, I will be visiting your home park this Summer. Can't wait for I305.

Not trying to be rude but do you ride the choster after getting the fotage
3:11 is that Logan from Koaster Kids?
Thx for making this, your doing good Taylor!
Do a SFOT dispatch. Would love to see my home park get a dispatch vid.
I was requesting that
what song is used at 2:26?
The thing about Riddlers is A. Its a stand up so they need to fit it to your body shape and size! B. 4 People Per Row in a pretty big train!
I was just impressed that they had 2 trains running on most of the rides
What's the name of the song at 2:25?
4:05 is that girl in the blue t-shirt from the Lightning Rod Parody?

Love this series good job Taylor
Can you tell me which rides have bins/storage spaces? I’m going and I need to bring my phone and I didn’t know which has bins and I can’t buy lockers cuz it’s just me and my brother. No parent can hold anything
All of them have bins or areas to put loose articles except X2, which has a locker in the station.
you are forgetting Viper, Gold Rusher and The New Revolution
other than that, lets just do the ride operation times:
Full Throttle: 1 minute 27 seconds (Pretty good!)
X2: 1 minute 22 seconds (Nicely done!)
Apocalypse: 1 minute 22 seconds (Not too shabby)
Riddler's Revenge: 1 minute 59 seconds (Could be worse!)

Tatsu: 2 minutes 3 seconds (Could be better)

Will you consider my ideas? You have two more months of summer after Europe.
