Bro, I love watching your content. After a long day of work it really is comforting watching a fellow honda head wrenching and showing his journey. Good job brother on Leo's swap. Hope he enjoys it. 👊 much love from Africa.
You nailed it and made it easy for those guys starting in the Honda game swapping. Now their going to need one video on how to go from this point to V-tec. One thing is listening or readying and the other actually seeing it being done with the right material and parts.
Hey man, just wanted to say thank you for posting videos sharing all the stuff you do. I bougth a 89 rusty CRX two years ago.. haven't almost touched it since then, now thanks to your videos I'm motivated again and i'm keeping up with the project. THanks again, greetings from Spain buddy. No mames!! :)
Love your channel bro been watching you sense day one. Have gone back and looked at your older videos hundreds of times to figure things out. Keep em coming man
Man in my book my man you are a legend I actually had to stop watching your videos so I could get a couple episodes behind so I can binge watch always interesting and informative keep it up
I remember when we had to mod the shift linkage to fit lol, there was no swap linkage been wrenching on EF's since 2000, love watching your content bro ✊🏽
As always coming in clutch. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Mark my words once these car become desirable. Your going to blow up 1 Million Club. #2025
Always enjoy the content, can't wait to see another exhaust fab upload when switching over to the other header & exhaust set up. You really are a good friend, always helping everyone out. EDIT: Dana, if I were to drive 11 hours to get to San Jose, would you be willing to meet up? I'd love to check out your collection in person & just shoot the shit w/ you & let you check out my ef's, heck I'd even be more than happy to help lend a hand w/ anything you were working on at the time.
I got a bunch of issues with innovative, i have a innovative shift linkage and its turned to the left a little toward driver, its b20b swap in ef with ls trans hydro
Yoo Dana I got u as a friend on fb and thanks again remember watching u as a kid till now and I’m gonna start vlogs once I get these bseries parts lols now that u made me understand it a little better
you can do valve lash in two steps on a 4cyl civic: 1) Rotate to TDC#1: 2) Adjust Intake+Exhaust on #1, Intake only on #2, and Exhaust only on #3. 3) Now rotate 180 to TDC #4 4) Adjust Intake+Exhaust on #4, Intake only on #3, and Exhaust only on #2. Super simple.
@youngstatic love your content! I have purchased a 91' civic SI that had a B18B1 installed with issues. I have a rebuilt B18A1 complete and am wanting to install it needing some guidance with wiring what's some suggestions? Thanks
Bro I love you videos, I just got a hatch I hauled home and noticed the computer was on the floor board I cant see the plug for it, I'm familiar with these. Could u help me with it? Itd be cool been holding a parts car for 15 years lol but give me a shout I can send you pictures some how
Hey man, wacthing this video for a refrence but I have a 1987 crx si and wanted to b series swap it but don’t know what to get because most items for swapping are 88-91 would be amazing if you could help me out and maybe give a link or website to buy engine mounts and etc. thank amazing video!
Hey man just curious where you took the cylinder head to get rebuilt/finish? Currently starting to rebuild my b series. Used to live in Antioch years back.
i am going to do a b20z to my ef si, i watched your video, i am wondering if you used the d series stock intake manifold there, and when you said use the 90-93 post mount, does it matter if the post is manual or auto
Im in Riverside,California and since you are in the same state maybe you can answer a question. I have 90 CRX and 94 B18B1. Do i have to run OBD1 to match the engine or can i use OBD0 and pass inspection? Thanks.
Yo Dana love the content brotha 👌 glad to see more uploads. Might be a long shot but I have a EF chasie question. I've always been a honda guy mostly with EG'S but you and your content had a huge influence on me picking up my 1st 91 wagon! And it has a bent front middle subframe. My ? Is will a EF hatch/4door or crx front middle subframe fit on the wagons as well? Thanks in advance brotha keep up the grind 💯
Don’t quote me on it, he lower may be the same. The top is chassis specific. But the radiator support is typically 1 piece unless you undo all the spot welds
@@YoungStatic ok coo coo. Looks like it took a curb shot and ware it bolts to the LCA it buckled the subframe mount on the front back subframe. Found one from a 91 crx. So I thought I would run it by you brotha. Thanks!
@@YoungStatic ya ya haha my bad ya the one at the fire wall. Just by picture they look very close. I'll probably just go for it thanks for the info and Reassurance my dude! really dope chatting with you! stay safe out there brotha 🙏
What transmission is that I have a sk7j half shaft gonna do a swap in my ef have a b18b1 with cable lsv transmission I’m wondering if that half shaft will work on my ef hatch
Coming to the comment section cuz I need help can’t find a solution my driver side engine mount in my crx for my b swap is crook and doesn’t fit straight it looks the same as the one in video mines is just Hasport but it fits crooked any ideas what it could be
What length is that clutch cable? I have an ef sedan lx with a b20b with b16 trans and a stage 3 clutch and my clutch isn't wanting to engage all the way, I know the clutch is good and I've tried the 62 inch cable and 59 in cable and no matter how much I adjust either of them the clutch still doesn't want to engage. Any advice?
Hey Static, I did this swap in my 88 CRX hf and it’s making a slight tick by valve cover, check engine light stays on and wants to die until I give it gas.Any suggestions???
that is the quickest starting b series ive ever heard. its not even one "chugga" from the starter - it goes on a half chug.
HIs smile was genuine
That smile when he first turned on the car is everything a car guy wants to hear. Good shit fellas

Thank you for all the help Dana! 🙏🏾 I appreciate you helping me out!
Dude the smile you had after that initial drive, I could tell that it was well worth the effort you and Dana put into the swap.
Stay true, an keeper clean, ggz

@@loweyezinsmoke what are you doing with the d-series swap?
Im thinking your the Ef-master hands down.
Couldn’t stop smiling after it started that’s what it’s about 👌🏽👍🏽
Canada here...LEO! Very nice YS... the info on point, Leo's smile...priceless!
Your videos have way more information than any mechanic schools. You're the new school bro.
You nailed it and made it easy for those guys starting in the Honda game swapping. Now their going to need one video on how to go from this point to V-tec. One thing is listening or readying and the other actually seeing it being done with the right material and parts.
Love the patience while teaching Leo!
🙏🏾 Slowly but surely learning!
Hell yeah B swap on Leo's crx. Great job Mr Dana. Mad love brotha. Eflove.
It was awesome seeing how happy he was. You killed it for a days work!

You can also use a 3/16 Allen key or punch to line up the cams. The hole on the cam cap and in the shaft to hold it. I’ve used them a lot works great
So much knowledge bro I’m fr inspired. Can’t wait til I get my own garage to tackle larger projects like this
As a side note b series motors in an Si ef, the main pulley will rub on the radius rods, but you can use a DA pulley to clear the Si radius rods.
Dam boys you guys just put in the work 💪🏼 and really good walk through video 👌🏼 made me feel like I could do it 😅
Man in my book my man you are a legend I actually had to stop watching your videos so I could get a couple episodes behind so I can binge watch always interesting and informative keep it up
what i do to clean engine or things with heavy grease on it i use gas works bad ass you should try it
BEST CAR CHANEL ON TH-cam WITHOUT A DOUBT
Thanks for the video. Picked up my first Project CRX last week and got a B18 today for it so I will be doing this swap soon.

Great job Dana !!! Awesome B swap knowledge thanks 🙏 mate !!! Leo is a cool dude I enjoyed his smile on the first startup !!! Peace ✌️ 😜👍🇦🇺
how many hours did that take, most shops would have made that a 3 day event.

So did you stay on odb0? You use 90-91 integra ecu for it or the pm6 (si 88-91) can manage the b18a1?
Yes sir! I stayed Obd0 but with a PR3 ecu I found in the junkyard.
Usually to stay obd0 in a Ef you use the PR4 from an integra
Damn. The grind is real. Big time job knocked out like that. GG’s. 🙌
Another great job Dana. Enjoy your B series Leo.
Thank you! 🙏🏾
Good content on this one guys. Crazy all nighter and Leo you let that transmission kick your ass. Thank god Dana can edit! Hee heee Que Onde Amigos

Imwould love to do a bswap but knowing how fast the pats add up it would take years to accumilate the parts.
What Sunday is the ef vs da's meet???
What is he doing with single cam and transmission????

Loving every bit of this!
One day I’m gonna bring my DA to you Dana. I want the whole engine bay redone! Just like how you did it on the RHD DB1 integra video!
It’s ok to leave all that dirt and leaves inside the trans housing?

Hey bro love you content I'm doing somewhat the same build as we speak except I'm not sure if the 90-93 mounts will fit on a 94 motor?
Next video: Leo' s moving to San Jose 👍👍👍🤩🤩
Would I need a new harness to fit the b series in my 89 civic sedan lx if it runs the dual port injection d15b2 engine that has a carburetor
i heard a mini me swap is faster than a b20 stock
Love from England bro love the hustle 🤘🤙✊
Whats the hoodie mr leo wearin?
Just picked up a 86 civic wagon rt 4wd i was thinking about b swapping before I sell what do you think i really want a rex or ef hatch
not too familiar with what all can be done to that year civic. but possible. i'd sell it as original as possible.
It's definitely different it's a carbureted

I have one question
I live in EU and I have one crx with ZC D16A9 And I am going too swap b16a2 on that body so witch post mount I need for that swap
That B swap feeling. Priceless. He's never going back to D!! 👍👍
Trying a SiR B16 into EF sedan here in New Zealand. Any tips on going from a carb version to EFI?
would it be simpler to do a b16 swap?
can this be done to a 1990 ED civic with the d15 single carb
If only you could find them parts in Florida now a days... I miss my efs

Where exactly do you jack up the whole front end up to where it goes up soon freaking high to pull the engine out from underneath the front end? Lol
underneath behind subframe with a nice square hunk of wood.
whats that rattling sound when you start your awd crx?
