    So, guys let us first know the basic meaning of the exact meaning of Gauge.
    The gauge means the clear difference between the two tracks
    Will guys whenever you travel with Railways you might have seen there are sometimes the size Tracks Changes like When Travel in kalka-Shimla Route.

    Please note the chronology. 1. Indias first rail way in Bombay from Bori bunder to Thana in 1853 was broad gauge. At that time railways were private and no standardaization. So each railway company built railways according to its financial and passenger projections. So the trunk routes were built by big companies as broad gauge. 5' 6". As oposed to standard gauge of UK 4' 8.5" . The main reason was the broader gauge could move more passengers and goods and more stable. So some companies built meter gauge beacuse in 1860 there was a metrication movement all over the world and there was a thought that all the railways in the world in future will be built as meter gauge, this never happened. The mountain railwys were built on narrow gauges because the rider ship prjection was minimum. Also the Kalka shimla railway was reletively last to be built it was built only in 1900s. So there was no gauge expansion with population expansion. In England there was great western railway built by Brunel London Padington to Bristol and beyond which was 7' This was about 3000miles in total length. In 1896 British parliament passed the railway gauge standardization act and ordered all gauges to be standard gauge ie 4'8.5". This is when after great planning in just 48hours all 3000 miles for Great Western railway tracks were converted to standard 4' 8.5" including bridges and platforms. This is considered one of the great railway miracles ever. This was done in 1896. The standard guage was already esxisting in England before railways because it was drwan by horses to move coal from mines to ports . Stevenson replaced horses by his newly invented steam locomotive. The 4' 8.5" was ordered by Roman emporers as a standard for horse drawn carriages and also they had to travel as left as possible on the road because the whip that was used on horses did not hurt pedestrians. The 5'6" gauge is still used in Spain. USA is 4'9"" and Russia is 4'11" rest of the world is 4'8.5" . I am an avid viewer of your channel and also a rail enthusiasist.     Mr Shubam kumar This is the first and only video and 1st in my life I am seeing the mixed track of all the three Guages of the Indian Railways I am a Train Lover since 1954 having come from a 40 member family of Railway Employees 7 of which were the loco pilots of the ERSTWHILE Coal Engine Era and naturally my body is full of thinking with reference to railway matters From 1992 to 2007 we too were having BG and MG Mixed tracks between MYSORE JN and ASHOKPURAM STATIONS But in my 68 years of Railway contact first time I came across MIXED GUAGE OF THREE TRACKS Special thanks to you for having brought this first time railway information of 3 mixed Guage track

    We have to increase speed . It is impractical to increase gauge size now. We also need to cover more parts of the country. This will give way to more routes and may reduce congestion on existing routes. gauge is pronounced as 'geij' Currently as you know government is investing on capacity augmentation through Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd who is creating dedicated tracks for goods train movement without waiting issues.

    मुझे आपका वीडियो बहुत अच्छा लगा।लेकिन मुझे भारतीय रेल से बहुत नफरत सी हो गयी है ।क्योंकि में ने गुरुवार को 12495 बीकानेर कोलकाता एक्सप्रेस से जयपुर ओर मुगलसराय की यात्रा की ,ट्रैन बिल्कुल सही समय पे चल रही थी ।जब कानपुर सेंट्रल से पहले सभी राजधानी ट्रेने ओवरटेक करने लगी।और इस ट्रेन को 4 घण्टे लेट कर दिया ।मेने प्रभु को ट्वीट भी किया कि क्या आम आदमी को सही समय पे पहुचाने की जिम्मेदारी रेलवे की नही है।सिर्फ vip ट्रेने ही समय पे जाएंगी।आखिर हम ने भी पैसे ही दिए है।फिर इतना भेद भाव क्यो।5 राजधानी ट्रेनों को पास कराने में उस समय की सारी ट्रेने लैट कर दी गयी।रेल मंत्री को चुल्लू भर पानी मे डूब मरना चाहिए।

      Because premium trains have the highest priority in Indian railways. As a guy who travelled in both local and premium trains, I can tell you that premium trains have highest priority in Indian railways. This is something you can't change. A rajdhani express of 2nd AC is 3500 to 4000 and 1st AC is 5000.
      Isse hisab lagao or socho ki rajdhani ko kyu priority di jati Hai. Vo log Jo safar karte Hai usske liye moti rakam bi chukate Hai.

    It will be impractical thing on the basis of space oCcupying complexity of tracks to make a mega gauge of more than 9 feets
    So we should give our attention to modernize Indian railways on speed front by increasing tracks speed tolerance capacity by inventing any other raw material which can be used in the manufacturing of tracks. Now if we have such tracks which can tolerate At least 180-190 kmph of speed easily then we have many options open to use which kind of locomotive to add more speed on trains.

    One thing you did not mention, In narrow gauge group, there is another type of track, which measures 2 ft wide only. This type is found in a very few places, as In Darjeeling Himalayas Railways (DHR), in W Bengal, Neral Matheran Railways in Maharashtra .
    In most places in the country, all meter gauge tracks are replaced by braud gauge ones for the sake of convenience and uniform gauge conversion .

Jese ki ap ek rajdhani ke loco pilot ho aapko bohut Kam stations me rukna hota he tab asst. loco pilot, sabhi station masters se signal status ki information nikalta he aur loco pilot ko batata he. dusra important baat ye he ki ek Asst. loco pilot ko har stoppage me loco inspection ki duty Hoti he Jese ki jabhi kabhi train ek stoppage me pohunchti he tab tab ALP engine ki puri overall inspection karta he.. aur last and final baat yeh he ki... ALP (Asst. loco pilot) har bar jabhi unko signal milta he tab ALP ka Kam station master se leaving request karni Hoti he... Leaving request ka matlab ki jabhi ek train ko Green signal milta he tab us ke loco pilot station master se pucha jata he ki Jo aapne hame signal Diya hua he Kya hum gadi ko start kare.... Too issi wajah se ek engine me loco pilot aur Asst loco pilot jaruri he

    Indian 5' 6" gauge has its origins in Scotland and has nothing to do with population. British gauge is Standard gauge. 5' 6" gauge tracks in Scotland have been converted to Standard gauge.
