World of Tanks is a Free 2 Play online game which is available as a free download. It is one of the best video games I have ever played and I fully recommend it.
So that is why I didn't win! I didn't shoot enough Gold ammo. ie. the M44 and this replay!

1) How would you know how well he plays.
2) I have average stats and an extremely poor laptop and I do better than half the people who spam premium rounds. What does that tell you about the relationship between premium rounds and skill? If the winner in this replay had used premium rounds sparingly and only when needed, then I wouldn't have a problem with what they did/needed to fire. But they basically spammed it.
OK then let's try this differently. I do not think he deserved to win as I'm sure there are better replays to chose from that is my opinion, what's yours then?
+Pixy Wing you can compare the exp and the kill , but you cant compare the damage, since it is on different tier, i.e i look at someone replay at replay quickybaby site, 5.6k dmg, but it have more exp than 11k on E100 on this vid

Tbh I felt this replay was just unprofessional, between the spam of HEAT and his rushing shots at the end there, which, if not for his angling of the turret, could have cost him the match. I'm not saying this is a bad replay; he did some things quite well, I just don't think it's 300k competition winner material

YES.....absolutely right...innecessary Gold-spam at first, then trivial misplay at using HE to other E100...and the enemy ODIUM Leo sucked quite much, too...didnt really understand that situation btw...
I feel like using the HE against the other E100 wasn't that bad of a choice was given the enemy was on rather low health; the misplay there was shooting the first HE round into the spaced armor on the side. I feel like if he had hit the turret, lower plate, or the rear (if he got the chance), the HE would have done more

Exactly as the comment right below urs saying...he wanted to do right stuff...but he very couldnt manage it with a super mobile tank against a super slow... (although Leo was on very low HP...so maybe his engine was wrecked or driver knocked out...)
This guy is honestly not even that good, during the final confrontation with the other e100 i was cringing so hard
Just looking at the gameplay and not looking at the stats of this player. He hasn't fired a SINGLE round of AP, he fires his HEAT and HE rounds into spaced armors, he autoaims at fast tanks trying to circle him, did i mention the HEAT firing? When he got circled AP would have been 100 times better, although it was at a short range AP travels much faster and would have guaranteed the kills on the amx and the leo. In the 1v2 at the end i would have done the same with firing gold but shooting HE at the spaced armor, that just made me cry.
Most of this gameplay was pure luck and this replay should not have won this price in my opninion.
Agree wholeheartedly. this replay was shit. Yeah, loads of damage and high exp, but it was terrible to watch. I'm certain there were more capable replays to deserve the win.

Here's My feeling on Premium ammo...
(thank God people are getting into calling it Prem now instead of Gold.. ya ya ya I know... hold outs)
I look at it this way:
1#- If a player wants to use Prem rounds, can afford the creds, then fine let him. If you cry because he killed you with Prem rounds... well gee its a good thing Kleenex is that hidden 4th Consumable slot.
2#- I tell all the guys in My Clan to pack Prem rounds but don't grow dependent on them. Mix their use and know when to use them.
3#- In Strongholds/Skirmishes/Clan Wars people are gonna spam Prem like its going out of style. (at least on NA server)
4#-

Sometimes I will spam gold at someone on purpose ESPECIALLY if they make an ass of themselves in battle chat crying about Prem rounds.

+The Anonymous Patriot totally get slinging gold (yes i'm a holdout) in clanwars/stronghold, etc... that's a competition and you are there to win. so why not use what you can. but what really gets me, is when i'm in my T67 and a guy in a t7 come along and just keeps pinging me with gold. i can buy the first round being gold, because you were either engaged or expecting a difficult tank. but when then next 2 shots are gold as well, i can't help but think, why. why oh why.

shades921 but ergo there is no use in complaining about it. It is part of the game. There will always be those who abuse prem ammo, and strangely enough it seems to be the "better" players doing it.
I don't see too many reds or Oranges running around spamming prem. (alot of times they dont have the creds for it but anyhow)

The Anonymous Patriot i wish i played in your games. it seemed the red's abused it more when i played. either way, i would have been dead. it's just frustrating to games not being decided who is the better player, but who can spend the most credits.

Well now we all know how to win QB's 300k subscriber contest. Spam HEAT and get very lucky. I'm really disappointed in you QB, your videos are usually so high quality, but these 300k winners didn't really do anything special or interesting to win.
Of course, in this dude's defense, he showed excellent knowledge of armor angling, and showed very limited knowledge about ammo prioritizing, but overall he played extremely averagely. He only got the result he did due to poor play by the enemy team, luck, and the tank, combined with a small amount of skill and a whole lot of money.

you see, the thing is, you need quite a bit of luck to get into a match like this guy did. some people just don't have the luck to get into a good match, so they don't really get such super awesome games. that, and a decent amount of people don't fire prem ammo as their standard, so they don't have pretty much guaranteed average dmg of the shell every time they pull the trigger. also, people need luck with shot trajectory calculating done by the RNG. again, not many people are lucky enough.

when he started to load second heat i stoped watching, he also loaded it from the beggining when he even didnt know what enemy he will meet...this types of replays arent very interesting...

I have always been a big tank nerd. I have dedicated like 12 years into studying tanks. When I started, wanted the IS-3. It has always been the greatest tank in my eyes. With its amazingly sloped front and monster turret, it still kicked butt all the way into the 60s. Good job QB and keep calm and tank on!

While this is technically true, remember that you take the decision on what ammo to load a LONG time before you really know what shot is going to present itself. Especially in the beginning, there is every reason to expect a very difficult corner fight vs enemy heavies that know what they were going - as opposed to what he ended up getting - donkeys who present easy pen after easy pen - where AP would have been just as good (and in some cases even better). You don't reload into different ammo in an E100 just because you see an easier shot lol

I didnt know anything didnt even know what the tiger or panther were or the fact that they were significan so I basically randomly picked a nation (Germany) then randomly picked a line (E50M) and I had my first tier 10 now I have 7 tier 10's 4 of them meds and 50M is by far my favorite

Andras Karsai No not really unless you consider most to be about half the tanks. And what is your point anyway? As you can see in the video he does aim for weakspots even with premium ammo.

Guys, 2 things to all the salty people out there. 1. This is not gymnastics, there is no modifier for difficulty in your execution. Its purely max damage and EXP based. 2. This player is not at fault for the way WARGAMMING have decided to make their game. This player has won the competition fair and square using the tools ANYONE can use to win.

Yes,in 2011 when i started playing WOT i rushed the E-100 line right away,but i was so unexperienced that when i finaly had E-100 in the garage i just couldn't penetrate any tier X heavy tank especialy an IS-7 was pain in the ass back then and i got so annoyed,even now i still do,when i remember those moments LOL.!And well after some time i got the hang of it finaly. :)

Look at all the nitwits in chat who for whatever reason dont think the e100 should fire heat standard. If you all want to put yourselves at a disadvantage, go right ahead, but why shit on someone else for playing the game to the best of their abilities?
The fact is, the e100 has a long reload. That means that youll be wasting 750 damage every time you have the wrong ammo loaded. That could be an extra hit a game in a tank where every hit matters.
Not impressed with this replay at all, yes he did alot of damage but theres a reason why you mostly show players replays which have better stats than this guy, this person is a bad player who spams HEAT who got lucky. But good commentary QB :)
why QB, this is like worst replay from your production. Iam sorry, there was so many better replays in 300k competition, for example T49; 8k dmg game
I think that competition would have been more fair and really rewarding, when it only has allowed replays without any gold ammunition or just very few and then correctly used.
And it should reward people for showing skills not everyone has. Like great map awareness, quick thinking and reacting and perfect angeling of the own tank, knowing its strength and weaknesses completely.
Not something like that winning cancer Artillery-replay..gold spamming at standing still-heavies, something 80% of us could have done too in his situation, that's just awful.
I would find a single hitting shot on a full speed ELC AMX at the other end of the map more worthy of winning than the entire replay of that gold spamming sky cancer.
I first went to the panzerjager I. I didn't know about the E100 than. I currently have the jagdpanther but I long for the Jagpanzer auf E100. I originally joined the game thinking to go towards the Maus
QB - "I don't just want to see massive damage from T10 tanks for this contest." Actual result, fully half of the replays chosen are exactly that. LOL
I would much rather see a little less damage but actual skill in these winning replays would be nice. This was just constant luck with poorly aimed shot after shot. Really disappointing replay.
It was not really perfect game, QB shame on you that you even do videos on these stupid gold players. He played worse than average, it was just gold and helpless enemy. No Respect!
Very odd fight for me, he just spams gold shells when not needed but then knew the correct time to switch to HE. A very very good battle but slightly spoiled by the heat spam.
I knew alot of WW2 Tank history and that is why I was suprised that the Tiger I(Tiger 1´s armour) is so ´´shi*´´ in this game. And really, if you wanna learn something about armored vehicles, than don´t play World of Tanks :), because armour values, speed, guns, pen., Tiger 1 vs IS3, ... just aren´t real and yes I know that this game doesn´t want to be a simulator. (And this isn´t a hate comment on this game, I like how almost everythign is perfectly balanced in this game)
4:00 ST-I and also IS-4 don't have spaced armor. From russian heavies only IS-3, T-10(IS-8) and IS-7 use it.

You need to give the lower tier tanks a chance. All these tier 10s, 9s and 8s already have good tanks and they don't really need anymore. You need to remember this. Lower tiers like 3,4 and 5 dont have any good tanks. I'm not saying these replays are bad but give the other tier players a chance. I'm not a hater by the way. I love your channel and everything you produce. :)
Oliver if you only have a Tier 5 than you don’t deserve to be given a tank of tier 8. If you’re in a tier 5 . It doesn’t take a lot of skill to win because all tanks except the kv 1 have very weak armor
The ending of that game was the perfect counterargument to those who cry about gold ammo. As long as wargaming keeps making rounds that give you over 100 mm of additional pen, people can and should abuse them.
Agree, you should use whatever gives your team the best chance of wining. The issues isn't the players using an available tool, it's the mechanics of the tool. I like the idea of reducing the damage on premium ammo. Trade damage for penetration.
not too sure i'd agree with a contestant winning 300k gold by spamming heat shells. perhaps more discretion is needed when selecting a winner next time QB.
i'd guess using performance boosting substances is frowned upon in competitive scenes. perhaps in the future i'll look at these contests with more reservation as the skill element seems to have depreciated somewhat.

WG wants to improve the role of armor in the game, but all they did now was constantly buff regular shell pen(TIER 10 mediums), when i played this game, not so time ago, having 175mm pen at tier 8 was normal , now the normal is to have 200+, yes , beside Japan Heavys, tier 8s's armors haven't changed that much, i think players are getting spoilt and armor has no role in the game anymore , now all i see is T54 players spam HEAT at anything(WT e100 and FV4005).Yes i have a T54 and i had a T44.
the tiger is SO underpowered it needs more than just a mantle buff
WoT has definitely sparked curiosity in me about WW2 armored warfare. I've read lots of books on various nations' tanks and other vehicles, their various strengths and weaknesses, etc. In the game itself my current top tank is the King Tiger aka Tiger 2; I like it but I can see how its shortcomings reflect its real-world counterpart.
I had been interested in World War II since I was 10 after my dad bought me Call of Duty 2, but back then I was mostly into the "boots on the ground" aspect (a little bit of aircraft too; the scene at the end of the Hill 400 mission with P-51's flying over and wrecking the Tigers' shit was awe-inducing) and tanks made my crap my drawers. It didn't help that every single tank was a Tiger or Panzer II. Shortly after I got Blazing Angels, one of my favorite non-WoT games to play. For a long time afterward I was much more interested in the aircraft, further fueled when I later got Blazing Angels 2 and the Dogfight 1942 games. I was eventually introduced to World of Tanks when the lunchguy at my elementary school overheard me talking about something about World War II and it turns out the guy was an alpha tester for WoT. About once a week he would bring in screenshots of the tech tree and such and discuss the game. After I graduated I didn't hear much about the game again until sophomore year of high school when an ad popped up on the sidebar of the Xbox 360's home page for the beta of WoTX. I immediately jumped upon the opportunity.

It should have been over when the leopard got behind him. Basically what the leopard had to do was track him FROM THE SIDE ( damage + rep kit gone) ,repeat ,then keep circle strafing.

I wanted the StuG then I got bored of it and wanted the Ferdinand. But then, I got bored. Moved on to the crusader got 2 marks going for my third and now I'm going for the jagd panzer E 100. Even though I'm at 46.2% win rate I've only done 5.5k games and am still not as experienced. I'm planning on getting over 50% by 10k games.
This battle doesn't deserve to be on this channel. Unnecesery HEAT spamming against targets and lucky hits.
The only thing I found that is good in this battle is the angling against the enemy E100. The rest is just luck and "skill".
You can have all the gold all the Type 59s in the world but this game is not that good at all.

e100 looks so mobile for the massive tank and gun.
I dont hate premium ammo user. Ir rarely use premium ammo, save only few rounds per battle in case of I need to get out from shit situation. On the other hand, I'm quite an avid HE user, always packing a good amount of HE if my tank has big cannon. What I hate is when I do load premium ammo, the intended target dies but then comes a tank that my AP couod pen but I don't have time to switch the shell. Feels like wasted :/
Guys, gold ammo hate for real? This heavy tank has 235 damned pen with normal ammo in T10, what the hell r u supposed to do with that amount? Put it up in your hole? I mean i'm not a big fan of prem ammo either (mainly because I dont really have the credits to afford them), but the E 100 is really a tank that needs the better ammunition.
Next contest imma play Object 140 or T110E5 full premium or grind some balanced arty line instead of wasting time trying to be the different hipster playing 113s and E50Ms trying to get awsome games, oh well...
hmm... QB i think i know why he shot those 4 unnecessary heat shots at the beginning. I would francly do the same, because if you decide your going into a close combat fight with alot of enemy heavys the chances of meeting experienced players knowing how to use their armor can get you in alot of depressing situationsif you decide not to fire heat. Also, especially i close combats you can aim for flat armor and were as AP wouldnt be able to pen heat certainly would. And i guess he thought. Yeah lets go save and load heat to make sure im defnetly gonna pen against thick armor. And maybe when he was in that situation at the beginning i dont think he wanted to reload normal AP because he was to focused on the battle. All the people disliking the video are guys who never ever played an E100 befor and who think adrian is a gold noob

OMG. Dislike. For number of reasons. I'm happy for the guy that he had such a good round but his 1800 average damage in E100 over 900 matches means this match was pure luck. Sry, dislike.
He's good at positioning his tank well but he's terrible at using the right shells for the situation. He wasted HEAT on exposed side hulls multiple times, and then also used it against tracks where it works terribly. If you're going to fire it as indiscriminately as that, it might as well be the only thing you load other than HE. Especially since he nearly ran his HEAT dry and didn't trust his AP enough to use it even once.
That end game was like two turtles trying to mate :p
I had full elite German tech tree first. Then I started researching other tech trees. I simply love the German engineering :D
and yes, E-100 was my first tier X as well even though I wanted Maus first :D
The mechanism of the premium ammo is bad in this game. It penetrates through almost everything and making the heavy tanks or any thick armor worthless. The good premium munition would do extra credits, experience points for damage or kill and let the smarter/better player win.
I know, yes the gold ammo is not premium anymore because we can buy it for credits...
But i think this is a directly installed bug that needs serious fixes.
Hey quickybaby what do you use to record? I keep trying to record with a face cam but the only software I could find were Camtasia and OBS and OBS does t look very good during playbacks :(

Sorry, but this was a battle like pest against cholera. Low skill, only luck, like most of those high damage battles.

no hate, but seriously this is sad that guys like him get the highest xp round in this tank, playing like a moron and gets even worse enemys to punish, would do this 10/10 in same situation but y i guess arty has to focus unicums like me before i can have those easy farmed xps..
I knew just a little about Armored Vehicles before I started. Now I can watch WW2 documentaries and identify the exact model of tank shown in the movie. I don't know whether that should be taken as a good thing or a bad thing.
Not noligable about WW2 tanks at all, but I didn't decide to do what every1 does, go for the Tiger.
Instead, I took a look at the store and figured out what the biggest tank in the game was. My first tier X was the Mighty Maus.
Before watching this, I used to think that I am the worst player of E-100, thankfully now I know I am much better than him at least just less Luck & no Gold.
i can't wait to get this tank myself, i think it's important to note here that a lot of the shots could have penned with AP. gold haters think it's all P2W baddies but realistically more often than not you just pay 5x the money to do the same amount of damage.
i really appreciate the lack of criticism for using certain kinds of ammo in Armored Warfare. HEAT isn't a magic bullet, it's just that it was designed to defeat the armor of a large amount of tanks that come from the time period most of the tanks in WoT are from.
I had a little knowledge of WW2 tanks, but just the most known tanks. The first tank I actually wanted, was the PzIV, as it played a big role in the german army. I was very disappointed when I finally got it...
OMG adrian, learn to play with normal ammo. Yes I am jelly about him winning the competition. He wouldn't have the skill to do it without HEAT.
When I first played WOT I went for the Soviet line strictly for the alpha damage.
I knew things about tanks, 80s' and more recent, but definitely not as much as I do now for older tanks.
I saw an episode of "Greatest tank battles" and heard about this Hellcat TD that i never knew about. Went and made an account the same week (unknown to me) that the hellcat got nerfed......

As for your question QB, for me it was: I read that WOT is a WW2 tank arcade game, and my first thought was "I am gonna get me a Tiger! woo-hoo!" When I eventually got the Tiger (back in 7.5) I was so disappointed, I nearly uninstalled. The tank was slow, it did not seem to bounce any shots, it caught fire every second game, and its DPM was lacking compared to its peers.
the first tank i was interested in getting was the t-34 which i was disappointed in because i didnt like the 57mm gun but the t-34-85 was exactly my type of tank :D
Just started playing 2 days before the official release, so there only were the Maus, IS-7 and T30 at tier 10. After release I went for the T30 because of ... well ... 750 alpha dmg which was something special back in the days ^^
However as I unlocked the T34, I was like "WTF is this, everyone can pen me! I'm a T9 tank wtf!". So I decided to start all over with the russian line. So my first T9 was the T34 but my first T10 the IS-7 =)
Btw that made me think about the old IS-4 again. Still in love with it
