Yes, I know, but what is the difference exactly. Notice the nice drawings between the A9 and M9. Very informative. Groundplan the same.
If possible, visit a dealer and try them out. The M9 feels huge in the inside. It is very good for traveling with luggage. The W9 is a lot smaller and it is faster.

Compared to the Alpha7 the W9S is smaller and it has closed wheelwells. That makes ist faster than the Alpha without trousers. I talked to s.b. driving the W9 original. He said that the W9 ist even faster than the Alpha with trousers (and in my humble opinion he is a speed-freak) . The W9s is even smaller than the W9. It should be slightly faster than the W9. As it is smaller it fits medium people of up to about 180cm (depending on personal body measurements) and small people. The W9 can be too big for very small people. The Alpha 7 too.
If you know Ben Parke's videos about Bülk and W9, it is important to understand, that his W9 was not a finished development, but sort of a first prototype. The drivetrain of the W9 has seen significant advancement since then.
I don't personally think the Bülk is comparable. I cannot talk about the Bülk from personal experience, because I don't fit into it. It squeezes my shoulders and I cannot breath properly in a Bülk.
I have seen Alpha7, W9, W9s and the Bülk. I have sat in Alpha7, W9 and Bülk but I only properly fit into the Alpha 7 (180 cm but 96kg and very fat calves.) Someone like Daniel Fenn could probably make an M9 or W9 fit. But I am very happy with my Alpha 7.
Like all models by Daniel it has a more upright sitting position, not so reclined as Bülk / Milans. And accessing the front wheels is much easier than Bülk. The W9S is made for persons up to 1,80 m.
Thanks for the answers! I would probably be too big for the W9 (194 cm). I am riding a QV+ and Quest without problems, but I would like to ride a faster VM some day.

@@thenight-frog2543what you say about the W9 I had is not at all correct. The drivetrain was upgraded by Daniel Fenn himself and had all the upgrades currently in production W9’s. The testing I did was with the bike exactly how Daniel modified it for me.
The only changes have been proper seats and a bit more space for calves. No one besides Daniel has proven a W9 to be faster than a Bülk and Daniel himself has never actually tested it compared to a Bülk either. They are identical in performance, but you are welcome to your opinion. Enjoy your Alpha 7.
