A song I remember so clearly from my early childhood. Hearing this always gives me good vibes. Music from the 70's always seemed to have a good, happy vibe to it. Nothing can bring back memories like a good tune can!
What a happy side this pop hit has & such an uptempled beat, it certainly turned me on to hear this one being played again and again while driving around. The war is over "and tomorrow night you'll see me sleeping underneath the moon"...considering it's not a real love song..it certainly has a positive message throughout. Thx4 postin'
Used to sing this song in a country(!) band. Had an excellent lead guitarist named Danny Brawley who played a Strat copy by Carvin. Great sound. He died several years ago, but I think of him every time I hear this song. Thanks for posting.
This just blows me away. This video done in 1970. Nine yrs before the first suposably first video (Video killed the radio star). This is such a cool video and in black and white. Awesome! Can you imagine the videos if they were done in the 60's?
One of the smoothest and solid pop songs of all time. That walking bass line is killing me!! Paul McCartney would be so proud.
Great song. Joined The Marines 77. Heard the song on the radio.
Inspiring !!! The best band ! Jeff Christie is a real STAR !!!
Qué maravilla que hicieran videos y poder verlos como eran de divertidos y graciosos ,gracias por todos los vídeos del grupo ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
How well they sang without auto tune or any of the other gimmicks. Still a Great song to hear.

I remember coming home in '68...the turn of phrase 'cannon fire lingers in my mind.
I'm so glad that I'm still alive.'
Good song

Eins der meist aufgelgten Singels als Discjockey in Burkheim Anfang der 70er Jahre - ewig schön ...
