We did get a ranch sitter on our 40th anniversary to allow us to go out to Colorado, the Sangre de Cristo mountains, to ride, chase cows, sleep on the ground and cook in a pit for 10 days. The snow was just melting, the wind was Cr a zy fast, the wildlife always showed up at the most inopportune times on the steepest slopes with the narrowest trails so i got a lesson in reality . In 1985 I was snowed in on the edge of town on our local public golf course. My husband had to use the snow machine to get to work. We had just had our youngest son.
If I lived out there I'd make my own bread and as far as milk goes I'd buy like 10 gallons and put them into deep freezer and maybe just use some powdered milk when needed cuz they do make powdered whole milk my biggest question would be what would I do for a job I'm already a country girl and I live in northern Michigan so I know I can handle cold and I've been to Montana in August and had water freeze on us so I know that Montana is going to be quite cold
I was pretty surprised to hear you guys were moving from Charlotte. I stumbled across this video because I was researching different things about Bozeman, Billings, Kalispell, and Missoula. I'm an army veteran moving to MT from Charlotte for similar reasons, and also because I'm trying to get on with the Montana Conservation Corps and some of those are their home base cities. After getting out of the military, moving from Fayetteville to Charlotte, and trying out different things I realized that I needed a change. It's very motivating to hear that you all have found a good life out there. Hopefully my pup and I can do the same.
Thank you for your time making this video. I live in N.C. In the country and look forward to spending time there I love the wildlife and the country. Can’t wait to get there in the mere future
Went elk hunting in Bob Marshall Wilderness. Locals all had camper in yard. I asked,"You live in some of best hunting around, why need a camper. "....They answered,"On weekend we like to getaway from it all!"
I'm trying to find a job out there working with horses and a place to live. I'll be moving from Clover, SC, like 30 minutes from Charlotte. I'm so glad to see someone else make this trip from my way! Thank you for this video, it definitely encourages my move!
I’m so glad this video appeared! I’m looking at townhomes/condos in Bozeman right now and am hoping to move in the beginning of 2022. I love the way how you describe how peaceful it is - I feel the same. 💗 Thanks so much for sharing! 🥰
Larsen, welcome. I am a native to Montana and live here in Bozeman. I am a die hard Montana Girl and have to tell you I loved watching this. Your eyes to the state remind me how fortunate I have been to have Montana as my life. Glad she has embraced you! A great reminder pf how some of us take it for granted. I could never live in a place where there was constant conversation of with travel route to take lol
What is the best place to start off with there. We want to get out of Phoenix so bad. We are thinking Montana. But we know nobody out there. Only have 1 vehicle, so it wud have to be a more civilized area. Need help, looking to get out of here within the next couple months. Just my wife and I and 2 dogs and a cat. Where wud be a place that has plenty of work and affordable living. To start off with most likely gonna have to be an apartment till we get settled in more. Pls and thank you in advanced if I can get some ligit feedback 🙏
Btw not from Phoenix. Just been here the past 4 yrs. And it's turning more blue by the day. I've always more so lived in smaller towns so it was crazy when we first moved here. And it still is....meh
I love this video so much, I found it by looking into moving to Montana. I also wanted to suggest looking into flotation therapy for your PTSD journey, it can be life changing and I know there are places that offer it in Bozeman!
Montana is gorgeous but we had to move away because DANG the cost of living is soooo high its outrageous and the jobs pay like crap. So wish I could afford to live there though, definitely my favorite state ❤
I would start off in Billings which has a pretty decent economy. Remote work as well. Housing market is crazy but may die down especially during fire season. It's a difficult place to live but well worth it imo
@@spectacu_lar Larsen, you picked the most expensive part of the state to live in, or shall I say, survive in. Bozeman is falling off the charts in costs. Other cities are more tolerable. And yes, while job pay isn't the highest, Montana is the only place to be if you are of working age. We are a non right to work and non free will state, the ONLY state in the union actually, so employee protections are strong and fair. And I think people are willing to work two jobs just to stay here. I am a Montana native who has tried other places and always came back. There is a sense of safety and security being here, and will stay. But back to you, I hope you're doing okay, getting through the growth and changes happening around in the Boz Angeles area.
I'm looking to possibly move out of California but I've kind of decided CA liberals will have destroyed places like CO, Texas and Arizona in the next 20 years and I dont want to move again. on a side not the thought of being able to go on a nice hike everyday is very inviting.
I think its going to happen they all ready ruined Idaho born and raised in Idaho I feel pushed out of my own commuity. I've lost so much access to all my fishing spots. No one minds there own busyness anymore. I give up they win they can have it. I thinking about fleeing to the middle of nowhere Montana but how long will be before they ruin another great state.
Also I feel like the politics are pimping out our land. All they are building is apartments and restaurants. They refuse to build homes. Pay the minimum wage and entrapping people in apartments. That's the situation in Idaho
I was just telling my mom how I want to move to Montana and I forgot about this video being my inspiration but I just found it again and remember you! This video made an impact on me. I’m from the east coast too. I’m ready for a big change. I just checked out the rest of your channel and we have other things in common too. I’m a Christian and I have PTSD & I’ve been in recovery for a couple years now. If I ever make it to MT I’d love to meet you! 😂😊 my only concern is what I would do for work out there!
We are literally packing today and tomorrow for our move to Montana this Sunday. I’m excited and nervous at the same time. I will for sure take a look at your other videos:)
I’m leaving Pennsylvania, wow, I’m excited, I drive trucks and I hate the city so bad, crime, welfare, I’m out in 6 months, the video was awesome, you seem like a good person thank you.
Im a born and raised city boy(nyc)..ever since im 16 its been my dream to move out to Montana. I'm 25 Never fit in here. Got plans to be out there by age 30.
The views of this video are incredibly high! I wonder how many of the 30k viewers moved to Montana after all! The deer are so great until you cross one on a dark Interstate ...or see a dead grizzly that was hit by a semi racing across the state. also the snow is so fun until your facing -15 and a 3 foot snow fall from the night before and can’t get to work the next morning.
I lived in Cheboygan Michigan and by south haven mi there was always several feet of snow.... first year we moved to Allegan, we got 18in of snow that took a day to get plowed out! 😊 fun stuff!!! Stay warm and safe 😁
Hi. While I'm not a fan of winter (Toronto, Canada most of my life), I am such a big fan of peaceful, close to nature, quiet living. So much so that I'd consider changing countries and move to Montana - once I am in reasonable financial shape. I'm admittedly nervous about winter driving, but I'll get that sorted out some how. Have a blessed day. I'm happy for you having found your home base of tranquility and joy. 🙏🏽
Did you just mention your boyfriend was snowboarding in 60 degree weather!! It sounds like an amazing place to live to get away from city life. I live in Florida and looking on moving to get away from the constant heat and flat scenery. It gets old after a while.
Not Bozeman, not Missoula, not Kalispell, whitefish.all over run with big out of state money, these people have pushed locals out and raised the cost of living to absurd levels, the further east ya go the cheaper it is and more real Montana ya get.bozeangles is lost to the liberal invasion.
In two years I wanna move out my parents house but I'm really trynna decide if I should move to another city or just move to Montana. That state seems like such a happy place to be in and the cities are getting way too expensive.
Muhamed Jones well you best prepare for the winter and be adjusted to driving in the snow if you live an a warm country but the sky season is always great divided and showdown are the ones that I really enjoy especially after it snows and there’s that fresh powder
Next floor in the skyscraper? Pretty much describes every big city. Be it Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, Portland, New York City et al.. I've been to your neck of the woods where you moved from a few times and it's not much different. Minus the Grizzlies and moose
Hi Larsen I just turned 20 years old living in Alabama. I just went through my first break up and I don’t really feel happy where I live. I thought about wanting a fresh start when I turn 21 next year by moving out of my parents house and starting a new life by myself in a new state. I really believe that I want to move to Montana next year because I’ve always thought about living in the northwestern states like Alaska Montana Idaho all those states. I got a good amount of money that I’m saving right now. And I’m working on self improving my body by exercising and healthy eating. The only thing I’m worried about is the smaller population there. I’m nervous about moving there by myself and not being able to make friends and eventually finding love again even if I’m nice to people. It sounds a little dumb but it’s the one thing that actually pops up in my head a lot.
I live in Va, lived in Nc for a bit...I was thinking about moving there too so thanks for the upload its nice to hear an opinion from someone who comes from an area I do too.
Thanks for the reminders of why this state is great! As far as moose goes, try the Boulder River area just south of Big Timber - it's not that far away from where you're at.
your emotion describes very accurately what those of us who have been there can only feel. it is very hard to explain to those who haven't. thank you for showing the emotion. cant wait to be there soon.
GIRL. This is about to be me, my bf, and kitty coming from CLT as well! And wow I needed to watch this!!!! You're so right, Crowder's Mountain and Boone/Asheville don't even compare to the MT mountain ranges! AND PREACH on the Charlotte corporate culture! I'm so ready to break free and breathe for once! Thanks for such a soulful video :)
I love the reasons you give!! good to hear some positive stuff about the state. I myself live in Atlanta, GA, and I'm applying to U.S. Customs and Border Protection and they have two ports in Montana I've been looking into. they are on the US/Canadian border though. (Sweetgrass top left of MT and Raymond TOP Right I believe) I hear the cost of living is really nice compared to bigger cities like Atlanta and LA, NYC. I hope you make more videos about Montana.
Understand places like Sweetgrass is insanely isolated and not necessarily in the best area of Montana by any means..This gal went to Bozeman, one of the most pristine areas in the country..BTW my family is from and currently lives in NW Montana close to the North Idaho Border..
Beautiful beautiful beautful! But please don’t feed the dear. Let them stay wild. When people feed the wildlife, they lose fear of the people and oftentimes end up getting into trouble or hurt. Thanks for the video. I live in Utah and it is very pretty too. But I want to go to Montana to check it out.
Great video and your commentary is spot on! I live in Hot Springs, Montana. I arrived in Montana on April 1, 2017, and am still in awe of the never ending panorama of natural wonders. I empathize with you about your feelings in regards to the scenic beauty, the peace and serenity imbued in Big Sky country and the warmth and affability of the locals. My sister is interested in moving here and I sent her a link to this video. I pray you and your family continue to thrive in this most beautiful of states. I hope you visit Glacier NP soon. It is Montana on steroids. The best time is a week or two before the fourth of July. It is less crowded, warm, green and all the waterfalls are still flowing with the winter runoff. You are also fortunate enough to live just a few hours from Yellowstone NP, as well! Bozeman is awesome...although a bit nippy in the winter.
Moose are found near marsh areas mainly, but be careful if they have calves as you may be perceived as a danger by the mother. I’ve only seen them at Big Hole monument so far
I currently live in Las Vegas. The city life is becoming miserable. Moving out of state to a more open and less chaotic place is becoming a more and more interesting.
I don't see why people would think you're crazy for living in Montana - I would think they are. Like are they blind? 😂 I currently live in Philadelphia. I've been living there for 5 years now and I am so over it, I never really enjoyed it. I worked pretty much 3-4 years in Center City, took trains, walked everywhere, dealt with crowds, nasty people, etc. I appreciate the experience and the lessons but I need a new environment. I recently took a road trip to Bar Harbor, Maine for the first time and fell in love. There was nature everywhere you looked! You could hear the forest talking, you could smell the fresh air, you could hear your own thoughts, people were happy and nice, lol. I initially wanted to move to either Seattle or Portland, Oregon but seeing how those cities have been behaving lately I have opted out. I don't want to leave one intense city for another. I'm looking at west Montana for nature and quietness but also because it is so close to Canada, Seattle, and Oregon - all places I want to see. I really need a quiet environment for once. Thanks for the video.
Take a look at Butte, Helena, or Billings. Billings has the jobs and is like an hour to an a half away from Yellowstone, Beartooth mountains, Red lodge etc.
I wanna move somewhere where I can own some cheap land and build a tiny house. Considering western montana though. Whitefish or some small town near it. Is it hard getting used to having to drive so far to get to places, even the grocery store? Are the winters tough? are you preparing for the HARSH winters with supplies in your car or house in case you get stuck in a blizzard for a few days? Learning to deal with the winter, as I grew up in Southern Califorina, is my biggest fear.
It's so lovely hearing your reaction to everything. I'll be moving to Montana with my husband, this summer, and I'm from Washington state and he's from Oregon, so we're both like, "Wait, this is a forest? Why are all the trees so far apart?" 😂 It's a very different kind of wild than I'm used to. Reminds me a bit of Kazakhstan or Mongolia, if anything. Rolling steppe slipping into scrubby mountain forests. I think I'm going to love it.
I’m in Greensboro and have always lived in NC. Not happy with the politics here. Never thought I would consider leaving this state, but it’s getting close. I just hope everyone doesn’t ruin Montana and Idaho.
God’s country. We need jesus in this time of strife and pandemic. I found your channel on my recommendation feed somehow. Great backlog of videos! God bless. ❤️
I lived in Colorado 15 yrs. Allover from Fort Collins down to Colorado Springs where I'm at now. It's changed soooo much here. I wanted Peace, and Mountains. Now it's become "Calirado". Crime, liter in state parks, more people seem snooty and heartless. There is no belief in God here for the most part. The videos you see on youtube about Colorado only show the Beautiful mountains and are usually outdated about information of the state. I did visit Montana. Drove from Billings across to the west..Butte, Missoula, Polson, then up to Kalispell. I will say other than Yellowstone where.I lived at working resorts there, Montana feels like a Real Mountain state. People seem nice. Some older folks offered me a box of donuts in the morning just past West Yellowstone. I want Montana to be my last chapter of life. Tires of the city life, crime, booming rap music, and people who don't appreciate the land. Time to head out and head north west to God's last Beautiful Western mountain frontier!
Hi Larsen, first time watching your video's. Boseman Ive heard has alot of california's living in it so they have most amenities Im assuming. So if you live around the outskirts I wonder if they have decent internet and decent cell service? Also Amazon Prime is very important:) Internet okay, cell service etc?
feeding deer and wildlife in general in Mt is unlawful....no matter how tempting try not to...however you can do a lot with how and what you plant to encourage(or discourage) wildlife by providing shelter food and other essentials....glad you are enjoying our wonderful state, hope you viewed the comet a couple weeks ago
Hey Larsen, I love your video and am truly considering moving to Montana but I have to choose a city still. What city do you live in? And btw your cat looks like my kitty, Stella!😻
I retire from active duty in a year and half. Montana is in my top 3 places to retire. Wyoming and Montana are the top 2 so far. I’m from Texas, but enjoy mountains and lower humidity! Southeast Texas was brutal for 18 years of my life lol
You seem so sweet. I would love to visit and/or move to Montana. I moved from New Jersey to Arizona back in July and I do like it so much more but I do feel like something is missing. I think it’s the nature that I’m craving and the four seasons. I love the mountains and I feel the most peaceful there.
Wow! I absolutely LOVE your video!!! I've been considering moving to Montana from California these last couple years. I work on a ranch by the ocean. I thrive to be a land owner someday or live on a big piece of property with my family. Growing up in California in a rich community is rough. When your family was just getting by with not much to leave me once I was old enough to move out. And I was an only child! California has a TON of rude people and I've had it. I like nice people and quiet spaces. Nature makes me happy too. I want my family to grow up in a beautiful land. Where people are respectful and nice. Thank you for sharing! I hope to make the leap and join the Montana community someday! I've been saying I'd like to live there ever since I was a young teen. Cheers!
I've been there twice but had tons of friends in college who grew up there. SAD (seasonal Affective Disorder) is actually a big issue up there due to short daylight hours in the winter. Also, the wind is supposed to be horrible in the winter, from what I am told....
I've lived in Denver my whole life, I love Colorado but man the population here and the people are out of control. I love the simpler life with a view of the mountains and the SNOW!! YES LAWD! We're moving 10/2020
While I appreciate your genuine love for our state, please keep some considerations in the forefront of your mind for us natives (this also applies for all of you that now want to or are moving to Montana). First of all this massive influx of people all at once is causing prices to go up on absolutely everything. They still may be cheaper than where you came from but to us it’s a fast increase in everything even though we aren’t getting raises to go along with this inflation. Homes are impossible to buy when people are moving in and buying them sight unseen and some paying cash, leaving those of us that are working hard, paying higher prices, and not getting raises completely unable to ever buy a home. Our services are extremely strained right now because we don’t have enough people that are willing to get a job, make their kids get a job, etc so our restaurants are closed because they have no staff to stay open! Traffic…..oh boy. This may not be “traffic” to many of you moving in but it is WAY worse than it has EVER been for native Montanans. and don’t drive like you used to in the city. We have manners here and let people in if they need to get in another lane--and then we wave as a thank you jester.
This cut me off. Bottom line….you’re relieved because it’s nothing like the city life where you came from but to us….it is becoming just that with this many people moving in. Help the strain…get jobs. If you have teenagers, make them get jobs. If you want to be a Montanan….we have a very strong work ethic….help out our community by contributing to it.
I believe in working very hard and I do just that! My husband and I earned our money and bought our home with our money. We deserve to enjoy this place just as much as the next person!
Finally a video where someone my age ACTUALLY sits down and honestly talks about how it’s like living in Montana.
Thanks for the feedback I appreciate it!

Thank you for your time making this video. I live in N.C. In the country and look forward to spending time there I love the wildlife and the country. Can’t wait to get there in the mere future
I moved here from TN, been here for 3 years and it is everything Larsens says it is. so amazing.
Thank you Irish Mike!
Which part of TN Mike?
Montana is one of the best states I have ever been to. , I live near Charlotte dont take that BS there
Went elk hunting in Bob Marshall Wilderness. Locals all had camper in yard. I asked,"You live in some of best hunting around, why need a camper. "....They answered,"On weekend we like to getaway from it all!"
ive lived in montana all my life and so did my mom and so did my grandma and so did my great grandma
Unfortunately changing thanks to the raping and pillaging of MT by greedy politicians and realtors
I'm trying to find a job out there working with horses and a place to live. I'll be moving from Clover, SC, like 30 minutes from Charlotte. I'm so glad to see someone else make this trip from my way! Thank you for this video, it definitely encourages my move!
glad to hear it!!
I’m so glad this video appeared! I’m looking at townhomes/condos in Bozeman right now and am hoping to move in the beginning of 2022. I love the way how you describe how peaceful it is - I feel the same. 💗 Thanks so much for sharing! 🥰
amazing last name!!
This is so sweet! Thank you!
Thanks for reminding me of this. This definitely appeals to me. I've heard great things
Just moved here too! You are 110% right! You just have to come here for yourself to experience what you're talking about.
Montana is gorgeous but we had to move away because DANG the cost of living is soooo high its outrageous and the jobs pay like crap.
So wish I could afford to live there though, definitely my favorite state ❤
Starting to realize this.....😕
I would start off in Billings which has a pretty decent economy.
I hope the CA liberals don't ruin MT like they did in Colorado, Kanye is living in Montana, Bloomberg is living in Meeker CO, keep MT Free
💯
We wont let them lol were allowed to have guns
😂😊 my only concern is what I would do for work out there!
glad to hear we could relate on so much!! there's more out here than you think!
I live in Greece but I want to move to Treasure State so much... All the nature, the mountains are just beautiful.
We are literally packing today and tomorrow for our move to Montana this Sunday. I’m excited and nervous at the same time. I will for sure take a look at your other videos:)
thank you!! hope you're loving Montana!
Major rock climbing around Bozeman too. And winter ice climbing if you have a death wish!
I’m leaving Pennsylvania, wow, I’m excited, I drive trucks and I hate the city so bad, crime, welfare, I’m out in 6 months, the video was awesome, you seem like a good person thank you.
Cool. Glad you guys are enjoying Montana. I was planning on moving up there this spiring…not sure where though
Im a born and raised city boy(nyc)..ever since im 16 its been my dream to move out to Montana. I'm 25 Never fit in here. Got plans to be out there by age 30.
But anyway, have you ever been to Montana?
@Ognort The Great i am already approaching!!!
I've been watching videos of Montana since last night. So beautiful! I would happily move up there. Greetings from Mexico
Greetings!
Just came across your video. I’m in Durham NC. My husband & I are visiting Bozeman next month. Can’t wait to rock climb & hike while we are there!
Have fun!
Hey, thanks so much. Very informative.
hey, you're welcome!! thanks for the input!
That is so beautiful! I live in Michigan so it’s a pretty flat state lol. I need to make my way to central/west US.
Consider N Idaho. All of nature , but not necessarily the snow, depending
@@ediewall6360 Thanks. A lot has happened since my original post; all the more reason(s) to move, and not look back. 🙏
Did you just mention your boyfriend was snowboarding in 60 degree weather!! It sounds like an amazing place to live to get away from city life. I live in Florida and looking on moving to get away from the constant heat and flat scenery. It gets old after a while.
Im from Montana. good move on your part!! Bozeman is a great place to live, Buy as quick as you can, the prices double every year!!
I want to live in Montana..if I may ask...Where are the most affordable places to live on a fixed budget??
What’s the average hse/lot cost in Bozeman? Do you know of other places in Montana with affordable cost of living?
Witness the raping and pillaging of MT by greedy politicians and realtors
Not Bozeman, not Missoula, not Kalispell, whitefish.all over run with big out of state money, these people have pushed locals out and raised the cost of living to absurd levels, the further east ya go the cheaper it is and more real Montana ya get.bozeangles is lost to the liberal invasion.
Look into billings area
I have lived in Maine my whole life and want to head there! It's so pretty in Maine and slow paced and gorgeous, this seems like the right idea.
I’m here from Maine too!!!!!
@@carlycorbin4467 Maine is nice. Why Montana?
I’m a Mainer looking at Montana too. I love it here, but wow. Those mountains. Montana looks unreal.
I go to Bozeman Montana every summer and I love it so much, the people there are so nice and it’s so pretty!
I lived in Montana all my life
In two years I wanna move out my parents house but I'm really trynna decide if I should move to another city or just move to Montana. That state seems like such a happy place to be in and the cities are getting way too expensive.
“Lived”?!? So you’re dead now?
Yah I guess now😂
Muhamed Jones well you best prepare for the winter and be adjusted to driving in the snow if you live an a warm country but the sky season is always great divided and showdown are the ones that I really enjoy especially after it snows and there’s that fresh powder
Must have gotten shoved out by greedy politicians and realtors raping and pillaging MT
Don't let fear stop you! It's an amazing place and you can always move again if you're unhappy!
I was born and raised in Los Angeles and I am finally sick of it. I’m thinking of moving out there. The only thing that scares me is the winters.
I talk about that in the video I'm about to post! You should check it out!
No
And leave your LIBERAL propaganda b.s. in Cali and don't tell the locals how to live !
Thank you!
That's amazing!!! Good luck!!!! Aw thank you so much for the sweet comment! :)
I agree don't come and change it come and enjoy it
I love the reasons you give!! good to hear some positive stuff about the state.
Thank you so much! If you haven't seen it yet, I did make it to Glacier!!!!
Larsen Engberg Cool beans!
Thanks for answering me from Florida thanks again
No problem!
awesome video, truly informative and eye-opening, watching all the way from Puerto Rico :)
Thank you!!! Thanks for watching!
I don't consider Missoula and Bozeman a part of Montana
Western Montana is beautiful!! I imagine a lot like Maine.
Don't become rude. Please. We are filling up with rude folks.

I like to think I am a very kind human :)
Love Montana...
Where do you live, I'm trying to find a house rn that is close to the mountains and national parks. I LOVE MONTANA SOO MUCH💖
BOZEMAN MT WOULD BE YOUR SPOT!!
I have a home in the mountains for sale that might strike your interest. Google home for sale 200 fish hawk road Helmville Montana
@@peteneverxvt8774 Nope, Butte MT is where its at. surrounded by mountains.
Whitefish is about as expe sive as California
It's so lovely hearing your reaction to everything. I'll be moving to Montana with my husband, this summer, and I'm from Washington state and he's from Oregon, so we're both like, "Wait, this is a forest? Why are all the trees so far apart?" 😂 It's a very different kind of wild than I'm used to. Reminds me a bit of Kazakhstan or Mongolia, if anything. Rolling steppe slipping into scrubby mountain forests. I think I'm going to love it.
Definitely moving back after the service
Montana is amazingly beautiful 😍
Ayyye also from Charlotte. Played Far Cry 5 and thought, yup... that's where I'm headin 😆
is it anything like farcry 5?
I also live in Nc. And i love it. I understand you were in Charlotte though I'm in much more of a rural area so I love it.
I’m in Greensboro and have always lived in NC. Not happy with the politics here. Never thought I would consider leaving this state, but it’s getting close. I just hope everyone doesn’t ruin Montana and Idaho.
@@tallchick1966 same not happy with the politics at all. Im like 20 min maybe from Greensboro in eden. Just moved from madison
@@TimScottDT 🙌🏻 we need to get our state back. It’s too beautiful to lose. I could do without the humidity. 😂
@@tallchick1966 lol ik the humidity has been BAD lately, and I think in my area it supposed to be bad today also lol I agree couldn't be more true lol
God’s country. We need jesus in this time of strife and pandemic. I found your channel on my recommendation feed somehow. Great backlog of videos! God bless. ❤️
Thanks for being here! Subscribe for more :)
Do you worry about bears when hiking?
Yes!!!! You always need to be prepared with your bear spray!
How did you fund your property in Montana? It's hard to get land there, unless of course you married it.
I lived in my in laws house for 2 years while my husband and I saved money to buy our own place! It wasn't easy.
We have access to great internet and cell service!
Where in Montana do you live? I’m moving to Bozeman
Sorry if I missed it, watched while driving
feeding deer and wildlife in general in Mt is unlawful....no matter how tempting try not to...however you can do a lot with how and what you plant to encourage(or discourage) wildlife by providing shelter food and other essentials....glad you are enjoying our wonderful state, hope you viewed the comet a couple weeks ago
I did! Very cool!!
I'm kind of wanting to move to Montana, just afraid of the cold there, 😀lol, coming from LA, Cali.
You made me cry because of the peace
Hey Larsen, I love your video and am truly considering moving to Montana but I have to choose a city still. What city do you live in? And btw your cat looks like my kitty, Stella!😻
You should check out Billings, Missoula, or Kalispell area to be in the city!
I retire from active duty in a year and half. Montana is in my top 3 places to retire. Wyoming and Montana are the top 2 so far. I’m from Texas, but enjoy mountains and lower humidity! Southeast Texas was brutal for 18 years of my life lol
Thank you iam researching Montana one of my choices iam currently in Ms .as an child i also live in st.paul mn.keep uploading sister.
You seem so sweet. I would love to visit and/or move to Montana. I moved from New Jersey to Arizona back in July and I do like it so much more but I do feel like something is missing. I think it’s the nature that I’m craving and the four seasons. I love the mountains and I feel the most peaceful there.
You should definitely come visit Montana! I love the seasons here! And the mountains are profound.
I would love to move Montana someday
Cheers!
Awesome! We are moving to Helena in a few months. Looking forward to it!
If you don't mind me asking what do you have PTSD from?
My wife has it from a roll over accident she was in before we met.
I worked on an ambulance as an EMT for 1 year. It has now been 3 years and it still affects me every day! PTSD is tough!
I've been there twice but had tons of friends in college who grew up there. SAD (seasonal Affective Disorder) is actually a big issue up there due to short daylight hours in the winter. Also, the wind is supposed to be horrible in the winter, from what I am told....
*Wind is horrible. As for S.A.D, we're first in nation for suicides. That should tell you all you need to know.*
Where wud be a good smaller city to move to in Montana. I'm in Phoenix AZ and I want out. I used to live in NV.
Red Lodge!!
I feel so happy for her 🥰💕
Thanks for great Video.
Hi Larsen - New Subscriber!!! I love Montana! However, I live near Seattle! Which, I Love!! Too!
Cool! Thanks for following along. I've always wanted to go to Seattle!
I've lived in Denver my whole life, I love Colorado but man the population here and the people are out of control. I love the simpler life with a view of the mountains and the SNOW!! YES LAWD! We're moving 10/2020

Wooohooo!!!! Thank you!!!!!
I Love This State!
Awesome! My big like😄👍👍 and sub! New friend thanks for sharing.
That's my dream place
how's the cell and internet service? how are the wages and cost of living?
service is fine unless you're out remote. Very expensive where I live right now!
Sorry if I missed it but how was the winter? I hear it can get very challenging.
The winter it’s amazing that’s why Montana it’s the best state 👍
Been to Montana and fell in love with it . Will go back to visit again.
Hey , do you see a lot of ATVs on the roads out there , I’ve heard they are streetlegal .... I wish that was the case everywhere !
Im so jealous i want to see Montana so bad i live here in ohio. Im trying to talk my wife into moving
