Yeah this spot is super nice although it‘s almost impossible to drive there during daytime. You have to get up really early and in winter it‘s closed unfortunately.

Such a great rig. The weight is what separates it from other cars I have. It's so light that just with a little throttle it wheelies like crazy :D

That last hit was very hard right on the one suspension arm flexing it alot, but it looks like everything went back to shape and stayed toghether. tough!
Yeah it‘s still fine after that hit. The driveshaft bent quite a bit but I straightened it out again :)

No I haven't, the truck is really wide haha. But the Badlands give it an extra inch because of the off-set. Someone recently told me that the Backflip LPs work really well on this truck, they don't have the same off-set so I'll be trying them out soon to see how the handling is then :).
Fell in love instantly with that slow motion double and triple backflips! Any chance getting the Arrma 8s Outcast? Would love to see that in your videos as well.

The Outcast 8s is definitely on my list (I'm a SBW guy so I prefer it to the Kraton). But I've just pre-ordered a new camera, should be here soon. Therefore I don't have too much money anymore that I can spent as I'm still at University and have no regular money income :D. But I will try my best to make it happen.

The temps are alright on 6s, I usually drive it on 4s and sometimes just for fun on 6s. The power is just ridiculous on 6s you won't be able to drive full throttle, at least I can't. But keep in mind I use the small and light badlands, so with different tires you might get some temp issues :)

I don‘t know exactly😅 but nothing was broken during this shoot. One driveshaft was bend but I was able to straighten it out quite easily :)

I think I have watched this video at least 15 times- so many good things about this video- especially all the shots where the camera is in motion. I really liked that. How did you get the shot at 1:01 Did you use a drone?
That's also a great tip/trick, usually the more the camera is in motion, the better. Just makes everything so dynamic. If you go back a few videos you will notice that there's way less motion involved.
Just used the gimbal and ran alongside the car :D
@@KiTrisExtremeRc I thought with the speed of the truck you might have used a drone, really well done on that shot. I will have to experiment with having the camera in motion.
I‘m surprised how well it worked with the running. You will probably see a lot more of that in future videos :D

The MT410 comes out to play again after a long break! How do you like it versus all the Arrma trucks you've been running lately? My MT410 is still my favorite, just so dynamic to drive due to the combination of a wide stance and relatively short wheelbase. Did it break on that last hit? Most trucks would snap an arm with that kind of impact!
Haha yes :D Unfortunately my ESC broke down two months ago and it therefore I had to sent back the ESC for warranty. But it came back two weeks ago so i decided to take the MT410 back out again :)
The MT410 is still quite different I would say because it‘s really light weight and also swb. As you said it‘s such a dynamic and agile car can‘t really compare it to the Kraton EXB for example. But this also means that the MT410 is more likely to get set off by rocks where the Kraton would just blast through. I‘m a SWB guy so I prefer it to the EXB but they all are really fun to drive and therfore are all exciting in there own way. But the build quality is superb of the MT410.
Nothing broke during the shoot but I bent the driveshaft on that impact. But I was able to straighten it out again :)
If you stop the video at the right second it‘s amazing how much the arm flexes, just insane😁

How would this combo handle 4s? I am thinking about getting this kit but all I have is a hw 4s esc with a 2200kv and a tekin gen 3 with a 1900kv
Do you mean the castle combo? If so, it handles 4s great. I run it on 6s sometimes but 6s is kind of ridiculous in terms of power :D
Generally 4s is better for bashing. I run a 18t with the 2200kv and Badlands and I hit around 55mph, so that's more than enough :)
I would like another bashing monster truck to add to my collection, but right now it's all decisions for me. What are your overall thoughts between the Tekno mt410 and the kraton Exb? They both seem like they are very durable trucks.
As you already said they are both really though trucks. There is no big difference in terms of toughness. The main difference between those two are the weight and the chassis-length. The Tekno is a lot lighter which helps with ESC/Motor temps and the runtime is better. But you have limited space so you can't throw in a 1717 for example.
The lighter weight of the Tekno can sometimes be a disadvantage, because it gets easier set off by stones and stuff where the Kraton seems to be more stable in this regard. Meaning that it can blast through rougher terrain a lot easier while keeping straight (which is also because of the longer wheelbase). The handling of the Tekno is insane though (really agile). So if you have a smoother ground it is just outstanding but the Kraton is not bad either. But you definitely notice Tekno's racing background.
The Kraton is a lot easier to control in the air (a lot more forgiving). If you tap the throttle or especially the brake a little bit too much on the MT410 you will definitely end up with a bad landing. That's mainly because the Tekno is quite front heavy and therefore really sensitive in the air. But that's just something that you have to get used to.
The last thing would be that the Tekno on 4s is around the same than the EXB on 6s.
Depends on the gearing but usually the MT410 on 6s is mental haha :D I sometimes do it just for fun😜

Yeah the MT410 is a little bit more „special“ and the EXB the better allrounder. The EXB should be also a bit cheaper :)

Yeah if you stop the video in the right moment it looks even more brutal.
But nothing broke.. I don't know how but everything survived. The rear driveshaft was bent after this one but I already straightened it out again :D
