This challenge is unreasonably unforgiving compared to literally any other activity in the entire game
Couldn't get it after many tries, even with almost all upgrades. Finally got it after changing gameplay speed to 50% in settings. Just gives you more time to make decisions and figure out what you need to do next.

For those who are struggling I have a few recommendations. I was stuck for like 20 minutes too.
1) In the suit tech damage upgrades pick air marshal over focused parry. Some enemies are too far from ledges to toss off so with this you can swing kick or air launch into an in air combo to knock them out fast to not lose as much time.
2) In the suit tech damage upgrades pick The Floor is Lava over Combo King. Same logic as the last choice.
3) Use concussion burst for enemies that are far away but are near a ledge.
4) Use Venom Dash to close distances on targets near a ledge. Miles will throw his enemies after grabbing them so try to angle it towards the ledge.
Whoever decided to make the gold time 1 minute and scatter the enemies on opposite sides of the map on floating platforms like this and spawn them mad far away from you is getting a sternly worded email
Every other challenge can be done in nearly 1/3rd of the gold medal time limit, then there’s this shit. What was that dev smoking bruh
i seem to remember the first game having a very similar issue where most the screwball challenges were really easy to get gold but there was one that was just such a headache that i never bothered with it
To anyone struggling with this challenge, Go into your in-game settings and go down to shortcut cut 2 and and press X and select game speed 30% from the list and activate it in the challenge, I was able to do the challenge and get Gold in 47 seconds..

Literally the only reason i was able to beat it! So hard without this little tip.
Pro tip: Put the game on 30 percent speed. That's how I did it. It will still take MULTIPLE tries, believe me. It's almost impossible, I hit it with only 5 seconds to spare and went over it countless times, but it gives you way more time to think, and it does slow the clock down (even though the clock is still fast). Concentrate on the areas where there are groups, and when you have it available, use your Mega Venom Blast to take out a group at once. Otherwise, use your best abilities when available. Chain Lightning in groups helps. Also, use your Web Strike constantly to traverse faster.

Don’t torture yourself and do this on spectacular. Set the enemy health to friendly neighborhood and spam your r1 square abilities and go ham with you’re L1 abilities. Use venom surge on groups of 3 or 4. Use web strike to quickly reach targets. That’s the strat
Did this plus switched to 30 percent speed and got 59 seconds my first try. This challenge was unreasonable.
@@nicholastapia3091 it really is. I tried it on 30 percent speed also but I didn’t like it tbh. I finished at 57. Insomniac needs to tone this one down just a bit. Maybe add 30 seconds so it still can be difficult if u don’t give it a good effort but reasonable if u know what to do
im on my first playthrough on spec, i didnt put any damage+ on suit tech so i can be in combat long, and no gadget upgrades at all.
I beat every other one, except the brutes ones because i lacked a certain skill for being able to lift and throw them out the stage and lacked the damage too.
I knew within 30 seconds of the kill 20 enemies i was like 4/20, and i knew i was doing something wrong...
its insane how everything else was doable, but this one was INSANE.

I beat it within 59 seconds. To be honest it depends on a shit ton of luck. If you can kick enemies out of the arena or multiple with special attacks. Maximum output could help but it is not the deciding factor. The blue elektric charges weaken them enough to finish them off with fighting or gadgets. For the most part i just switched between the two untill i beated it. This wasn't that different from the challenges in the first game. The rest after this is relatively easy. But this stage in particulair is just horribly designed.

Make sure to web throw the junk floating around in air as well. The generators explode eliminating them in one hit, and the pallets knock them back decently far.
Thanks. I was hard struck on silver for this. I completed the other mysteriums with gold in 5 attempts or less. Most of them only took 1 attempt.
it is so random how this challenge functions. On my first try 100% speed I got a 1:07 but I never got that low. Then I switched to 30% and I never got under 1:03 with it till I got my fastest run with 0:46, meaning I had still 14 minutes to spare.
Tip don't use finishers aside from maybe the last one or if you need to finish one off before going to the next group, because you are stuck 3 seconds in that animation
nobody likes this stuff, why do they keep putting this kind of thing in? why make it so unreasonably difficult?

Just get enough gadgets and suit upgrades. I beat it with 5 seconds to spare on my 7th attempt
Just did it on :59 sec after 15 tries. Best way to do it is use the extra damage while mid air and spam gadgets and abilities everytime its available.
Also i dont have everything unlocked. Im at 31% completion. The guy on the vid looks like he had all upgrades.
Turn the difficulty down to friendly neighbourhood, gotta put that saiyan pride to the side 🤣

Whoever designed this one should lose their job, you don’t move that precise enough or do enough damage to do this on spectacular difficulty.
Every enemy is a tank and your abilities take forever to cooldown.
Lord knows why they decided to add this type of shit back.
Just let me do the missions how I want, got to look up videos and even then this guy is on easy having enemies get knocked out in 2-3 hits..

@@FireFlyTakenno it’s a game issue not a skill issue if it was a skill issue I couldn’t have platinum’d all 3 games on the hardest difficulty with ease the game isn’t hard at all even on spectacular difficulty but this s* in particular is a pain in the f* ass to get GOLD on

I beat it yesterday and did in 55 seconds here’s some tips 1 get to level 35 or higher #2 get all gadgets so the web shooter the concussion and the other to #3 level up your suit tech damage at least to the second to last bar and upgrade your douse bar at the skill tree. And you’ll beat it
And u must get at least 10 opponents beat by the 30 mark
Tried it about 4 times on amazing difficulty with 25% of the game completed, 100% game speed, only about a quarter of the skill tree filled out for miles, using no gadgets, with basic abilities (venom punch, venom dash, and venom smash) to no luck (obviously). I saw a video that suggested turning the difficulty to friendly neighborhood (I know taking away some of the challenge) and game speed to 30%. Three tries in I got a record of 1:01 and almost gave it up completely. Gave it one more try and somehow got :53. Glad I never have to do that again 🤧
Bruh. I had a stroke doing this challenge . I got it in 59 seconds.
I would understand if you had the limit of if you got hit, time sped up, but it seems like if you're not looking at the timer, it speeds up. At 30 seconds, I've only got 4 enemies. Maybe I'm just that bad. I even tried it on 30% and switching their health to friendly neighborhood.

finally beat it with a 0:43!! Put it friendly neighbourhood and 70% game speed and target the large groups with web grabber, thunder burst, and venom smash
This one is really stupid hard. Did not mind any of the others but this one sucks.
Just did it with 70 percent on easy mode. 30 percent was too unfamiliar feeling for me. But also got lucky with 0:59

I did this shit at level 17 dawg I didn’t know you could change the speed or nun I did it on spectacular too i was suffering 😭
Jus so you know knocking the guys off the edge insta kill so use a web grabber group the guys up and knock them off not in the middle but the guys on the outside platforms
Change the gameplay speed in the settings and this becomes way easier.

I swear this s* pissing me off they freaking nerfed miles venom powers and you don’t move quick enough and do sufficient damage like I swear I’ve done this 30 times and I get silver EVERY SINGLE TIME

Just got it at 0:58 seconds. Could got it a couple seconds earlier but my enemy flipped over the railing so I couldn’t instantly zip to him.
Any tips on how you got it? Do you have anything maxed out?
@@Suhayl_KhatibI just got it a 59 seconds. Maxed out web shooters were a life saver. Triple tap would web nearby people and if you web them at point blank they fly away (off the map or into a wall and stick). It's definitely a gadget based challenged. Grabber and ricochet helped a lot too.

This challenge is fucking unfair
As everyone has said, it is luck. But the biggest way you will beat this is through the use of gadgets and abilities.
Also, save your venom blast, L3 + R3, for the last second Hail Mary.
Yeah you could go and handicap the game so it’s 30% slower… but doesn’t that defeat the purpose of beating it at its most difficult? lol js might as well play the game in “friendly neighborhood ” difficulty
At max difficulty, this was the only “difficult” thing in the entire game… the rest of it is just pressing buttons like a ps1 game.

Lol, me too! One guy to go and I fell off the platform underneath him! Was losing my mind! But had one finisher in the bank and just managed to get him as the clock hit a minute. Not fun, Insomniac!!!
the best you can do is use ur ricochet web and knock enemies off the map to save time that’s the best option
