I noticed some folk had a bit of hard time referencing the info what the pilot was pointing out, maybe a suggestion is to inform customers of to use the "clock" method. For example " off to your 4 o'clock high-low" is cindercones"
Same pilot we had on our tour about 5 years ago. His name is Steve (Shaeffer, I think). AWESOME pilot, great tour guide, and wonderful person!!! I'm sure they're all great, but I'd highly recommend Steve if he's available. Mahalo.
@@KonstantinZheludkov Wonder how many times he has done pretty much this same narration in his career with this touring company, porobably has it all memorized from a long time ago,,,,,
Did this a few years ago on our first trip to Maui. It ain't cheap , but you gotta do it. There are things on Molokai that are only visible by chopper.
Fantastic tour, if you dont mind me asking, do the pilots always play that Hawaiian music over the headsets? If I am ever able to make it there again, last time was over 35 years ago I think, Long ago enough where on the flight over from San Fran or Oakland, the movie the played on the flight was RAIN MAN with Tom Crusie, which didnt matter to me, only because back then, those monitors that some airlines have that are in the back of the seats, those werent even invented yet I guess, and with me liking to sit next to the window, and the monitor on the plane for the movie was towards the front of the cabin AND with how tall the seats were, watching the movie for me back then was totally out of the question, only because I COULD NOT see ove the seat in front of me, so I guess the only thing I could watch for however long the trip took, was just the open ocean, and BOY did that get boring after a while, see Nothing but water the whole trip, I mean I dont even think I even saw a ship or anything else out there the whole way over. so that made for one very LONG flight..............
I’ve been on helicopters in Hawaii several times and have never had as knowledgeable a pilot. He’s fantastic.
Amazing video! Do you mind sharing which route did you tour?
Even I enjoyed that tour and I'm sitting here in NZ! That pilot is a top man, funny and knowledgeable, nice work.

Too bad there was so much moisture in the air that day...
Music adds nothing...
