WONDERFUL 😍
Thank you so much, NomadLifestyle. Wishing you a beautiful day!💖💫🌿
I can't tell you you how many times I have come back to listen to this. It is my favorite rendition of the Butterfly Jig ever!
Wow, Sharon, I’m honoured! Thanks for your very kind & beautiful words. ❤
Such an elegant and naturewise happiness. Like colorful thoughts passing by...
Heavenly💓coming from an Angel playing harp on Earth💓
Aww 🥰, you’re so sweet, Hala. Thank you for your very kind and lovely compliment!
Beautiful, people like to go to different countries and hear music from where they travel to.
Thank you, Bonita. I agree. Music has a way of transcending borders, connecting cultures, and emotionally influencing the world. …And if we aren’t able to travel, music can often take us on a magical journey to those far away places.
I used to love playing this on my tin whistle with my school orchestra. We were ment to go to the national concert hall before covid, bings back so many memories
This must sound great on your tin whistle Panda! I’m so sorry the pandemic caused you to miss your concert at the National Concert Hall. Hopefully you’ll have many more opportunities to play this beautiful tune.

Thank you so much Joseph! Love you too!
So wonderfully magic and dreamlike. Fantastic to hear~
É impagável a felicidade de se tocar assim, solo e harmonia, e com tanta perfeição e sensibilidade interpretativa. Very Good!
I saw and heard this beautiful harp and harpist play at a 105th celebration near Rockland recently. The music was divine and so I had to search it out. It was even more interesting to find out how internationally trained/experienced Julia is. Simply beautiful piece, exquisitely arranged by Julia.
❤ Eire❤️
❤🇮🇪🎶🎻❤
I LOVE the Butterfly. First heard it on a CD, this sacred, dark, simple cello with harp accompaniment at a time when I was having some paradigm shifts in life. Breathtaking. Could never find that exact track, but this is a playful rendition ^_^
Taką muzykę chciałbym słuchać wiecznie.
uugh! This is food for my soul! SO GOOD!
Very beautiful music!
What a delightful music and arrangement! It really summons images of a butterfly flying tirelessly everywhere, taking - and giving - as long as it lasts. It puts me on mind a T.S. Eliot's poem:
"If time and space, as sages say,
Are things which cannot be
The sun which does not feel decay
No greater is than we
So why, Love, should we ever pray
To live a century?
The butterfly that lives a day
Has lived eternity."
How beautiful Cecilia! Thank you for sharing this lovely poem and for your kind, sweet words.
@@soulharp Glad that you liked the poem! This remarkable video is already added to my TH-cam playlist. The fiddle player is excellent and percussion and guitar are faithful 'travelling companions' to the butterfly's journey...
Beautiful sound and beautifully played!!

beautiful, thank you!! only thing missing is the irish bodhrán drum :)

I think it's important to do the research and give the proper credit to the right person. The Butterfly is a Slip Jig by Tommy Potts (1912-1988)
Thank you so much Harp Tranquility.
Tolle Version
Děkuji Peter!
I play tooo
May I ask, what model of harp do you play?
I was wondering too! It looks like a Thormahlen. I just end ordered a Thormahlen Ceili. Two of my harp friends have them and they are beautiful!
+Jj Sc It's a Triplett Eclipse harp, you can look them up on their website triplettharps (dot) com. Hope this helps!
Sorry for the very late reply Jj Sc!....It's a Triplett Eclipse harp. I love playing it. It's so easy to play and it resonates so beautifully.
Thanks Andrew! :)
magnifique ! un peu plus de son sur la guitare qu'on entend pas ...!! Bravo à tous !
Merci beaucoup Vince pour votre gentillesse! Bon suggestion pour la guitare. :)
Piękna zmysłowa muzyka.?.?.
Is there a version of this without percussion?
Hi Nathaniel! Unfortunately I don't have a version without percussion.
Trad Irish, it’s Turlough O’Carolan. Credit pls.
Thank you for this important reminder Maryam. Much appreciated!
Very pleasant. But I find sorry that, at +1 mn, I have only seen the harpist about 5 or 6 seconds ! And his sound is so much dominated by drum and violin that it is not fair to call the video with 2 names that both seem rather secondary for the realisator...
