- Celtic music on its own it very moving. Make the lead instrument a fiddle and it makes it that much more emotional. Enjoy a hour of beloved Irish (Celtic) music and you soak in views of the entire region: Scotland, Ireland, Wales etc.
This makes great background music for your home, office or use it to study, sleep and read.

A very relaxing way to end the day.
This music reminds me that it’s ok if I go. Just when my time comes I’m ok with it. I’m 38 and a combat veteran. I’m also a father and a husband, a son and a brother, a friend and a professional violinist. I’m ok with what I’ve done in this world and I’ll leave it to my kids when the time comes. This music reminds me that death has tried to clam me for years. When I finally go it will be on my terms and we’ll walk over to the other side holding hands as old friends. Until then I’ll keep being who I am in this place and waiting on my old friend.
Thank you for choosing to keep being here, with the people who love you and care about you. I understand the concept of Being Okay with death I, too, understand my place in the process we call life. Knowing the music in your soul is still being gifted to the world, by your own hands, is precious indeed. I don't know why , why now, why this way, but your response really touched my heart. I appreciate you, Stranger I don't need to know you for this to be true Thank you
Death has tried to claim me several times over the years as well. I actually flat lined on the operating table giving birth to my son years ago then close to being killed several times after that. They say if you've looked death in the face & you're still here, there's a reason why you are still here. You have a job to do here. When you're finished what you are here to do, then it will be your time to go to fiddlers green. I've always loved the fiddle. I've always wanted to learn. We buried my little sister on new years eve of 2021. My other sister gave me her violin. More reason for me to learn. So I can play for her.
@@kellyireland2521 as a former 19D “ cav scout” the fiddler green part was a cool touch.
Young man who ponders death at age 38, stop it. How ridiculous.
We've got more work to do. We can't leave our kids in a world of chaos and insanity.
I'm from Eastern Kentucky (Central Appalachia) and a lot of the European settlers in this region are Scotish-Irish. If you've ever been, you'll understand why our ancestors chose to settle in a place that looked just like home, and boy does it ever! We have an ear for the fiddle ourselves and wouldn't have bluegrass music if it weren't for these fine folks. Much love to our forefathers and foremothers.

Give the Irish an instrument and they'll make you laugh with sorrow and cry with joy.
Very nice sentence. There is indeed a lot of heart and soul in speech or in music in Ireland.
Love the Irish, married a musical man!
So true
And if you give them a pot 'o gold, they'll hide it at the end of a rainbow.
And if you ask for it back, they'll challenge you with a riddle. And if you get it wrong, they'll hop on each foot and laugh in your face, then scurry up a tree, and you'll never see that gold again.
I spent so much time thinking this ache in my heart was for someone ....it was for God. Thank you Heavenly Father 🙏🏼❤
❤❤
AMEN, TRUTH
If only more would see that the empty feeling inside that they feel..the lonlness is the lack of God in their lives..bless you!
There's a God-shaped hole in all of us only He, the one true God, can fill.
Yes ❤
You ever miss somewhere you've never been? But you know it's in your blood?
Yes I'm Irish and Scottish
I hope to see both in my lifetime!!
So well-said. The ancestral calling in your soul to the place you know you lived before. Such a longing you wish could be filled.
I know what you mean. I felt those feelings before but not as deeply as I have tonight. Listening to this and other music I find myself crying out wishing I knew the people of where I come from. I have deep longing to live amongst people I never knew and a deep sadness wishing desperately to go back from where my ancestors migrated from. But I guess that's just a wish, a fantasy that will never be fulfilled because even of it was possible to go back too a people I come from they would never see me as there own, nor would they ever except me and I'd feel like an outsider again as I do anywhere I go. For I do not know the language spoken by my people, nor do I know the ways and so I sit here crying knowing that no matter where I go I'll always be an outsider longing to be apart of something or someone who will never see me nor except me as there own. How could they, I don't walk like them, nor do I talk like them, even if they speaked the language as me, you'll find there accent is beautiful where is the sounds from my voice are nothing like there's. If i could speak tnere language I would be heard as a funny strange person. Would they laugh at me? Perhaps so... If only I was like them...if only.
Exactly the way I feel every time I hear music like this and see images like these. You can feel it in your bones almost. Even though your bloodline has been living away from this place for generations and you've never been there...your soul seems to remember
I even get goosebumps
Music. A most precious gift of God. The way we dare to express the depths of our soul.
Beautiful description.

Love how you said--"The way we dare to express the depths of our soul." Thank you for that powerful quote.
I don’t believe I have a drop of Irish blood, but Celtic music always envelopes me.
Fond memories of my Grandfather Robert Moffat Hillis who played the Fiddle. He was born and raised in Belfast Ireland, came to the US via Ellis Island, married my grandmother Grace Irene Stuart and became a farmer in Idaho and played the Irish Fiddle for his Family🙏🏼💙🥰🍀💚🍀

Everyone talks about white sound, green sound and brown sound. But I prefer a nice fiddle. And Celtic music is even better. I'll fall asleep to this faster than I will thunder or rain.
I usually do lightening and thunder, I’ll have to try hopefully there is black screen available ⚓️🧡
I'm going to try listening to this music instead of the "airplane" sound. I just love this community. So happy I found it. My mom was from Ireland, and I have many cousins there, some are musicians.
@@tammydavenport-gi7qp I can't even listen to the thunder or rain. I have storm anxieties and it just makes me worry that there's a storm going on on the other side of my wall so I'm more awake and feel like I need to go to the storm room. But this Celtic music puts me right out.

Many folks in the Appalachian mountains, USA including my family have roots in the British Isles, especially Ireland. I have always wanted to visit there, but now my health prevents it. Yet, I can enjoy this wonderful video of this moving music and breathtaking views. So I can smile on and keep my dreams alive. Thank you immensely.
Come home
I was born and raised in the USA and I’m all American. But I’m Irish on both sides of my family and for reasons unbeknownst to me, traditional Irish music resonates into the deepest of my heart and forces tears to my eyes out of a generational longing for communion with the Irish people free, in our home land.
Same for me too. I'm a Texas girl, my bloodline is mostly Welsh and Celtic anything has always been my world, I literally feel homesick for this landscape...
Same here. My grandmother descends from Sir Walter Scott. I always feel drawn to my Scotch/Irish (grandpa was Irish) roots and the country.
The Hobbit, the Elf 🧝🏼♂️,the fairy , horse, the Dragon, the mer , 🦄the beauty seen as the beast . With this scenery , sounds , colors would be beautiful with mix , we can’t forget the harp . Beautiful dancing laughter, wine , bc tears are real . Love is still, I can feel it deep as sea , Art , laughter, family matters.

Grateful are the nights as well , the lights are pastels, tis sweets scents of lavender, and jasmine. The road less traveled was often a dirt road . But grateful bc the meadows where nothing short of spectacular , with the unique rock landscape and minerals and mint green flowers 💐, basil , lemon 🍋, pepper 🌶️, spices of delicate & delight, . Books for the children, As we never feel grown up, and how can we ever know enough. Love. This is how you remind me . The Ancient nostalgia memories, of love . That the fact is golden. I am now 70 years young and will soon be 71. With my parents gone, all their brothers and sisters, I think about what kind of like they must of had. On both sides of my family, they worked hard everyday but always made time for some of the fun in life on Saturday nights from what my mom told me. With Carpenter, sconnus on her side and Yeager and Haynes on my father's side, one can't lose. A very musical family. She played a guitar, a brother played the fiddle and my father played an accordion, harmonica and mandolin. And they all loved to dance. Memories worth hanging onto.

I'm glad my Irish ancestors thought love was stronger than religion
Don’t know what ancestors those would be. Mine followed St. Patrick who overcame the savagery and human sacrifice of the Druids (only pagan religion banned by the Romans) with the gentle yoke of Christ, Who is Love.
God is Love. He is the source of all love. You can't get love without God. You can not believe in God, but that doesn't change the fact that he is the source of all love and we are made in his image. He created us with hearts that have the ability to love! So you can't seperate the two! Praise the Lord Jesus Christ, the God and creator of the universe!!
The bogman proves that
I think it an impossibility to look at these breathtaking landscapes of startling green and seeming endless seas of blue and not know God exists and loves us tremendously.❤
I believe he exists, his fingerprint in all creations speaks volumes 😊
It is very possible to see the world without the need of any deities. I see a world that is wonderful because we have grown in it to find it wonderful. But I'll be damned if Ireland doesn't have some of the most beautiful vistas on earth.
I don't believe in god but I respect your opinion and felt I have to say you've got a good point. Have a lovely and wonderful day dear strangers on the internet. 😊

All we read is mostly " I " statements of feeling sorry for oneself we have nothing to fear but fear itself. Rejoice in peace what an amazing beautiful time to be alive and to be a part of. True PEACE is found in the unseen Spirit of the LIVING GOD YHVH who endlessly loves everyone reading this. And every single person who has been born from the beginning of creation. Whether we are living or passed on in the meantime we have work to do life is a blessing please enjoy everybody.
My mother's side of the family is of Irish and Scottish descent. My maternal grandma's maiden name was Kerrigan. The three of us were so proud of our heritage. I miss them both dearly.
What a beautiful place and music!
I had to watch this over and over. Amanda's story teaches us the power of kindness and compassion towards ourselves.
When life gets hard and it can be really hard, i say to myself- I'm choosing happiness not because everything is the way i want it to be but because i choose to define my own story. I'm not going to let the negative things around me define me.
Holding on to up for a brighter day. Better days ahead.
Spreading love, light and positivity.
If ever I yearn for home, it is when Irish music plays.

VisualMelodies, thank you for posting a wonderful collection of music with a beautiful video as well😊
Beautiful, thank you! I was just there in September 2023 & going back again to my roots to celebrate, my birthday in March 2024! Then, more steps to move back to my Irish roots where my grandparents & great-grandparents were born. This music feels so beautiful & my heart aches to see these pictures but aches with love for Ireland.

Treasure your blessings and be kind to others for Angels are listening.
The song in the first 6 minutes. 😭 I only recently discovered that I'm of Irish ancestry. I write music like this and didn't realize until then that this kind of sound is an Irish DNA manifestation.
So faithful to your souk ❤️
Best DNA in the world.
There needs to be music like this on our satellite tv programs…and on the radio!!!
I can feel the beauty of the music in my soul.
For sure!!!
It's too beautiful, it doesn't look real... Thank you.
My Irish boyfriend and I have fallen apart... this Celtic music is making my eyes full of tears but at the same time it is filling me with high hopes 🙏 ✨️ 🎶
Hope you make up ❤
@NBarrettEngineering Hiya Niall 🤗 I trust you are keeping well. Thanks a lot for your very kind message. I have really appreciated that 🙏 unfortunately there is still silence between us, it is been 1 month now. He has not replied to my last message yet... it hurts. So disrespectful too. I am praying a lot and abandoning this pain to Jesus and He will know how to transform it into joy and grace. If it is in God's plan, reconciliation will be there. Otherwise our life paths will just be different.
I'proud to have irish ancestors. It is such a beautiful and fascinating country.
I love irish music
I left a fragment of my soul in Scotland with you….whenever in the world you might be, I want you to know that I love you incandescently. Thank you for standing by my side; as I found and saved my self.❤️
I am learning the tin whistle and have the greatest fear of improv and freeze up. Somehow, upon hearing this music, I grabbed it and played along to the fiddle. Thank you kind sir, for sharing this beautiful music
I visited some cousins near Carrick-on-Shannon some years ago and we spent the evening around the fire in the old stone ruins on the neighbouring property... And one of the young lads pulled out a tin whistle. ... Imagine how privileged I am to have experienced this???!!!. I can't even tell you..
This video playing on my large TV above the fireplace plus a good kindle book, a warm afghan, a glass of Jameson, and a seasonal scented candle. Perfect!
Whoa whoa whoa, slow down baby! Jameson is an ALCOHOL.
The Irish struggle with alcoholism, I should know. You should never mix business and pleasure or Irish and alcohol. Babe, this is preschool level stuff. No booze for you, ever again!! I want to tell you about Alcoholics Anonymous. You could meet a man named Randy there. He could be the love of your life, maybe even a pirate too. Randy can be a lot of things. Honey I need you to know you can find a sponsor. You know that moment when you’re crying on the floor of a nightclub and you’ve hit rock bottom with your bottom? That’s when you’ll call Randy. He’s your sponsor. You can call anytime day or night, though if you call while he’s at high sea he might not say “arghhhhh matey, I support ya!!!” But that’s all you need from a sponsor like Rand. You’ll be okay sweetie, you’ll pull through this rough patch in your story. Do it for your daughter, for Charlotte May.
I hope you understand that help is out there babe and Charlotte your daughter and I and Randy are all here to help.
When you finally graduate from AA and you are sober, that is when we will celebrate with a drunken bash in Ireland, ok babe?? Don’t forget that sometimes farts are actually more and can be poop so always beware of that. Lots of love xoxo
