I also used to think about the developers who wrote those build files... it is amazing 👏 😍
Just started a new project. For sure going to use this. Thanks
Have fun!
I will test this, look amazing 🤩
Hope you like it!
I've been using the first version in production for a while, and it's pretty good. I tried to switch to the second one when it came out, but I had a lot of issues at that time :/
Well done. It looks really useful. What recommendation do you have for library that does components (like bootstrap or daisy UI). Its a bit hard to be both a coder and designer at the same time.
When there is a designer on the project then unistyle looks like a good choice
Not a big fan of component libraries anymore, right now probably Tamagui although NativeWind is great as well because of Tailwind!
Where can I find the videos about `expo prebuild`?
What do we really lose by not using `expo go` other than the preview links? I assume we can still use EAS builds?
I save the theme that the user defined in async storage but I don't know how to retrieve it later so that the theme chosen by the user can always be set until they change it. How to do this in unistyles?
What's the difference between expo dev client and expo prebuild?
The dev-cllient package adds the same overlay menus and stuff you are used to from the Expo Go app. It's not a requirement, you can do a regular prebuild without adding the dev-client but you get only the default RN debugging options then!
Which vs code theme did you used?
Shades of Purple
it can be animated?
try it
Sure!
I still prefer React Native Restyle
To each their own!
NativeWind 4 looks better
why is nativewind not as popular as tailwind on web? it only has 40k weekly downloads? is there any performance issues?
I think it's a bit under the radar, but think it's going to be more popular after the next major release!
