No headshots are allowed for the last decade or so, but we grew up learning to ear-hole the ball carrier or a potential tackler. The ear-hole shot sounds like a canon went off in your helmet, so the old saying 'head on a swivel' applies at all times.

Which left the Dallas fans with high animosity. He then got to his last team which you see here is the San Francisco 49ers. Every time he played against Dallas with the eagles or the 49ers he was hated. So he decided to disrespect the logo...just as moss chose to rub himself on the Packers goal post. Its a straight up insult to the other team and the fans

You cannot grab someone. That's a "Holding" penalty. You cannot tackle someone before they catch the ball or block their hands. That's a "Pass Interference" penalty because it's considered unfair to prevent someone from catching the ball. If the ball is going to reach me before you do, you can totally keep running full sprint and hit me, because I had a fair opportunity to catch the ball. A good receiver goes for the ball no matter what. A good defender makes the receiver hesitate to go for the ball.
Trash talking is a big thing in American sports, and that stuff goes on all game every game in just about every sport. Again, watch the NFL Combine so you can see the capabilities of these college kids and exactly what it takes to make an NFL team.

There are no flags for most of these and off the ball battles happen every play. Offense players without the ball try to block defense players that attempt to tackle or are in the way of the offensive ball carrier. It is penalty to "hold" a defensive player which is exactly what it sounds like, but as a blocker you can knock them to the ground or muscle them and push them back/away from the ball carrier. It is a penalty if you "throw" a block to the back of a defensive player. Also 2 players blocking 1 defensive player, if one of the blocks high and the other blocks low (legs) is a penalty and called a "chop block" and is very dirty and dangerous.

What happened was the guy was showing off on his way into the end zone by running in slower than he had to and waving the ball in the the defenders face. It’s called taunting and that’s what he was called for. Doesn’t seem like much but it’s unsportsmanlike conduct. Another good reaction. Maybe time to start expanding your American sports horizons. Actually, the majority of these guys like each other, and many have been teammates, either on previous teams or from college. Also, unless it's outright punching/"boxing" they're not really fighting... it's usually just blocking, which can happen whether the ball is near or not. It's a major part of the game. In this video though, since it's showing "savage" moments so that's obviously what's featured here.

All hits used to be legal now though you got to wait for the receiver to come down out of the air before the hit and no hits to the head at all and when there is a running play you have to block for him don't you
The reason they antagonize the other players, is to get the other players to make mistakes and get the other players kicked off the field so their team can win! As you can imagine, tensions usually run VERY high against each other (even in practice!)
Brian Cushing, the guy who smacked his head into the othe players helmet. Was caught multiple times for steroids. Just to put his actions into perspective lol. To be fair many are on roids.

Oh hell yeah they rewrote the playbook that year, specifically for Jackson's style and needs, no one ever does that, I think the pressure was on though because obviously 2020 into 21 didn't go how we thought it would. It’s called taunting and that’s what he was called for. Doesn’t seem like much but it’s unsportsmanlike conduct. Another good reaction. Maybe time to start expanding your American sports horizons. The golden Tate play he was flagged for taunting. Because he was waving at the guy as he went to the end zone. Its a sportsmanship thing and while I get it from a teaching kids right and wrong its just stupid.
Actually, the majority of these guys like each other, and many have been teammates, either on previous teams or from college. Also, unless it's outright punching/"boxing" they're not really fighting... it's usually just blocking, which can happen whether the ball is near or not. It's a major part of the game. In this video though, since it's showing "savage" moments so that's obviously what's featured here.
facts. I loved the mic'd up videos where you can hear the players teasing one another in a playful way due to being previous team mates. Super fun.
Google Myles Garrett and Mason Rudolph fight- THAT was savage and resulted in a long suspension for Garrett. The Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers are long time AFC north rivals. The 3rd clip in the video shows these two teams.

I'm a female. In elementary school&middle school we got to play football,baseball,volleyball,&basketball in physical Ed class.everyday.so the rules&strategies are normal to us.
I watch it but I don't question their sanity.

"Obviously they don't like each other" ... that's not actually true. I mean it could be true but in football it's common to fight or lay a big hit on your friends who are on the opposing team. Being friends provides you no protection.

The reason they antagonize the other players, is to get the other players to make mistakes and get the other players kicked off the field so their team can win! As you can imagine, tensions usually run VERY high against each other (even in practice!)
Brian Cushing, the guy who smacked his head into the othe players helmet. Was caught multiple times for steroids. Just to put his actions into perspective lol. To be fair many are on roids.
They have joint practices in the preseason for short periods of time. A few days or a week
They throw their hat if they don't have another flag to throw. It symbolizes another penalty flag.
If you want to watch some good football, check out the CFL ( Canadian Football League). There is a good video by nihm showing the difference between Canadian football and American football. Oh and just a little fun fact. Football was invented in Canada, not the United States.

Oh hell yeah they rewrote the playbook that year, specifically for Jackson's style and needs, no one ever does that, I think the pressure was on though because obviously 2020 into 21 didn't go how we thought it would. I hope they're rewriting it for this season. I'm lucky though I'm from ravens nation but currently live in Kansas so at least I had kc as my back up lol.
