I have to let him out the house sometimes for fresh air, only problem is he doesn't stop yapping when I do! 🤣 Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy what's to come on this series 👍
Cheers mate! Glad to be posting again 😁 There's loads of episodes to come as usual and you'll even get your banter fix on two days a week now as a bonus 😉
On form from the get go 👍This series is going to be fun. I had same issue in France finding coffee shops (well the bit I was in) but this is when sign language comes in handy 🤣🤣🤣
Ah thanks bud, glad you enjoyed our dual motovlog Europe debut! You'll soon see why travelling through western Europe is not such a great idea during Easter weekend... and how entire countries seem to completely shutdown (which is understandable of course) 😆
It was a fantastic experience to have with my Dad, Ged. We made some awesome memories on the miles we covered and we weren't really off to anywhere in particular! I can hint though that Colditz was about as far as we got before turning back 🙂 Hope you enjoy the rest of the series!
Thanks so much and glad you're enjoying our banter! It's quite the road trip with no shortage of the chit chat, so we hope you stick around tune in for more 🙂 Also you can't beat the bullet proof workhorse that the Deauville (650) is 😉😆
To be honest neither of us realised the amount of attention a crash helmet (and probably the yellow reg plates) would get us... especially in Germany! However most of these moments were enjoyed off camera but we do talk about it here and there throughout the series 😁 Hope you enjoy what's to come Neil 👍
Nice to see the start of another road trip. Great to see your dad getting used to the wonders of anti-clockwise on a roundabout. Looking forward to hearing about how you immerse yourselves in the French culture and language 😂.
To be fair Richard he adapted to the European roads really quickly and luckily we didn't spend too much time in countries that spoke French or Dutch. Neither of which we have a clue with 😆 Hope you enjoy the any of the bits you tune in for in yet another seemingly never ending Pooley series 😁
I never expected to be doing something like this when he was teaching me how to ride almost 10 years ago! Hope you enjoy what's to come and hopefully get some inspiration for your own road trip with your lad 😁
@@Pooley650 we did a couple of trips to Wales last year and had a great time despite getting absolutely soaked both times. Hoping we can do another couple of trips this year 2/3 days at a time and maybe a longer trip next year if we can get our time off work to align
Thank you very much for the comment and glad you enjoyed our return 😊 Quite the contrary it seems as this new series seems to be going down with folk very well! Besides it's not all about the numbers anyway, I'm just happy to be able to share such a great adventure with dad 😁
So I asked my dad about this and he said he knows what you mean and his still gets cut off from the side... it's his only gripe with the app. He said it could be different depending on the phone, for reference we both use Huawei P30 Pro's for our navigation on the bikes. Hope this helps and thanks for watching! 😁
There is mate if you go straight on and not turn off like we did (when we followed the Tesla) there's a Total Energies probably less than 1km further down the road. Wouldn't recommend the filling stations nearest the chunnel though as you will get stung on prices more 🙂 Thanks for watching and hope this was helpful!
@@Pooley650Cité Europe Carrefour hypermarket fuel station, very close to tunnel and cheap, for France anyway. Might be card operated fuel pumps only, make sure your card works in France at automated fuel pumps, some CCs don’t, tricky on a Sunday with everywhere closed.
@@Pooley650 I was surprised that your father was an Iggy Pop and Roxy Music fan! Imagined your father more a Radio 2 listener of “Music while you work” and Mrs Dale’s Diary era, how wrong can you be.
Love it, on form from the off. It’s like watching the chuckle brothers 😂
To me, to you, to me! Glad to be back and hope you enjoy what's to come (we even make chuckle brothers jokes in a few episodes time 🤣)
brilliant, who doesn't love a bit of father son banter. Great to see you back on, looking forward to the series
Thanks! We're glad to be back and it was quite the road trip we went on. Hope you enjoy what's to come 😊
Good to see you and your Dad back on the road together with the usual banter.

Nice to see someone riding a Deauville 650.😀👍
I wouldn't have it any other way 😊
Thanks for watching Malcolm and hope you tune in for more 👍

Haha….fantastic, you two were so excited like a couple of school girls. I’m looking forward to this, and I’ve no idea where you’re off to

How are you using waze in landscape View? Soon as I turn my phone it goes to the far right and can't see much.

Is there a petrol station near the exit on the french side?

Iggy Pop, The Passenger.
Very impressive! You're like the real life Shazam 👏🤣

I was mostly listening to 90s trance in my lid on the trip🤣
@@tdmguy850 I can imagine you at the Ministry of Sound in 1990!
