@sarthetv want to adress a problem with feral tank so they buff lacerate but when you use lacerate as a tank berserker is completly useless... they need to bring lacerate to leg slot and its fixed... or a feral tank can only use 3 runes at the same time 1 wildstrikes/survival of the fittest 2 survival instinct 3 lacerate/ or 4 berserk mangle... changes are useless

Shadow oil scales with lone wolf %dmg as well as shadow priest and tank lock %dmg. Raptor strike makes your offhand hit too so you can have wildstrikes main hand and shadow oil offhand and get it to proc on every 10sec icd.
Someone also pointed out that Raptor strike is not a normalized instant attack. This is a very old change to things like back stab, sinister strike and Mortal strike.
@@atorrance when an attack is normalized it reduces the importance of having a weapon with the slowest speed as the ability acts as if its casting with a set weapon speed for all players.
whether or not raptor strike becomes normalized, slower weapons will always be better for instant abilities (assuming dps is equal between the weapons). At the moment raptor strike does not have a normalized attack speed, meaning the damage of the weapon is being multiplied by the speed of the weapon to calculate what the weapon should hit. After normalization this weapon speed modifier will just always stay at the same speed, 2.4 for non-dagger 1h weapons. So instead of weapon speed affecting hits, only the weapons damage stats will affect damage. With that being said, slower weapons have higher damage numbers so even when they are normalized they still hit harder.
If you are pvping as melee hunter, should claw & bite both be left on auto attack? Obviously aggro isn't a thing in pvp, so higher output and keeping focus in mind is more of a thing.

Where as this is great for "DMG meters" it absolutely sucks for instancing. Gnomer is heavy on the caster side so you are gimping yourself big time. Our first clear was easy and then we all respecced melee and wondered why we kept wiping because ranged hunter is just much more useful for the bosses. Unless you ditch all your warrior and rogues and tell them to go somewhere else which isn't good for guild harmony.
Question Sarthe, in BM why pick improved aspect of the hawk? It would have zero benefit for melee right? it only procs ranged attack speed. Second do you believe that a wolf pet is viable? they can only learn bite but Ferocious Howl increases your party attack on one melee attack from 28-34 with FH rank 2. With the current nerf to Dual Wielding rune would it even matter? I know cats are bis but I haven't seen any video or guide speak of the wolf pet.
Not an expert on this, just started playing this week. But according to the other videos I have seen, Aspect of the Hawk is used because your pet's damage scales off of ranged power. EDIT: this was already covered in the video, whoops.
40+ is going to be interesting for Melee Hunter, especially LW Melee, since there are no talents post 40 that have any damage application. Also Mobility abilities (not harpoon).
I'm not sure about that. If you range weave, MM has some good talents. When your melee abilities are on CD, you can run out, Chimera shot (Assuming Serpent Sting is up), then run back in. It's better on ST than Carve imo.
Feels like a warrior with full rage bar all the time. I even been tanking all 5 man instances as melee hunter from when I did get the runes at level 32
If they nerf Raptor Strike in any way and don't touch Priest at all they are high as a pair of giraffe nuts. They should NEVER be nerfing things for PvE content, only PvP.
I don’t know what you’re specifically asking but the dummy is in shimmering flats in the southwest corner for a warrior rune. The mobs are only level 1 though so not really reliable I don’t think.
Don’t feign death to drop immolation trap. Its a straight up dps loss and meme. Its only good for aoe on 3+ targets with explo trap. Keep it for dropping aggro cuz u will pe pulling a lot.
Anyone else having trouble physically learning Dash and Prowl rank 2? Like I have the pet, I know he has both, I’m just not learning it through beast training.
Can someone explain to me why the mail set is better then the leather set? If i dont sim it, and just go on it with my brain, the leather set is always better ... but everyone is wearing the mail set ... i dont get it

Hunters only weakness was the deadzone now it has become opposite in pvp :D if you go in melee range you get oneshot but from distance u might have a chance to run :D:D

Chimera shot weaving looks like a better alternative to Carving, not only it deals more damage it also refreshes Serpent Sting, so more DPS for free. 0/21/10 probably unbeatable in PvP right now, with amount of control you get and damage from runes it's really hard to beat it. Stun from Concussive Shot, daze from Scatter Shot with Freeze Trap and root from Wing Clip on top of unfair damage.

Hunter is just a class that is not as much gear dependent to do damage like other classes and they should not suffer for it imo. Other classes will catch up as they are getting geared some classes already are so tune down hunters makes no sense really but they probably will anyway cause people whine that hunters are to strong. I just pray they don't kill hunters again like they did in phase 1 when they finally gets something right. It is nice that developers listen to feedback but you should not always do that.

What is the point of putting points into Trap talents if you never use Traps? You need Trap launcher to use them in combat, and that rune shares a slot with Dual wield spec.
If youre 40 and a hunter enjoy it. No reason to level one for this. Less than a week and the nerfhammer will bonk hunters again. Everyone who played phase 1 knows xD
Orcs should still use axes. For prebis use force of the hippogryph and the lvl 32 green of the tiger for only a few gold. Much better than these swords.
Bruh force of the hippogryph is insanely difficult to get, I did the entire quest chain all the way up to mountain giant museik and that quest is impossible to beat solo. I got the giant down to half health before it killed my pet and shit all over me. I brought 2 other hunters and they bitched out when they saw they were lvl 50 elites. I did some reading and saw there is a quest from an NPC goblin that gives you a shrink ray, making them easier to kill, however when I tried starting that quest the npc turned me away saying he shouldn't have opened a shop there. 😢😢
@@devwork247 ya that quest requires 45 it’s doable if you can get help. Sorry I forgot most people don’t play in guilds. There is another good boe main hand lvl 35 axe that I’m currently using while I wait for my guild to come help me. But that will probably be used all phase.

Especially since the bears advantage of 0,075 is amplified with flanking strike. Is it something that im missing here? Got the numbers from petopia btw. This is also not accounting for the better HP and armor of the bear. Not going to be super relevant for raiding but still a nice benefit. The big problem is leveling the bear since it starts at level 6-7.
@@DiakosDelvin wait, my thinking doesnt make sense here. It should be 1,1/0,91=1,208=1,21 So the cat deals 21% more dps not accounting for flanking strike. So does flanking strike with the resets from raptor strike make up for the 21% deficit. Probaly not considering the bear only deals about 4% more damage per hit. To account for the 21% dps loss from just regular pet attacks you would need to flanking strike 21/4=5,25 times per basic pet attack. That isnt going to happen. So yeah, the cat is actually better.
I had to stop playing sod last week they just arent giving enhancement shaman enough love it deserves, they only made the tanking and elemental good. I cant get into any raid groups for the new gnomer raid because enhancement shamans are just very useless in terms of damage and especially now since druids have windfury. I wish they gave two hand enhancement a bit more than what it has and It's sad to see enhancement dps in the low tier just like original classic compared to all these other classes, especially melee hunter ); thought sod would change that. RIP Enhancement dps.

in the case of /targetenemy, the [noharm] after makes it so it only targets an enemy if *your current target is friendly* :)
@hillerstorm Thank you very much. Does it mean, that it won't target an enemy, if I don't currently have a friendly target? It's hard to believe, because it is not often so, that I will target an enemy and have a friendly target bevore pressing the Makro.
Wouldnt the 2,5 attack speed bear be the best pet if we want slower attack speed?
the lower 0,9 dmg multiplier for bear vs cats 1,1 eats the advantage and worsens regular per auto-attacks.

It seems as though its still better with the 2,5 attack speed bear. Especially since the bears advantage of 0,075 is amplified with flanking strike. Is it something that im missing here? Got the numbers from petopia btw.
This is also not accounting for the better HP and armor of the bear. Not going to be super relevant for raiding but still a nice benefit. The big problem is leveling the bear since it starts at level 6-7.
@@DiakosDelvin wait, my thinking doesnt make sense here. It should be 1,1/0,91=1,208=1,21 So the cat deals 21% more dps not accounting for flanking strike. So does flanking strike with the resets from raptor strike make up for the 21% deficit. Probaly not considering the bear only deals about 4% more damage per hit. To account for the 21% dps loss from just regular pet attacks you would need to flanking strike 21/4=5,25 times per basic pet attack. That isnt going to happen. So yeah, the cat is actually better.

None, definitely easier to level as BM and have your pet tank for you.
I had to stop playing sod last week they just arent giving enhancement shaman enough love it deserves, they only made the tanking and elemental good. I cant get into any raid groups for the new gnomer raid because enhancement shamans are just very useless in terms of damage and especially now since druids have windfury. I wish they gave two hand enhancement a bit more than what it has and It's sad to see enhancement dps in the low tier just like original classic compared to all these other classes, especially melee hunter ); thought sod would change that. RIP Enhancement dps.
