Another dci transcription, This one was a headache do (the time signature kept changing to much) but I tried my best, enjoy! Sheet music: musescore.com/user/35262893/s...
honestly the recording makes them sound like they’re in 6th grade learning mellophone, but sometimes i recorded myself and i sound like this too. These guys are the best in the world so recording just makes things worse
You mean the mf? If you don’t know that means metzo forte which is essentially a quieter forte but not at a piano. That’s the best way I would describe it
You’re describing dynamics. Mezzo-Forte is a (very loosely defined) volume level. Intonation is the accuracy of pitch. But yeah the intonation could’ve been better. A little shaky, but considering how much these guys are moving, not bad.
common sense (none of it)
This whole show is a mello feature
+drums
One of the best dci shows ever with a legendary mello section. Great job.
even LSU trombones were impressed by this volume
Mello moment
Cooma la la cooma la la
Whats the song at the very beginning?
@widebodiede30 The first piece in this video was Journey to the Centre of the Earth by Peter Graham.
4:37 that ding hurt my soul
It’s amazing how amazing they sound on the hard stuff and how bad they sound on the easy stuff. It’s almost like it was written that way.
Guess what they practice most. ;)
Ah yes. Babylon. The show when Drum Corps International peaked in quality. (My opinion)
YES!!!! YOU NEVER MISS!!!
amazing job man, keep it up! The only thing is that you didn't transcribe the voicelines/callouts
best show of all time
casually includes metropolis 1927

@@tyronium2 do u never sound bad in a recording? people buy mics worth thousands of dollars that make them sound how they actually sound
Words cannot describe how much I love you bby:)
THANK YOU SO MUCH ILY
I LOVE YOU THANK YOU
Very nice
In what world will the mello part be transcribed to trumpet... but still the mello part
Bro this is so true, the amount of times I try to transpose mellophone parts is insane 😂
funnily enough, weeks later after making this comment, I switched to Mellophone LOL@@user-pm1xt6xi7x if you can't beat them... join
Ok hear me out. You made scv 2018 in reverse. Time to transcribe it??? At least my body in a cage. That baritone duet backwards is something else

Journey to the Center of The Earth by Peter Graham
As well as Metropolis 1927 by Peter Graham in the show
Why were the the rips at the beginning writen as three note phrases instead of glissandi?
I assume easier to measure the duration of each note.
7:09 the mosquito buzzing in my ear

Is it bad I like the hebron mello part more...? 😂
