So basically over 4 years you will have "lost" close to 70 lakhs. + Insurance and + servicing (unless you have taken the BSI plan). Excluding the fuel. BMW offers to buy it back for 37 lakhs because they are basically saying the vehicle has depreciated by 55% in 4 yrs. Which is par for the course for vehicles like this, but they are going to sell it for 45lakhs + in their second hand approved plan.
It's a stupid financial decision unless you have afford to loss that depreciation without much cost to your finances.

If you don't have 20-30cr, then buying an almost 1cr car is an extremely stupid descision.
According to rule if you earn X then you can afford a car worth x/2
My dad has assets north of 100crs but the most he spent on a car is 40 lks.
I would rather say atleast 50cr in total including assets. Nothing lesser than that for sure.

The first video of any good youtuber shows the innocence of the person and makes the person feel relatable to the general public and when the youtuber grows and get more and more subscriber . The youtuber improves in his way of speaking , in his production of the video and also change in his lifestyle but one thing that the person loses after the transition from a small youtuber to a big youtuber is the relatable factor and also the middle class reality too but I m having following sriman for the past 5-6 years and he stills maintains the relatability factor even though there is alot of change in his lifestyle . That's why youtuber like him should be promoted and also such a sensible guy in guiding the audience in the right direction . I remember he was talking about the bmw in some other video and totally advice the audience that if you have the money then only people such luxury cars and not to fall into the social media of every youtuber buying an luxury think about you financial conditions first all such things make him feel more relatable .

Yes, he can't. Since there will be a hypothecation in RC Book. RTO won't allow transfer. But it will be a cash to cash or loan transfer deal.

Actually, I was thinking you bought it by paying full cash. If some of my friends tell me i bought one apple products. I was having a feel of waste of money. Even if I have money to buy one Bmw, I will never go for a new one. Depreciation costs matters to me. In your case you have love to machines which I am not having. If somebody wants to have a feel of driving, renting it is better than buying for these models.
I realized a fun fact: everything I buy out of excitement loses its appeal in 1-2 months. Now, if I'm eager to buy a specific car, I fly to Dubai, rent one, drive it until the excitement fades, and then return it. It is working wonders for me

Hi simran a bit of fact finding - some part in your video you said that you were paying 45k emi for seltos so why not pay 75k emi for x4. Another part in video you said you got 18 lakhs from selling your seltos, it means you had put up 18lakhs upwards then why were you paying an emi of 45k. If you are paying an emi of 45k on seltos that would mean you have put up approx 3-4 lakhs on the top model rest being financed. Selling your seltos would need you to square off your primary outstanding of approx 15-16 lakhs, so you would be left with approx 2-3 lakhs. How is 18lakh consider as down payment in you x4 buy?
