He's absolutely fantastic,the only other singer of this calibre and age in my opinion is Paul Rodgers of Bad Company.

I now she is not really "Rock" but Karen Carpentar played drums and sang and you can not deny her voice.

That guy is 75, and hardly diminished from when he was 25. I saw Rare Earth back then and one thing stuck - they were so loud my ears rang for a week. Nice drum kit.

Wow! I always thought Peter Rivera of Rare Earth had one of the best voices in Rock/Motown going back to when I first heard his band perform this song back in 1969, but he still sounds incredible today 55 years later. This generation of music artists will NEVER be matched!

My GOD Mr. Rivera is solid. Saw him at a free concert in Charlevoix Michigan about 6 years ago and I could not believe my ears. Now, I'm an old metal head but I never miss the chance to see Mitch Ryder perform and that is why I was at this show. When I heard that some guy named Peter Rivera was on the bill I had NO IDEA that I was going to hear the legendary voice of Rare Earth hammering out these classic rock and roll songs. This guy is incredible!

Back in the 70s, when I heard Get Ready for the first time, I was fortunate enough that this happened in the best and most modern disco in my country. Huge sound! And Pete is so full of energy! Fantastic!
