Installed it myself without any issues. The wifi signal is great even th-cam.com/users/postUgkxE_D_sddGAdiVUKp7PkkmyxO7bRtgqmk5 when the router is located far away. I really enjoy the night vision feature that allows me to see clearly any activity near our house (mostly cars and wild animals). The motion detection is helpful to me as well to monitor what happens on our front.

Maybe I missed the episode where you sourced your water or set up your power, but since you guys are surely off-grid, where does the water come from (for your beautiful shower) and power for all that welding, grinding, painting, repeat...??

We run Eufy security cameras at our home in town, love them easy setup but cost a bit so we add only as we can afford them.
So far they've worked great for us! Definitely easy to set up and it's nice they are solar powered. :)

I can’t get my s40 to stay in position. It keeps flopping downward even though I used Visa grips to tighten the back twist thing. 😩
That's weird! It definitely shouldn't do that. I'd contact Eufy about it.
Do you know if someone breaks in they can just hold the reset button on the camera and it clears the footage?
I'm not sure. I would recommend talking with customer service about that topic.

How big is your property? You won't catch me out at night there testing the cameras with all the bears and cougars around, although I've heard that Oregon cougars are not as bad as Californian bar cougars that can do worse like spend all of your money and give you all sorts of diseases when it pounces.
