It’s based of a poor black family that moves to America in the 50’s-70’s The kid bonds together quite well with a rich white American child. They get forced to move their separate ways since the government believes in White privileges. The boy of colour (lets call him boy 1 and the the other boy 2) holds on to boy 2 with all his might, trying to salvage his indestructible friendship for the last time. As this music plays you see the film fade slowly back to when they were having so much fun and then snapping into reality as the officer try’s to part the desperate boys hands for the last time. The government was taking all children of colour away from their hometowns & away from their loving parents, in order to take them to top secret army base on Ukraine. They do this to train them to fight for America. This is called the Act of America’s Army. It happens every 5 years where all black men who are selected go. Of course boy 1 is chosen. The boys did not part so it shows the officer brutality shooting boy 1. Boy 2 is in shock and can’t perceive what just happened. It shows boy 2 dropping on his knees doing all he can to save the poor and innocent boy. (I’m sorry if some grammatical factors are not on point nor the spelling. I’m only 11 & still learning to enhance my vocabulary. Any tips on the storyline are most definitely welcomed. I’m not planning to write this, I’m just generally interested on what would happen. 🙂)
