I see a lot of people saying live and die by the crits in Greedon which I'm about, but honestly it looked like draws wouldn't hurt considering the hand size and just needing to get units to the board.
Greedon really wants at least 3 draws, the deck is prone to minusing itself and doesn't have much in terms of draw power. Draws both help with card advantage and make for fine Greedon food when you draw them.
This gave me an idea for my greedon deck plan: Ride deck: 1 greedon 1 boshokku 1 gouman 1 taida Main deck: 3 greedon 4 time jarrett 3 boshokku 4 igspeller 4 ashur-da 2 gouman 4 inken 2 gungnram 4 hate dragon 4 stem deviate 2 vanilla crit 2 draw 3 natalia 4 heal 1 dark states overtrigger
Where are the other proxies tho, but honestly just keep making proxies at your pace since I'm just waiting for SD06 EN samples since I have so much good generic cards that they can still make a deck out of it because why not.
Last time he was on, Conor said something about reading or watching something and incorporating it into his strategy and build. What is it this time may I ask. Also great game
Embarrassing as it is, my strategy here was to Crit him to death. Greedon goes off on grade 3 very reliably, so I needed to put him at 4 or 5 damage before he even got there. Starting on turn 4, Greedon slows down enough to pressure it into dying. Unfortunately, I never made it that far in these matches. Triggers at the right times do that.
Gouman's effect was active and even with the Elgar intercept he'd still need to call two cards from hand to fulfill the battledore skill, I just figured that out myself
I have a question. If my opponent use an effect that obliges me to use al least 2 cards from hand to GC, can i use 2 sentinel at the same time or a sentinel and a shield?
You can place 2 sentienls and activate both Or activate 1 Or even activate neither Bottom line is you hare forced to guard with a minimum of 2 cards out of your hand when you want to guard from hand Does that make sense
Greedon in order to restand needs to put 4 standing RGs in to the soul Greedon para restablecer debe poner 4 RG permanentes en el alma (usando el traductor de Google)
In Game 2 the final round Conor could guard that with that Front trigger 20k plus Vg 13k that make 33k, That G2 unit is only 30k. Even if that unit is 40k Conor could still intercept with Elgar +15k and front shield +20k......, He could survive that turn but doesn't guard, am i missing something ? 😅
Gouman's battledore effect was in play so even if he intercepted he'd still need to call from hand. This took me a moment to realise myself until it was brought up lol
I actually do not get why you chose Shadow Leak Magician in this deck. While she seem inticing at first, she does nothing for the deck. Imo she should have been replaced with Direful Doll, Violetta because she can call herself from the soul, thus not eating up your hand, or like in that one turn you only had three rearguards, could make herself be the forth.
I get that and my comment was based on my own playtesting of Greedon. My final(ish) version of Greedon, until he gets further supported which he really needs, I play mostly the same deck you played in this video, only mine is an 12 crit vanguard centric deck that doesn't mind taking damage early and pushing for 6 damage with Greedon as soon as possible. The deck loses hard to stall, though, so I do not recommend draw triggers. Also aggro decks like overdress, Bruce, Bastion and even Baromagnes gives Greedon a bit of a hard time. Either you pressure your opponent hard or they pressure you hard or stalls you out. But thats just my experience.
11-12 crit is too glass cannon for Greedon, even with the new support the deck is still lacking in card advantage. Without any Draws you'll often run into situations where you can't put 4 cards on field to stand Greedon, it actually happened in this fight.
@@elin111 Thats why I said Violetta should have been there instead of Shadow Leak Magician. To minimize that by calling her from the soul. Draws will deck you out sooner, which has happened to me several times. From my play testing, you want to reach 8 soul on your first grade 3 turn, so that when you do Greedon's skill, it puts you 10 at the end with the 15k power boost (6 from soul blast, 10 when you put your 4 rearguards into soul), then continuously pressure your opponent each following turn. Violetta ensures you do not waste as many cards from hand for Greedon, and 11 or 12 crits is because the pressuring comes from the vanguard. Greedon wants to force your opponent to guard big attacks or take the punches while dealing lots of damage. You do not worry about taking attacks until you get to the 5 or 6 damage threshold.
Good sir, grats on the cosplay BUT WHAT KIND OF ANIMAL PLAYS FRONTS WITH GREEDON???????? you literally LIVE, EAT AND BREATHE about hitting crits and OT with Big Daddy. that single RG you got out there, they're just there in case you hit some triggers and pulled off your special g1 (battledore for the rest of turn for all attacks!)
Draws might actually be better, not for extra shield value but rather for having more cards in hand so you can call fodder. The 5k shield doesn't matter because you can call them for Greedon food.
Yes, we know it got some good support yesterday.
Let's hope that means more gredon proxy play
Definitely

Front triggers seem like a very interesting choice imo. I guess it's to have the defensive power primarily because 20k guard good.
Its good defence card
Can be good for guarding
Love that you did an outfit for the occasion! "Hats off to you" lol

Greedon theming is so darn good...
When we found it we knew, this is it!
In the last play why did he defend with a perfect guard + a 15k shield? Shouldn't the PG be enough or is there a rule I'm missing?
More then likely the G1 went to soul and caused 2 or more from hand for that turn
wait was he not able to intercept with Erger or guard with the 20k front trigger to survive the 30k double crit during the second game?
The grade 1 was activated that forced him to call with minimum 2 cards from hand
