Hey Greg loved the video. I'm originally from Brazil and I use to work in this brazilian burger place in New Jersey and over there we also have our own way of making burgers too. I can't quite find any Americans who really like it but maybe you will. Check it: Ground beef chuck lettuce tomatoes thin potato sticks mayo corn all in one burger. Occasionally, by request, people will have a fried egg or fried onions on it with a special sauce. The special sauce I could never quite get the recipe because it is really good but it does taste a lot like thousand island dressing with a few added ingredients.
This looks like an awesome remedy for hangovers! Never tried beetroot on a burger though, and us swedes loves beetroots almost as much as we love lingonberries. Looks good, so I might trie a few beetrots the next time I´m in the mood for a burger! Thanks for the tip Grego!:D
Jeez, I have so much to say :D First, THANKS FOR POSTING THIS. Why? Well, decades ago (80s?) my cousin visited AU and came back and told us about burgers in Australia and how they make them "with a lot" and so we put eggs and other stuff on ours. Since then I forgot the story, but then referred to them as "Lotta Burger", but NOW my memory has been redeemed, so thank you! :D Also....... SESAME SEED buns! Those are the best, man. There are to channels I look forward to for fun burger videos, and that is YOU and Ballistic BBQ. Makes me so hungry even when I'm not - so, today, it's BURGER day for sure :D :D :D Thanks dude.
You have a separate category on my playlists! I absolutely love watching your videos! I was shocked to see a recipe from you last night but didn't include buddaaahhhh!
GREAT looking Burger Greg! I love an egg on my burger plus tomatoes, mayo & lettuce the basics of course. Nice video & love the reaction after your bite! TFS & hope you had a great weekend! :D
I love Australia that is my type of burger love it I think I am going to try to make that in here over here we have something called Canadian bacon it's similar to what you have there I like that burger
Love it Greg..here in Canada we call it a burger with the works...but I guess we're not as imaginative as u Aussies cause our works is just ketchup, mustard, relish and tried onion...i don't know if I'd be adventurous enough to put the egg on it but I love the idea of pineapple and beets. sweet and tangy...yummmm ... is it pickled beet root though?
*fried onion plus it looks like your bacon is just like our Canadian bacon more like a ham consistency....good without all that grease but oh still oh so yummy
That is one good looking burger!! Sure as heckfire beats anything McD has...I've never tried beets on a burger before..I must try this..I've not eaten pickled beets in forever.
People, don't freak out about the pineapple - it is no different than a Ham and Pineapple Pizza, one of my favorites! I have had pickled beets on a burger but am looking forward to having it with the grilled pineapple too.... mmmm... drooling!
Have never thought about beets as a burger topping.... I love pickled beets. The Bbq sauce I could live without, and fed passing on the pineapple. I love pineapple, just not in a hot dish ....
"I'm going to add cheese because ... cheese"
Life motto right there xD
With the lot has to have cheese :)
Believe me Greg, I will indeed make myself an Aussie burger with the lot. Hell yeah, that looked very satisfying.

In Victoria, pineapple is optional in a hamburger with the lot. Good job Greg.

in eastern Canada that is
really good meal 👍
Yum, nice one. I do the same + toast the buns
True Greg looks amazing nothing like the home made hamburger bro🍔
Greg that looks yummy
That's what I'm talking about !...👍
Something similar in the states..called Chicken Littles.. a extra crispy tender on a dinner roll..
Perfect ☺ we have homemade hamburgers about once a fortnight and they go down a treat 🍔🍔🍔 yum😀
Hey what's up guys it's scarce here

Nice one Greg!!
word
Pro tip Greg: when grilling onions add a spinkle of chicken salt or chicken bouillon powder.
It will kick your burger to 11 out of 10.
Hey that’s pretty good!
That is one good looking burger!! Sure as heckfire beats anything McD has...I've never tried beets on a burger before..I must try this..I've not eaten pickled beets in forever.
give it a crack
People, don't freak out about the pineapple - it is no different than a Ham and Pineapple Pizza, one of my favorites! I have had pickled beets on a burger but am looking forward to having it with the grilled pineapple too.... mmmm... drooling!
Do it. Its an Aussie classic. Very yummy.
Thumbs up for everything except the beetroot!
Me too! I don't like beetroot.
but you cant beat a root (Aussie joke)
Nope it MUST have beetroot!!
Speak for yourself!
yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... i have to try this tonight..
make me one while you're at it!
Damn that was THE best burger ever..
that look amazing greg!!!
i sure do
Mmm that burger looked tasty and you seemed very impressed. You're a very handsome young lad too.
Cool.
normally you'd use sliced cheese, and put it direcfly on top of the burger patty
Exactly plus you'd toast the bun so it doesn't go soggy. It's almost a proper Aussie burger. I'm not a fan of pineapple but many are.
Beetroot is what makes it! There's a lunch bar up the road that makes a killer burger with the lot but it's $14 worth it still!
that is one hangover snack
That's a niceth bracethlet you had back then GregO.
On ya Greggo! Gotta have Beetroot!
You've made me hungry.
Looks good. Unhealthy and healthy simultaneously, which is the beauty of it.
Hello Gregg from Arizona, USA! I'm going to the kitchen to make one, but what kind of cheese did you use?
Cheddar cheese. We usually use sliced cheese but he might not have had any. Mozzarella might work as well.
All good
good one☺
Have never thought about beets as a burger topping.... I love pickled beets. The Bbq sauce I could live without, and fed passing on the pineapple. I love pineapple, just not in a hot dish ....
the best burger i ever had was from oz, fresh as anything with egg on top
That's a classic
I will come over and taste test that for sure :D
