- Forgot to edit in the video- the 3/8” torque wrench is in in-lbs. The correct value to torque to if using in-lbs is 240 in-lbs. Best bet Is to find a ft-lbs torque wrench!
Parts needed:
-OEM Toyota PCV P/N: 12204-31110
-AutoZone 3/8” adjustable torque wrench P/N: 57173
-3/8” extension
-9mm deep socket
-Breaker bar

Nice video, thanks. I would suggest putting a thread sealer on the first few threads of the new PVC valve like Toyota recommends. Threebond 1324 or Loctite blue (242)
Thank you! I’ll keep that in mind!
They gave you an inch pounds torque wrench. Max is 200 inch pounds on that torque wrench but you need 240 inch pounds. Or just tighten it tight.
Yea I forgot to add that in the video when I was editing it. When I torqued it down at 20 lbs I noticed it was far too “light” and then came to the realization it was inch-pounds vs ft-pounds. That’s why I accidentally referenced inch pounds in one of the sections and added a caption overhead. Ohh well!
