Returning contenders like 2003 125cc MX champ Grant Langston, 125cc sophomore Davi Millsaps, Josh Hansen, 125cc rookie Josh Grant, Matt Walker, Troy Adams, Joaquim Rodrigues, 2003 champ Branden Jesseman, 2004 U.S. Open 125cc winner Greg Schnell, and others battle it out for the 2005 THQ 125cc East AMA Supercross Championship. Grant Langston and Josh Hansen end up tied in points with Hansen winning and Langston finishing in 4th, but Langston is awarded the championship with his 3 wins to Hansen's 2 -- Pro Circuit Kawasaki's first 125cc East title since Ricky Carmichael's perfect 1998 season. SoBe Samsung Honda's Joaquim Rodrigues finishes on the podium for the first time ever in his career.
