Yes! I’m 13 years and 3 months older than my husband and we met when he was 26 and I was 39. We now have19 year old son and been together 21 years! Still very happy! He treats me like Gold!!💜🌈💜

I adore Philp and the main sterling quality I recognize in him is his soft, kind & loving heart. He is a throwback to olden times when men were gentlemen; when men were chivalrous; when men possessed lovely manners. All these qualities, Philip does possess. He knows more about things than some 60 or 70 year old men.

One question I'd like to ask Stephanie (even though this vid is a year old) is about her families relationship with Gerald.
How on earth does he keep his strong Scottish accent?
It's one thing that channel 4 have him wearing tartan for filming and him getting 'into character' when ch4 are there but I've heard him talking in his strong accent in the background of things filmed on "Lalande Cam"
From what I can gather is that Gerry's mum worked for Stephanie's parents at the nursing home and that Gerry lived there with his mother and has been rather like an older brother to Stephanie.
So, I've done a little bit of research and found that Gerry lives/runs a taxi company from the village where Ed Sheeran owns quite a few properties so I don't know how Scotland comes into his life.
I came here from Chateau DIY so have only ever known of Philip as Stephanie's boyfriend. He is a wonderful soul.

Stephanie, you have so much courage in confronting this head on. It's no one's business. But, great news and you deserve every happiness.
She had to have courage because she said she was scared. She was hesitant to share this in an unfortunately judging world. Imagine how being so open and vulnerable must feel when she’s speaking to a camera and a ring light not knowing until posted what comments she will receive. She care because she’s invested so much of her life in building this channel and relationships with so many of her subscribers and patrons whom she also cares a great deal about. Now she has complete confirmation and validation that she made a great choice to share her life more openly with those whose lives she touches so deeply. And we are so happy for her and for Philip to finally be able to be free, real and unscripted in their interactions, with us.
I'm so sorry that this leak happened. I'm sure this has all been an emotional roller coaster for you having your private life revealed. However, in the typical Stephanie style, you have handled it with class! Bravo Stephanie! I had already guessed and could not be happier for you both!

I’m 11 years older than my husband. It took me much longer than him to accept that it could work and in the end if he doesn’t mind why should I (or anyone else)? Love and happiness sometimes come in strange ways, you have to grab them and enjoy them as you can.
