Disabling Global C-States on CPUs, especially when using Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) or overclocking, is often recommended to improve CPU stability and performance during intensive tasks. Here is why: System Stability: Global C-States are power saving CPU states that allow you to reduce power consumption when the CPU is not fully loaded. When overclocking or activating PBO, frequent switching between power saving and high power modes (C-States) can cause system instability because the CPU is constantly switching between different frequencies and voltages. Better response and performance: When overclocking or using PBO, you want the processor to run at higher frequencies all the time and be ready to respond immediately to demanding tasks. By disabling C-States, you ensure that the processor does not unnecessarily enter power saving modes, which can reduce response time and improve performance under load. Preventing frequency and voltage drop: When Global C-States are enabled, the processor can reduce voltage and frequency at lower loads. However, this can lead to power and overall stability issues during PBO or OC, especially if the processor is not operating optimally with power in these states. So, if you are using PBO or overclocking, turning off Global C-States can improve stability, especially when gaming or demanding tasks where consistent high performance is expected.😀😀😀

@@Hakaluk_BENCHMARK already done everything you tell. Any sugestions? Thank you in advance!
@@jorgearaujo7329 I don't know, everything works fine for me. At first I had problems through the RAM too, but the new BIOS fixed it.
can u use the 0.050 voltage together with the pbo settings?
I haven't tried it, and I don't recommend it!
With the PBO setting as I state in the video the temperatures are also lower by up to -5°C. I am now using only PBO and I am satisfied.
@@Hakaluk_BENCHMARK i did the pbo with a -20 curve so far so good test it with cinebench all versions
@@gordo1271 Great. :-) I think that if I put Curve Otpimizer magnitude: negative -15 that I get better temperatures on the CPU. Tried also -20 and -10, -30 :-) It's pretty easy to win with that. Or leave the Scalar "10x" on "Auto". Thanks for the support.
@@Hakaluk_BENCHMARK ur pbo settingsi n -20 curve optimizer instead of 15 have u try 20 or 30? n what are the gains n loss?
@@gordo1271 It looked pretty much the same to me when I tried it.
Hi.. I never enter bios on my b650m mortar wifi... I try hdmi also dp but i cant succed... Can you suggest something please?
Hi. After restarting the PC, press the "Delete" key.
Alternatively, try another monitor or connect the PC to the TV.
@@Hakaluk_BENCHMARK yes i always try pressing del key but nothing happen... I cant solve the issue...
@@kartal2339 Try plugging the HDMI/DPI into a different location on the graphics.
Just tried undervolting and after getting to 1:42 in the video and restarting, the pc won’t boot now just got the cpu and dram lights and waiting for over 30 minutes
So take the battery out for 10 min, and next time follow the instructions exactly!
@@Hakaluk_BENCHMARK this has happened to me also, after a fresh windows install/crash :/
@@jaybalancegaming unfortunately you never know with AMD. I already use only PBO 2:41 u,se that too, it's better. you will have better performance and lower temperatures. otherwise my computer starts up in 20 seconds.
Whats the bootup time with new bios?
It usually takes me 20 seconds
@@Hakaluk_BENCHMARK MCR auto?
@@AmirAl-Haque So it's probably been almost a minute, but I don't remember, but I know it used to be much worse.
não entendi qual versão da bios usar?
@@rangelssantos so it's best to have a new bios version
@@Hakaluk_BENCHMARK Fiz e deu tela azul 😞
@@rangelssantos It works for everyone
For r7 7700x please?
I use the same for the R5 7500F. So you'll be fine too.😀
Perfect, pc posts/boots in under 20 seconds now LOL
Yes, mine too in 20 seconds :-) Thx
Whats the lowest curve optimizer for you like as general not your cpu? I get told it can go down to -60 and now i hear -50
Ideal is -15 or -20. I'd give a max of -30.
