One of the most comprehensive overviews of Guanajuato that I've seen. Your gentle demeanor and voice are a refreshing change from other videos. Muchisimas grácias !
El video más hermosa de mi segundo ciudad natal. Mi esposa y yo tenemos propiedades en la ciudad de Guanajuato. Pasamos much tiempo allí. We plan to be moving there when our building project is finished. Again a great video thanks!

Thank you for your insights. I happen to be a backpacker and will be traveling to Guanajuato come this weekend. I'm looking forward to spending a few weeks getting lost in the alleyways.🙂
Guanajuato, the capital of the state with the same name, is a picturesque city in central Mexico celebrated for its rich history, vibrant culture, and stunning colonial architecture. Nestled in a valley surrounded by hills, Guanajuato's narrow, winding streets and tunnels give it a unique and enchanting character. The city played a crucial role in Mexico's War of Independence and is home to the iconic Alhóndiga de Granaditas. Its historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is filled with colorful buildings, charming plazas, and significant landmarks like the Juárez Theater and the University of Guanajuato. The city is also famous for the annual Cervantino Festival, which attracts artists and performers from around the world. Guanajuato's blend of historical significance, cultural vibrancy, and natural beauty makes it a captivating destination for visitors and a cherished home for its residents. Great video, Wander Yonder!
Living here becomes a love hate relationship. It's wonderful here. It has a good climate great architecture and museums. Music in the streets and the bars goes on constantly. Lots of cool interesting people live here. The problems are mainly related to the over tourism killing it.Tourists are often really dismissive of the residents and stay up at night drunken and screaming, revving their engines in the small stone roadways echoes through the streets. Drunks are often pissing anywhere and tossing their trash everywhere.
Guanajuato is one of my favourite cities in Mexico, but I can appreciate that it can be a love/hate relationship for many who live there, especially when tourists are disrespecting your beautiful city. Thanks for sharing your local perspective!

Gracias por tu video. Hay una frase que decía uno de los famosos cantantes en México "Solo Guanajuato es bello"
What a great video. We''re moving to Mexico in December and Guanajuato is high on the list of places to spend some extended time in.
