Yes the annual mean temperature range of savanna is 6 degrees. Your Previous doubt: Highest temperatures do not coincide with the period of the highest sun (e.g. June in the northern hemisphere) but occur just before the onset of the rainy season, i.e. April in Northern Hemisphere and October in Southern Hemisphere. For this the answer is - In May and June in Northern Hemisphere the sun is overhead and the ITCZ lies over the region. The months may be cloudy and rainy. So temperature is lower compared to that in April when the sky is clear.
ty sir for vedios... plz clear these doubts. 1 . if annual range of temperature is 20 f , whats it in degree celsius. 2 why hottest month in savanna are april and october and not june and jan .
+Aditya I mean India has three 3 seasons - summer dry, winter dry and rainy wet. Savanna has 2 seasons - summer wet, winter dry. So there is no distinct rainy season in savanna climate. Rains coincides with summer. But in India we have a distinct rainy season.
+pmf ias yes its c9ming -6 I did that...does it mean that range is 6 degree celsius....and in kano the hottest mnth is april not june sir...that I am asking sir , why
Range may be 6 degree celcius. Not really sure about Farenheit scale. Where is it given in Farenheit Scale?? Kano is on 12 degree N latitude and sun is overhead in April. And hottest month depends not only on Suns positions but also local factors like Cloudiness, precipitation etc.
Great work brother, thank you soo much
Excellent explanation sir..you make this boring topic look so interesting and easy to grasp..thank you so much..

Use Fahrenheit to Celsius converter in google. 20 F = -6.66 C
Savanna is in Southern Hemisphere!
Sir, India does have a distinct rainy season :) Very good narration though

Sir, can i know the software used for the simulation of ITCZ?
They are power point slides. You can use some sort of Gif creators to achieve the same.
Thank you for the reply sir. Your videos have been of great help. If its not too much to ask, could you please share the power point slides.
