- Found this projector free of cost without a lamp so I going to install LED light source instead of buying an expensive lamp. But before that we need to fool the projector by sending fake signal to the motherboard to keep it turn on without light source.
Are there certain values I can look for with a multimeter to find what conductors to short together?

i byepassed the optocoupler (by cutting the 2wires and shorted them together) and projector went ""ON"". (infocus IN102, the power board looks exactly as yours !) But few minutes later it went off (indicating """NO LAMP"""). i didnot try with led lamp can u mail me what to do

I think you are a great man in history who said to me a good decision. Therefore, i have eLUX EX2010 (three lcd projector), lamp high voltage are not making by board due to hidden fault. Can i adopt your keen method? i.e shown in your video.
Is it the same for NEC ? Logic board looks the same.

Reset lamp hours. Also there is a thermal cut off switch inside which has to be reseted aswell

tengo un dilema con mi proyector epson s12+, ya la vida util de la lampara culmino y me gustaria ponerle una lampara led, he visto muchos foros y videos donde hablan de los famosos optoacopladores y el corto circuito entre en cable rojo y marron, pero e mi caso no funciona. llevo dias tratando de engañar la board y no he podido. me seria muy util su ayuda por favor. gracias

@Arnaldo Echenique yo identifique los cables correctamente en el diagrama del optoacoplador, pero al cerrar el circuito me arroja error de sensores, debe hacer falta algo o la señal es en pulsos y por esto no se logra bloquear ... yo tengo un epson powerlite x14
