The moment where Dwight had begun to turn on Michael and it was justified.
This was one of the sadder moments for me when this had happened because Dwight was such a loyal and reliable confidant to Michael and he took him for granted. After Dwight snapped at Michael for trying to defend him, he lost all respect for his manager and pretty much acted cold and petty towards him. I'm glad they made up near the end, but for an entire season or so it was very unsettling to see them interacting with each other with Dwight giving negative quips to Michael.

Dwight is zealously loyal and obedient to Micheal because this is the archetype of the boss-employee relation to him. This is how he wishes to be served should he be boss. This is my favorite “Michael themed” episode. He really deserved this.
That's actually why this is one of my least favorite episodes. The plot is so messy and inconsistent. Like the beginning of the episode focuses on Dwight and how his fire drill stunt caused the office to go through safety training again. But then, out of nowhere, the episode suddenly starts focusing on Michael and everyone doing this roasting session talking about how much they despise him. Dwight's storyline is then completely forgotten about and never mentioned again. What happened? It honestly feels like the writers randomly decided to change the plot of the episode when they were halfway through writing it. Am I the only one who noticed this?

Like I said, it feels like the writers just randomly decide to change the plot of the episode when they were halfway through writing it. Once it shifts to focusing on Michael, it felt like we jumped into the plot of a completely different episode
@superjackster0165 all I heard was facts. I legit keep on forgetting that these aren’t different episodes because of the writing. This roast could’ve been better if it didn’t come out of nowhere and the entirety of the episode just revolved around Dwight and not Michael

this scene shows us that Dwight doesnt consider michael as a good boss. Dude no Emmy could define Carrell and Scott
He really has a way of expressing internal pain
Whatever you say, Michael deserved that roast from Dwight.
He deserved that roast from everyone lmao
Yea he deserves ALLLL of it!
@@TheSuperNats he still the best character in the show
@@liabw05 he the best boss and character i have cme across till now tho
hEWssain if you consider Michael a good boss I really wonder what kind of bosses you’ve had in real life or what kind of boss you’d be yourself. There’s a reason they all hate him at the office.
This was stress relief for the audience as well. As fun as a character as Micheal is, he is a nightmare. The way even Dwight snapped at him.
Michael not being able to think of another name besides “Jefferson” always makes me laugh
Only for him to have the same name 🤣🤣 can't believe I didn't see that coming 😅 gold!
3:57. The fact that Jim looked at the camera while smiling when they said Roy left years ago killed me. 😂😂😂
Pam was like "years"?
A Sh yeah lol
When you binge the office, it’s like two days ago.
@@arkay238 even in office terms though it’s only like 2 or 3 years when “years” tends to imply more than that
Jim and Roy later went on to slay dozens of jihadist. True story. They made a movie about it.
"Stanley tried to die just to get away."
One of my favorite lines in the whole show!
same 😂😂
That was utterly brilliant!
Who said that?
@@maiaheredia3256 Andy, in his song
Dwight’s “are you calling me an idiot?!” was so heartfelt 💔 2:37
"you didn't have any friends" ouch that one hurts the most for Michael
“You pathetic short little man. You don’t have any family or friends or land.”
That was a sudden turn from Dwight...
Yo también aplaudi en ese momento
Oscar: I think I'm basically a good person, but I'm going to try to make him cry.
Also Oscar: *roasts Michael in Spanish
There’s a deleted scene with him roasting him in English
*cries in Spanish*
Oscar went off on him

2:32 is brutal, pam's roast was nice too.
Underrated here is Angela simply and only saying "I normally don't enjoy making people laugh."
I love how at 4:16 Angela is head bobbing a little, then she notices the camera and immediately stopped
She was actually enjoying something Andy was doing....... my god 😳
omg it's really the little things in this show omg
Good eye! Yeah the actors do a good job of staying in character whether or not they are going to be in the shot. I like that commitment.

@Table-Country pinxing THRYM Firearms 27 What he means by the Grabowski wedding lol who's he referring to? Just some random person with that last name?
"I am a performer and perform I shall."

The person who admired Michael the most ended up roasting him the hardest.
2:25 I've watched the Office several times and I keep thinking this is the exact time Dwight stopped putting Michael on a pedestal so much. After he tell hims what's on his mind, things never go back to the way they were. Dwight keeps being his right hand, but he's now much more aware of the mistakes Michael makes.
perfect observation! Never noticed until now and I've researched twice!
*rewatched
@@jaquaraolivialawton10 For me this is *the* breaking point in which he stops seeing himself as inferior to Michael.
he broke..its how he always felt..dwight from like season 2 on hates mike...
@@razkable He does not. He still feels admiration for him, but he's much more self aware of what he has, or would have to do to be like him or in his position as a regional manager.
Dang this is Michaels second hardest roast, other than that time he roasted his foot on the George Foreman grill
Burned his foot
Tyrone Biggums roasted his foot it’s the joke
Tyrone Biggums but he likes his bacon in bed!! What's a man to do! 😂
Poor Michael... I mean, the warehouse's Michael
The fact that the warehouse had name tags and Michael still couldn’t even guess his name.
I love how Michael is just an embodiment of human drama. Everything he does he does based on what he saw on TV , even his little mannerisms like when Jim begin telling his joke and he just randomly said “ I know where this is going “ just because he saw someone said it on TV is sooo fucking hilarious his character is made to play that role ..
The burger comeback and the grabowski joke too, can tell he just heard them on a show 😅
Oh so maybe he is a commentary on people that watch shows like this and pretend they are very deep or over analyze them, so basically he got the last laugh.
@@Kanovskiy Making an observation that someone models their entire personality after what they see on TV and overanalyzing a character are two different things. Your comment, for example, is overanalysis, snarky and condescending to make yourself look smarter than everyone here. The irony.
Like a kid 😭
His character is made to play that role? I dont know...
Love the way how Dwight went to defend Micheal and ended up insulting him the best!!!
I’ve always been bothered by that moment. Why would Michael call Dwight an idiot? He should’ve been happy that someone was still defending him and sticking up for him
"Stantey tried to die just to get away" was golden
1:37 - I love this callback to a couple seasons before Michael took a picture of Meredith after she took off her clothes in his office.
Anybody else who would've wanted to hear what Toby was gonna say about Michael?
"You created me Michael, you did this to yourself. You are the primary reason we even need an HR department. All the "stupid rules", were created in response to stupid things that you did. In fact, if it wasn't for me you wouldn't even have a job because there would be no legal protection to shelter you from your own idiocy. And now as a tribute I would like to have David Wallace and his son join me on stage to perform My Own Worst Enemy by Lit
Probably what everyone said in the roast becase he wrote this episode.
@@mimiimene521 LMAO

BOOM, roasted!
Dwight's major insult was telling Michael he had no land...I felt that..I don't have any land either and it sucks
“If you put sunblock on a window, you might be Micheal Scott.”
That was a good roast
