Gavin Bridwell either work. Both C major scale and A minor scale have the same notes since the A minor scale is the relative minor to the C major scale. :)

And one of them is because they have exceptionally met my dreams, and they make me strive to push with them. This is me, I'm Purotekutā - プロテクター (Protector, the meaning of Liam in Nihongo)
@Dumakalem What's with the "lol"? I thought his comment was pretty inspiring actually. They pour their heart out and thank him for the inspiration and you laugh at him? Wow.
Great video! But could you possibly make another video going more in depth about how you made the chord stacks? I’m still a bit new to serum so it was a bit hard for me to understand how you made them especially when the footage was sped up so much. Thanks
You can try using a saw on osc1 and a square/pulse on osc2, link the level to LFO, draw a rhythm using the LFO to create a basic future/kawaii bass chord sound(remember to choose the trig mode and the right speed of the LFO).
that's literally the method; you saw the entire process. no magic spells or secret recipes, just good ol' "what if I make the stairs go up haha" and anything else you want to try, if it sounds good it's good
0:20 Immagine. You are chilling at your desk in a saturday evening during winter with some hot chocolate setting the SIDECHAIN FOR YOUR FUTURE BASS TRACK. You don't have a single problem, everything is good.
Abuse the Hell out of 7th and 9th chords is a good starting point. I'd also suggest trying slash chords to spice things up a bit. As for melodies, stick to note that are part of the chord that is currently playing. Of course, you can step outside of these notes to catch the listener off guard and make it little more interesting.
god level skills are usually attained only after leveling those skills for a long time, and this video is like "start here at the staircase thing to skip trash mobs and get faster xp" which is perfect

I don't have any of the plugins that cost money so my sounds don't come out well... But in any case, thanks a bunch! Could you do a tutorial about your sound design techniques for this genre in depth? I can only use stock plugins so seeing how you make your sounds could help a bit, Thanks ^-^

How do you deal with high CPU usage from so many instances of serum? Also, the second chord you made, how did you manage to get the pitch a little bendy?
vJDiZZ first, he most likely had a good computer, but if u have a low end one, then you can render the MIDI as a wav, second, I think he put a little bit of glide on that plugin
How do you make the sound at 5:20? I'm following so far but I'm stuck. I am talking about the 3 notes in a row, they're detuned and sounds really nice.
I was sort of able to replicate it by putting the CRS (pitch bend??) on the modwheel then using ableton to automate it. I have no idea what I'm doing but it sort of sounds the same and that makes me happy.

Yes, finally a C major Chord Progression.
The chord progression is not in c major, rather A minor. (usefull bit of music theory)
Noob First Class A minor is the minor relative to C Major
Noob First Class yeah we are saying the same thing, I just said it a little bit more with theory terms.
Gavin Bridwell either work. Both C major scale and A minor scale have the same notes since the A minor scale is the relative minor to the C major scale. :)
