It's a beautiful home.
Do you miss the 8 foot ceiling heights of a 1960s tract home? Did you ever wish that you had to climb a tight metal spiral staircase in the middle of your master bathroom to get to your primary retreat? Have you ever walked into an 8000 sqft house's kitchen, saw the expansive entertainment space but thought "damn, 8 burners is just too overkill to entertain my massive parties, let's do 6 burner to save money?" Have you ever wished that your private home theater was actually a through space instead of it's own separate room?
If the answer is yes, then Drift is the house for you, for the the very low price of $10M.
The 8' ceilings are unfortunate, but it is due to the building height restrictions of the community.
Spot on. This house is very flawed especially at that price point.
Here’s another example of an over priced Blue heron home. It’s like the only houses they know how to build are office buildings converted to homes. They use an abundance of cheap cabinets and materials yet call them premium. The house you see in this video has zero curb appeal just like most of their offerings. Here’s another example of the cost cutting measures they fool you with. They used a Honeywell thermostat when in a house of this price point should be equipped with Crestron control. If I were to build a custom mansion in Vegas, SunWest custom homes would be who I approach first.
Sun West homes are great but last I heard they are only building homes above 10,000 sqft...

Given this particular home leans heavy on the industrial look, not my preference either but one can find things to critique in ANY home. Your comment reads like a great ad for SunWest but sorry, they are Not better than Blue Heron😅. ....and they damn sure don't build and sell more homes than them.
@@paulpaid they don’t build more homes or sell more. That’s because they are all built to the preferences of the buyer. Blue Heron only builds industrial look homes. It’s all they are architecturally capable of.

First the good: Nearly perfect design (not decor or finishes). Well thought out, functional and no wasted spaces. Family focused. Gym and retreat, excellent touches and design.
The bad: easy fix but a mirror as a kitchen backsplash? Uh, no. Cabinets are atrocious, so is that counter. Elevation is not bad, but could be a little better. theater room is not big and proper enough, may be in the wrong location. Elevator in master suite instead of stairs (Asking $10M+, put a $50k elevator, come on). Landscaping needs love. 9ft ceilings need more height or more appeal or both. Price is high. Well priced at $6 - $7M.
Overall, excellent execution by Blue Heron.

Beautiful house. I`m too poor to understand how that theater works, but it looks gorgeous. Do they clean or change stuff to sell this house as "new" ? Because with the amount of people visiting it might get dirty, damaged and accumulate wear and tear. Good job as always
The Theatre will have a drop down screen and the curtains will surround the room on all sides. Blue Heron usually sells their model homes "as-is" but may consider a few minor repairs. Thank you for watching!

3-4 millions dollar maximum
As much as you don't like this home, I assure you that I would personally be the first to buy this home for $4M to resell it right away for a profit.
Worst layout I have ever seen from Blue Heron.
The only good feature is the 7 car garage but the entry is terrible with a water return line sticking out of the wall is absolutely terrible. They really missed it big on this one.

There is nothing breath taking about the house, including the views of everyone's roof !!
These are new area so trees will take time to mature. It could take 5-10 years or so. Thank you for sharing!
The proportions are all off, the length of the rooms in ratio to the ceiling heights create liminal spaces that are melancholy inducing. I noticed it with their "oculus" home, it's a departure from the design philosophy of their earlier builds. Blue Heron is a phenomenal builder but they're better than this, terrible feng shui...
I believe the ceiling heights were due to the building height restrictions. Most Blue Heron Homes have 9/10' ceilings on the first floor and 9' ceilings on the second floor. Than you for sharing!
