It's not off-key. The bass line just didn't start on the root of the key. From what I observed on the melodies the song is in Bb minor. The bass line is starting from F which is the dominant of Bb Minor. It would be much better if the bass line started on Bb which is the root.

I don't know much about sound design!😅... yet. So at the moment I just choose different presets and try to create something cool when they are put together. But yeah that's a great idea for a video, will write it down for sure.

So you will probably not be able to use it, because it is too similar. I don't own the rights to the melodies and so on, so it is not in my control.
