The way Joel looked after Lizzie died, is so sad. He’s just crying and then Jimmy comes over singing and dancing and being happy and then he dies not even 10 minutes later 😭😂
seeing joel go to lizzie's house and seeing it empty felt like a stab to the chest, and then jimmy's last words before the lightning strike? ouch. this is so amazing! i also don't think the canary curse is broken, because the definition of it is that it's a warning of the danger and once jimmy died, mumbo went right after and everything went wrong. lizzie didn't break the curse, she was outside of the world when it happened. and poor jimmy never got to have his party :'( keep up the amazing work!!

The first season scott died close to last when he got 1st 2nd and 3rd after, second season mumbo died right after timmy, 3rd obviously tango died right after tim, season 4 jole died second, and now Martin was frist red with tim when he has been top 5 almost every time.
and if you think about it, all of the canary deaths have been in the overworld, and the first one out in the overworld was still jimmy. actually, I think this was the first final death that's happened in the end.

In Martin’s lore explanation streams he said that Lizzie wasn’t in double or limited life because the watchers didn’t deem her ready. She subbed in for pearl, and I guess that changed the watchers mind, just for a bit. He also said that the watchers don’t force death on jimmy, they just enjoy the feeling they get of him dying first. My theory is that the watchers took Lizzie out of the games because they were proven wrong about her being ready. And the. Jimmy just died first as he usually did. (Another point that the watchers took her out is that then enderman that knocked her off wasn’t looked at, like there’s a chance but from when I was watching it didn’t seem that she looked at it.)

i think the chaos of the session was a result of the curse being broken. Jimmy was responsible from Lizzies red life, and when she died life had to go back to normal, aka killing the Canary. If he had died first less people would have died

I have seen drawings of Jimmy with the canary wings. Which at first I didn’t get at first. I didn’t know they were canary wings. I thought they look neat. Until someone mentioned the miner and the canary thing. And then I was like “Ohhhhhh now I get it! That’s why Jimmy has the canary wings!”

Out of context: I love how most of them have watched eyes around them but B just hides from them, looking uncomfortable, weird abt the whole situation.
The art and character design for this is so good! I love how Scott has those little crystals on his cheeks, and Lizzie has the fairy wings as earrings as well, and then the (antennae? Horns?) peeking up through Joel's hair and the visual of them adjusting with the frames. And I like how you made the "Joel loses his wife" series for a bit, but then Jimmy comes skipping up and what, did he do a twerk towards Joel? And the reaction image of Joel in the background. Like, dang Jimmy, be cold like that. And I absolutely loved Jimmy tapping his feet together while he was sitting on the ground next to Pearl. That part was so cute!
oh my gosh this was beautiful ;-; the whole thing was so emotional. you really took me on a ride with the quiet and tense beginning, joel's sad and almost desperate reaction to lizzie's death versus jimmy's joy at being alive (and especially how you make both of those emotions continue despite each other!), the dread and panic with the warden. i absolutely love how you force jimmy into a beautiful and serene setting after such an emotional rollercoaster. i also really love your character designs! canary tim always makes me smile but i want to shout out your scott, lizzie, and mumbo designs as well-all were lovely to look at, and felt very in-character for everyone :) speaking of being in-character, jimmy's hand-through-hair and his little spin later on were really satisfying details! spectacular work, thank you for sharing :D
I can not even express how perfect this is. I've never seen anyone draw and animate the death scenes with such intense emotion before, the static in the background while Lizzie is falling into it, looking at us with that horror in her eyes.. And the way Joel ran to her house and appeared in her window as he realized her house was empty? I got goosebumps, I could feel his worry and fear. You also animated Jimmys death in such a somehow gorgeous way, how he didn't even seem angry or sad at it, he just accepted it and was suddenly stranded in his beautiful warmth of this landscape. I've seen quite a few amazing animations of Hermitcraft and Secret Life scenes but yours was the first to actually invoke honest emotions that weren't just me being in awe of the artists skill! You probably didn't plan to make some parts purposely more unfinished than others, but I feel that it really seperates the fun bits from the actually important, serious ones really well. If I only knew the characters and not what happened in the Series then I'd still be able to figure out what was going on! Great job!!!

I still need to get around to watching secret life.. like when in was getting released I watched Lizzie’s pov but when she was trying to throw the party and no one came it broke my heart so much I spent the whole week being sad about it and never returned to secret life 😭
