      I, too, have MS, and am a yoga teacher. This was good... I i would just add the option of doing this from a chair, It can be difficult to get on/off the floor,. I have a channel, too. It’s not specifically yoga- its more about living with a disability, It’s called the adventures of gimpy girl- but not the girl with Crohn’s,

    I went back to this having followed you for several months. I was feeling a bit under the weather having walked a lot for two days (we were away for the weekend) and this was lovely again.

      It's always a good one to come back to. It's easier than the other videos but still very very efficient. When you do these little joint rotation, you stimulate your brain too!

      @@Tamingthewalrus I have muscle wasting and weakness of the limbs, particularly in my hands,and get all sorts of weird symptoms which I describe as itches, twitches, spasms and cramps! I’m trying hard to strengthen my legs at the moment which have weakened since I fell and broke my knee last year. Your videos have enabled me to restart my yoga practice because they are gentle and focus on the areas I have been concerned with e.g. stability and balance, flexibility and strength. I can’t thank you enough! X

      @@yvettemurphy448 hello. I will add some more. There are 5 already on this TH-cam channel. If you look for Pranayama for MS, you'll find them. There is Box or square breath to help focus; 4-7-8 to relax. alternate breathing for more balance, warrior for energy boost and breath of fire for warmth. Have a great day

  • @parthjoshi6753
    @parthjoshi6753 9 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Hey the techniques are so profound and simple but have great effects, I have a question , when a MS patient's body becomes numb either on the left side or the right side is there any specific set of excercise which can be done for a quick relief?(keeping in mind yoga is a slow but deep process nothing can be achieved quickly but some excercises can specifically help in those situations).

    • @parthjoshi6753
      @parthjoshi6753 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Veronique Gauthier Hey so nice to hear from you, it sounds perfect, have you already uploaded the sequence?One more question, can you tell me the place where you practiced the yoga for MS in India, it would be such a great help. Thank you so much Veronique.

    When I sit with my legs stretched for doing this warm up, I need to lean on, with my hands backwards for support, or need to lean the back on the wall. Is it OK if I lean my back while doing this??

    • @Tamingthewalrus
      @Tamingthewalrus  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry for the late reply. Yes it is ok to lean back if it helps. You can also try to sit a couple of blankets. If you sit higher, it might be easier. Let me know if it works.
