Hi, thanks for subbing me. I felt a great need to make the videos, as I too was in the same situation when I was looking for videos for this machine.. Originally I was thinking about the 1100, but my need for both upper and lower case letters was too great. Planning to do one on the stitch patterns, when I am less busy.
I look forward to watching them, I'm hoping you can make one on how to use the twin needles as well and how to alter the needle positions. I know it's in the manual, but to be honest, I'm a bit confused and apprehensive at the same time I'm scared i'll break something, that's why I prefer watching how it is done. Thanks again.
Hi Lyndell, I do not really know anything about the 1800 other than the fact that it is geared more towards quilting. It has all the functions of the 1300 plus a bit extra, i think it may come with a biggish sewing/quilting table. I have done quilting on my 1300 without any problems. When I was looking for a new machine I came across a comparison chart on the internet, which had the 1100, 1300 and the 1800. It was from this chart that I was able to make my choice to buy the 1300. Good luck.
Hi, the loud sound is completely normal, it happens with all computerised machines. It is just the machine adjusting itself. Look at it when you turn it on, the needle moves to the right and then back to the left, nothing to worry about.
@@Nittyb123 Thank you , my dear. I really hope that it's normal. But I remember when it was brand new it was making such a beautiful computer sound and that's what attract me to this computerized machines .... I don't know, ... let's just hope that it's nothing serious.
