    one of the smoothest players to ever step on an NBA court, but I'm biased in my opinion since I'm a lifelong Knicks fan!!!!! Always loved the Knicks-Bullets rivalry. Loved those Bullets uniforms. Always thought they were so cool!!!!!

    Walt was smooth! He and Earl the Pearl made up one of the all-time great NBA back courts.

    He would have an elite guard in any era. He could shoot it, pass it, defend anyone, rebound, and hits all of his free throws.

    The great Walt Frazier (greatest Knick even over Pat Ewing) Is a pleasure to see covered, together with Willis, mad respect.

    As a fan of the Knickerbockers, thanks for this! It's not often that I can find footage of the greatest Knick.

    Prime Walt Frazier, such a great and extremely complete point-guard. Thanks for this, also love to watch those Knicks play, certainly one of the best squads ever. As of right now, Clyde is top5 on my all-time GOAT PG list.

    Lol. I was at this game as a 14-year-old. I remember after the game, me and my boys went to the locker area where the players come out. Frazier had on a full-length fur coat! There was a beautiful woman there also and it looked like she had nothing on under her coat! Contrary to Frazier, "Dollar" Bill Bradley had a trench coat.

    What would the NBA be right now without the 3 point line???
    It would be interesting to see how the game would play without it today

    THERE MUST BE 10 HOF PLAYERS HERE, Jerry Lucas, Walt Frazier, Earl Monroe, Dave Debusschere, Phil Jackson, Bill Bradley, Willis Reed, that’s just the Knicks. Yes, I know Phil did not make the HOF as s player.They were as stacked as the ‘60s Celtics. Bullets had Wes Unseld, Elvin Hayes, my homie Phil Chenier as an All Star but not HOF.

    they only dribble with one hand. they can't play in todays nba... not even close

    • @WiltChamberlainArchive
      @WiltChamberlainArchive  6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Keith, did you watch John Stockton? Magic Johnson? Allen Iverson? - They Dribbled with their left hand even LESS than Frazier as do many NBA players even to this day. They hide it, by only going to one side.

    • @keithsweeting190
      @keithsweeting190 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah I watched them, and if you watch Kyrie Irving, Chris Paul, Steph Curry, John Wall, Harden, Kemba, DLO.. ETC.. All of the elite guards in the league have the ball on a string with an extremely tight handle, watch any highlight and they can go left right and finish with both hands. If you think the talent level is remotely the same you are being delusional

    • @keithsweeting190
      @keithsweeting190 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      magic Johnson still the greatest pg of all time but im talking in overall skill of the nba players, the talent level is not the same.

    • @WiltChamberlainArchive
      @WiltChamberlainArchive  6 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      They can also carry the ball. And do so liberally. That helps go either direction. I think Clyde Frazier, Stockton, Magic, Iverson etc are the same talent level, I think he, and even they played under different rules even though Iverson is largely responsible for the slack ball handling rules these modern guys play under. The rules changed, those guys are all-time talents that could play exceptionally well.

    • @radar0412

      Just as this current Era of basketball, the 70's was a weak Era for the NBA. Also players back then didn't play basketball 365 days a year to refine their skills. Clyde would be an ELITE player in todays game. Clyde in the 80's with Magic, Bird, Isiah, and Michael? It would have been tough for him.
