    Thank you this worked on my old office chair!

    For those small parts, sometimes putting the palm of your other hand right behind it will help the auto focus. Thank you for the video!

      Hey I appreciate the advice! I'll watch for that next time. Also, the Rebel t3i I was using doesn't have continues auto focus (didn't know that at the time) so I moved to a t7i that does. Still a great tip and I'll pay attention to it. Thanks for checking me out!

    Your chair resembled mine the most so I followed this vid and it worked. Thank you! My parts were also really crusty.

    Very well 👍 done liked.. Qs. Will silicone spray do better than regular grease for lubricating a revolving chair and also for squeaks?
    Just wanted a quick fix and I have those 2 lying around and not inclined in buying something else. Thanks.

    it's all cause we sit to much on it and put so much weight on it as we'll so either the bolts are coming out cause of it or we need to put lube on it.

    Does WD40 work on it?

    • @thetireddadtech3827
      @thetireddadtech3827  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question! It might work. However WD-40 is more of an all around lubricant as well as rust remover/repellent and cleaner. Lithium grease is just a lubricant.

    • @andywright2606
      @andywright2606 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, Eric WD40 will break down the grease, so if you're doing this job, pull it apart, clean thoroughly with WD40, dry it up, and then add your grease. I did it to mine, which was crunching and grinding like crazy. Turned out the large rubber bush that goes on first was mangled and useless. So, I cut a new one out of some old rubber I had in the shed, drilled a hole to slide it on, and applied liberal amounts of grease to reassemble. Now it's as quiet as a new one. Great video, Tired Dad. Thanks, mate. 👍

  • @josephknightcom
    @josephknightcom 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Out of focus. Distant shot (why do we need the rest of the room in the shot?). Bad angle: you're standing if front of the camera far too often. Just take a second and think about our point of view. Do a quick test shot and review the footage before beginning; it only takes 2 minutes. Good luck.
