- It’s a race to the Hungaroring for John and Piers in the latest Traxion.GG Euro Truck Simulator 2 challenge, as they’ve been tasked with making their way from Silverstone to the next round of the Formula 1 World Championship.
To make things even harder, they’ve been plopped into a random European location without their GPS navigation systems to help. However, taskmaster Oasley has gifted the pair with a compass; one with reversed polarity, helpfully, which the pair don’t know about yet...
With John in a bright red Scuderia Ferrari lorry and Piers representing McLaren, it’s a race to the last parking spot in Budapest, but they still have forfeits to contend with.
For each piece of contact or rule-breaking the two perpetrate they must roll a 12-sided dice to determine their fate. Some forfeits are bad and some are good, but none of them will help Piers escape the quarry he gets stuck in for the first 15 minutes of the challenge...
Will John or Piers taste victory in Hungary, or will they both end up in the middle of nowhere? Find out in part one of what we’ve billed as the most difficult challenge in Euro Truck Simulator 2.

As a ETS2 player it triggers me how bad they are at European geography and how long it took them to get out of the company, like it's not that hard😅
In fairness they're not using maps I've been playing ets2 on and off for years and istill can't work put heads from tails in most places lol and alot of those quarries are minefields. Even with the maps I get lost sometimes lol

As a ETS2 player and a ETS2 company owner, it’s fascinating how new players play the game and how people that Live on ets2 how much they have changed by skill and knowledge.

This is exactly what happened.
It is a shame that F1 tracks are not included in the ETS2 map . But, I guess the reason is, is the the governing body of F1 would want millions for the license!

What DLC pack adds the cats? I can only see mods for it and i know that Multiplayer does not support mods. So... How do you have the cat?
multiplayer supports mods
The official scs multiplayer support mods - you host your own server up to 8 players - they all must have same mods as the host to join. - it's the " convoy " option in the menu.
TruckersMP multiplayer doesn't support mods - up to +4000 players - but its a separated game mode
The mod is "Farsel's Cab Cats", available on the workshop
A Truck Driver for Ferrari but he's driving in a Mercedes. I know we need equal trucks but this sounds like blasphemy 😅

So, both of these lads sound very british right?
Yet, basic European knowledge that Prag is the Capital of Czechia and thus east of germany, exactly the way they need to go (theres direct Highway from Prag via Brno to Budapest).
Is it just that I'm both east german (Living in Dresden currently😅) and excell at map knowledge or is it usual for many humans to not be good in geography...
Like, shouldn't almost every European at least know every European country, their location and it's capitol?
Or is it me who misunderstands advanced general education as basic knowledge?
