Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are 😂). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm - it probably is.
How do I ask a dinner time question? Leave a comment on any video and let us know it’s supposed to be answered at dinner time. We’re always looking for new questions (even if the next cruise we can answer it on is a long long way out).
Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: creative.rccl..... To each their own on this pronunciation!
When and how did you meet? We met in February of 2020 via a dating app. We answer this question in more detail in our Independence of the Seas Day 2 (Swimming with Pigs) video.

Looks like a nice water park but both Atlantis and Baja Bay charge way too much. As for the cruise companies, Celebrity is a higher level more classic cruise ship. Remind me more of Holland America. There are definitely less options onboard for entertainment purely because they are older smaller ships. Your may prefer Beyond, Ascent, etc, because they are a lot different based on what I hear. We will be going on two Celebrity cruises in the next 18 months, and a Carnival cruise before that. I am sure they will be a lot different but excited about all 3, especially the destinations we are going to on Celebrity.

I booked this on my upcomming Royal Caribbean cruise in august. i cant wait.
I was just looking at this excursion for our cruise next May on Freedom (first cruise ever!). My kids really want to go to Atlantis after I showed them Mary-Kate & Ashley going there in Holiday in the Sun, and honestly, same lol. But Baha Bay looks like it might be the winner!

Kerry, I love your outfits, especially your swimsuits! You need to do a packing video! And someday, Brian, we need to see your Starbucks cup collection! I'm so utterly disappointed that Celebrity doesn't have any Gus'es!! We sail July 2024 on the Reflection, our first time not on an Oasis class ship. Your commentary on Celebrity makes me worried that we're going to be disappointed that we didn't sail on an Edge class ship.

Looks awesome! You have access to the beach as well as the chairs and umbrella included in the excursion, correct?
Ive heard on resort for a day reviews that there is no beach access for day pass users. Were you two able to use the beach? Or is there only a certain part of the beach that you are allowed to use on day pass? Thanks!
It really depends on the cruise line so make sure to read the small print. But ive heard how u have even less time than usual bc u are doing a bus with tons of other ppl (on both ends) plus u have to eat whete they tell u with likited options. Ive learned i can just get day pass on my own and do a $20 cab and have control over my times. I go next March with my kiddo for spring break, siked!

You couldn’t tell this cruise was your “worst” cruise by the content of your videos and I think that proves how well you represent the cruising experience to us (especially new cruisers like me). Do you have a video going to Atlantis? We are going on royal in a week and don’t know what to do in Nassau?? We have teens and have never been to the Bahamas. What would your suggestion be to get the most for our money. We don’t have to do an excursion, can get to a place on our own too. Thanks!

Have you guys sailed on a Royal ship with the new MDR menu yet? I'm curious what y'all think of it as younger cruisers. My wife and Ioved the menu but we don't really care about unlimited lobster.

LOL. My wife took our family on our first family cruise, it was my first. She got us on Allure of the Seas for a 7 night cruise. You nailed it with that recommendation. It was an absolute blast, food was fantastic, the variety of what was available made it really enjoyable. I can't wait to go cruising again. Thanks for the videos!
My first cruise was five nights on Mariner of the Seas, and I fell in love with cruising. My next cruise is to Alaska in May-June. Dinner Question: What do you recommend doing in Seattle prior to embarkation?
I took my husband on his first cruise on Allure of the Seas, in January….it was a 4 night/5 day cruise out of Galveston and he’s “hooked”! How can anyone not love cruising? Sooooo relaxing and fun! I went to Baha Mar on a tour not the water park. It’s a beautiful place I’d come to Nassau just to stay there.
Do they allow you beach access with an excursion pass? I saw on the site that it says no access to beach club. Not sure

Wow this waterpark looks even nicer than Atlantis! No lines, nice and new, AND free lunch?! Sign us up. We also gasped when we saw that their Starbucks had the holiday turkey sandwich, we were big fans of the holiday turkey and stuffing panini that was discontinued a few years ago. Donnie was holding his breath when waiting for the verdict of the chicken parm being compared to the one at Palo. Thanks for another great vlog, we can’t wait until the next series. If Royal hires us as their full time official vloggers we would probably be up for it haha. but doing it full time on our own would probably require more subscribers than it’s possible for us to get. We would probably never change the format

For water we use the GoPro Hero9. We like it but as soon as it gets wet the mic really sounds bad
