Have stayed in several of these Royal Suites on RCI. They are truly amazing. What is even better, is the service that is provided when you show your key or say "I'm in the Royal..." Things happen. We were even escorted off the ship at debarkation by senior staff, all the way to our waiting curbside transportation. Along the way, the porter kept asking, "Who are you two??" We just smiled.
This is awesome. Great job planning ahead. There is no one I would rather see enjoy the Royal suite than you both. If it isn't your best video, it is up there.
Your reactions remind me of the first and only time we had a grand suite, and only from using all our cruise credit from all the cancelled cruises during the pandemic, we hope one day we will get to be in the Royal suite, I better go buy a lottery ticket 😂

I tell people that once you get below Port St. Lucie, you can drive just about anywhere with your head lights off. There are so many street lights in Palm Beach, Broward and Dade county's. Not that you should drive with your lights off. It's just that bright. Great job on the video. I'm looking to go on one very soon. 👍👍

It's called Studio B, because it is a Television Studio. Along with the ice floor, there is a sliding floor that covers the ice. The original intent of the TV Studio was to hold game shows in there and broadcast them ship wide. However, it's been years since they have done that. The last time I remember seeing one broadcast was in 2007.
We got the same kind of deal during covid and got the ultimate panoramic suite on oasis. It was an awesome experience glad you got to enjoy that fun room.

Star Class (and Sky Class) cabins are WELL worth the added expense. The value of the added amenities is actually pretty incredible. Even just the priority boarding and departure is worth it. Also, in Sky Class rooms you get included specialty dining, deluxe drinks package, and unlimited internet. With two people that's close to $1000 saved. With Royal Genie you can also have specialty dining delivered to your room which is awesome. No more waiting in line for Pizza after Windjammer is closed and the restaurants are booked up.
If you haven’t already, try Star Class on Oasis, Quantum (and maybe Icon) class ships. The Royal Genie will make for an unforgettable experience. I know it sounds corny but it truly is freakin’ amazing!
**Easy way I remember port and starboard on a ship is** Long letter words and short letter words go together. Red-left-port (all short words) Green-right-starboard (all longer words)

Book a park and go hotel. You can drive and leave your car for the duration of the cruise. They also have a transport van to take you to the port. We live on the west coast of FL and do this for our cruises. We stay the night before we sail. Great cabin...suite. Your butler would unpack for you too.
We’re going to be on this ship next May (thanks for the tour!) ..for nine nights from New Jersey (Bermuda, San Juan, St Maarten and Labadee)…really wish I could’ve afforded THIS but got a really nice deal on an accessible Spacious Oceanview Balcony (which is a still pretty big 560 sq ft)
