Respect for the effort. I would like to add for the people to know, that there is a trait called Fanning with which you can shoot revolvers (and only revolvers) rapidly in hip-fire mode, like a gunslinger. It's best used with the "chain-pistol" due to its multiple bullets.

I would add revolver mechanic, when you pull out revovler and cock it, decock it and return it into your holster, you skip the chamber, so with half full revolver you can hit empty chamber after pulling the gun. With this mechanic you are forced to have full revover at all times.
It won´t be in there too often. At the cost it´s currently at you need multiple perfect runs just to afford it once. Imagine playing multiple matches jsut to afford this gun and then when you finally have it you get headshot from an ambush without firing it once... Can´t imagine too many people willing to put up with that pressure. Also it seems to be pretty shit on long range engagments because of the recoil.
The thing being is that you can still use it for long range. The full auto is an option and not required for its use. It looks useful for if you run into someone close quarters
As someone who comes from deep eastern Texas (like right on the Louisiana border) the terrain is very much like real life and I love how this is really the first game to use this sort of biome fully
You level Your profile rank, which grants You access to better weapons and stuff in the shop and this rank can't drop. Then You need to recruit hunters, which You can level too, so they can use different perks and upgrade their HP and stuff. You also have a storage, in which You can store Your stuff, even multiple weapons of the same time and this stuff is always safe as long as it's in the storage. Now You equip Your hunter and if he dies ingame, the equipment he had + the hunter himself is gone.
1. I would love to see guns use real calibres instead of "compact bullets". Ammo you find turns into ammo required for your gun. 2. In the video break action single shot shotty does not have an extractor and requires manually extraction, but in present game, shells pop out automatically. They tweak it?
OMG I new I wanted this game sometime but after seeing this I almost went ahead and bought it... Love the slow reload times cuz you can see the care the developers have put in every single frame of the animation.
That's a Huot Autpmatic Rifle. Not a Mosin-Nagant. And it has a capacity of 25 rounds in its drum rather than 20 in-game. You can see it in Hunt: Showdown Wikia for details. Particularly the Forgotten Weapons link in there.
Sadly they nerfed the knuckles ;D Now You need 2 charged hits to the head to kill a zombie. So, there's no need to use them anymore, since You can still one-hit them with knife.
Some reloads are wrong. The vetterli is loaded by single bullets or clips on top of the reciver. In The c96 mauser if you don't stop the charging handle while you put single bullets in the the fixed magazine the charging handle would likely fly on your thumb causing pain or the lost of the finger.

Do you know if there is any video that compares their actual oneshot kill range and their spread? Because ot seems to me when firing at a wall from about 4 meters away the whole wall gets plastered with hits. The spread seems to be tremendous.
Most of the spread is absurd, although you only need to be within 10m or so to guarantee a kill on an uncovered target with most of the shotguns besides the sawn off barrels. Those things are trash outside melee range.
I knew somebody would meantion that. I mean is it really possible to eject it without the knuckleduster? In Battlefield 1 the player sometimes uses the knuck and sometimes is own finger to ejecct it.. Is it really posible?
I hope the will add the Mannlicher-Straightpull Rifle M1895 or better its predecessor the M1886 which fired a black powder cartridge! And maybe the German Gewehr 88? Or some Prototype Weapons would also be cool, for example the Madsen-Rasmussen M1888 which was the first semi-automatic rifle in military service! Yeah i really like old firearms :-)
Daniel Do They're attracted to the noise. Crows, chickens, dying horses, gunshots, fuses, breaking glass, etc, all lure in basic zombies, but not the more advanced ones like Amors and Meatheads.
All the dynamite's explosions are the same, regardless of how many sticks are there in a bundle. But all in all, looking forward to playing this when this comes out.

should have done body shots to also see how powerful it is for example, the LRR one shots the body at most distances and the Mosin doesn't. Just cool to see along with all the guns sounds and animations.
Hmm...i guess my fav primary is "Winfield M1873 Talon" because it has alot rounds before you have to reload every bullet at a single time and a big melee attack that can kill zombies or enemy's in one hit.....so that's my favorite primary. And my favorite secondary (pistol or revolver) is the chain gun revolver cause it has alot of rounds and it does quite a bit of damage. and my favorite melee is the machete i guess.
StokieMokie But why though? All those guns are from the 19th century, there's no reason to change the names, except for some of them until the devs get the licenses. (Winchester, Remington, etc.).

In the front of each chamber there is a very very small gnome inside and tapping the chamber with the thumb is the sign for the gnome to push out the empty round.
But yea, I was wondering how he ejects the empty rounds too. Seems they didn't come up with a good solution and just used that weird thumbs pushing chamber animation.

MAN I wish that's how the weapons in a WWII game were! Or a wild west game or somethin! They look and feel great! With weight to them and some serious recoil!

Yap yongliang well to be fair he did just headshot them when theyre standing still, which results in an instant kill most of the time.

That's a Huot Autpmatic Rifle. Not a Mosin-Nagant. And it has a capacity of 25 rounds in its drum rather than 20 in-game. You can see it in Hunt: Showdown Wikia for details. Particularly the Forgotten Weapons link in there.

Sadly they nerfed the knuckles ;D Now You need 2 charged hits to the head to kill a zombie. So, there's no need to use them anymore, since You can still one-hit them with knife.

Some reloads are wrong. The vetterli is loaded by single bullets or clips on top of the reciver. In The c96 mauser if you don't stop the charging handle while you put single bullets in the the fixed magazine the charging handle would likely fly on your thumb causing pain or the lost of the finger.

Do you know if there is any video that compares their actual oneshot kill range and their spread? Because ot seems to me when firing at a wall from about 4 meters away the whole wall gets plastered with hits. The spread seems to be tremendous.
Most of the spread is absurd, although you only need to be within 10m or so to guarantee a kill on an uncovered target with most of the shotguns besides the sawn off barrels. Those things are trash outside melee range.
3:30 - this animation defeats the whole purpose of having a knuckleduster on the gun.
I knew somebody would meantion that. I mean is it really possible to eject it without the knuckleduster? In Battlefield 1 the player sometimes uses the knuck and sometimes is own finger to ejecct it.. Is it really posible?

I hope the will add the Mannlicher-Straightpull Rifle M1895 or better its predecessor the M1886 which fired a black powder cartridge! And maybe the German Gewehr 88? Or some Prototype Weapons would also be cool, for example the Madsen-Rasmussen M1888 which was the first semi-automatic rifle in military service! Yeah i really like old firearms :-)

Daniel Do They're attracted to the noise. Crows, chickens, dying horses, gunshots, fuses, breaking glass, etc, all lure in basic zombies, but not the more advanced ones like Amors and Meatheads.
All the dynamite's explosions are the same, regardless of how many sticks are there in a bundle. But all in all, looking forward to playing this when this comes out.

I agree! It's slow and methodical, plus with the Bloodborne-ish atmosphere, it makes combat quite tense even against the AI.
@@Omuraisu0 more like realistic, usually in games you get 3 or less second long reloading animations, like the character has super speed, or summons bullets out of nowhere.

should have done body shots to also see how powerful it is for example, the LRR one shots the body at most distances and the Mosin doesn't. Just cool to see along with all the guns sounds and animations.

Hmm...i guess my fav primary is "Winfield M1873 Talon" because it has alot rounds before you have to reload every bullet at a single time and a big melee attack that can kill zombies or enemy's in one hit.....so that's my favorite primary. And my favorite secondary (pistol or revolver) is the chain gun revolver cause it has alot of rounds and it does quite a bit of damage. and my favorite melee is the machete i guess.
so when or where is this game's setting? is it western or a dark steampunk universe with weapons from the wild west and ww1?

Winchester and Sharps still hold license and create those guns...

How does he eject the rounds out of the revolver cylinder
In the front of each chamber there is a very very small gnome inside and tapping the chamber with the thumb is the sign for the gnome to push out the empty round.

StokieMokie well if they are in fact conversions of cap and ball revolvers you could just take the whole cylinder out and put another in same with the Nagant revolver
