    Very good and precise explanation. Appreciate your great effort.
    One observation though.
    Normally I have seen unloader solenoids are normally close types. Means the plunger will be pushed down normally if there is no electric signal so that unloader itself is always kept in open position while starting and stopping no matter if there is electric signal or not.

    In the normal condition, the pin holes connected to the cooler drain are in open condition right?, And when the solenoid valve is activated, the pressure imbalance and 2 valves lift and releases the LP,HP side air pressure.
    If the pin holes connected to the cooler drain are in open condition ,then also LP and HP air pressures will drain right since both cooler drains(O1,O2) and X,Y connected to air side/pipe ( Correct me if i am wrong ). Then why there is seperate valves for X and Y ?

    Sir from the video , the air is drained in both the case ie during the solenoid valves actuation and also when it is not actuated , so to run the compressor so to actually compress air we need to disconnect the unloader??

    • @CLASS4ORALS
      @CLASS4ORALS  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, during operation of Unloader initially for 10 sec, or after 20 min for 10 sec, now unloader needs to be deactivated. the Compressor is now under Compression mode.
      Hence unloader is not actuated that time of general compression.
      Also very tiny amount of air/water from Intercooler and aftercooler keeps on draining via Unloader, through the machined bore,(even if Unloader is not operational)
      that draining is not going to affect the performance of compression much.

    How come air pressure of 5bar(X) and 30bar(Y) is available to unloader during STARTING of compressor is??
    If the compressor is not running, pressure would be zero only to unloader, isn't it?

    • @CLASS4ORALS
      @CLASS4ORALS  ปีที่แล้ว

      Before starting, the pressure starts to build up, that time 5 bar and 30 bar production will act on unloader

  • @r.f.generao5271
    @r.f.generao5271 ปีที่แล้ว

    Sorry sir, what kind or what model of unloader you are describing in this video? In my experience, the unloading process works only when the solenoid valve was not energized. It is during starting, every 15 mins of continuous running and while the compressor is not running or stop. While the compressor is running in normal operation, the solenoid valve was constantly energized and it pushes down the pilot valve to cover the tiny hole or opening as you describe. As the tiny openings are closed, the pilot air coming from first stage pushes and close the L.P. valve and pilot air from second stage closes the H.P. valve, Those were trapped and not continuously going to atmosphere to hold the valves in closed position. When the solenoid vave was not energized during unloading process. the pilot valve was push back by the spring to open the tiny opening. This tiny openings when open was use as a passage by the air closing the L.P. valve. When this air scapes, the L.P. Valve and H.P. Valve can now push upward by the drain coming form first and second stage. And then the valves are open for unloading process.

    • @CLASS4ORALS
      @CLASS4ORALS  ปีที่แล้ว

      This is not a particular model or maker Unloader. This is what being taught to mt Seniors and in Academy. You r right the tiny holes are mostly trapped and not leaking to atmosphere, but some models do not completely trap holes..
      Good observation 👍

    if the air taken at x is after the intercooler how is the pressure in the compressor unloaded?

  • @Surendhar2002
    @Surendhar2002 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Sir you said that unloader releases drain and the compressed air. Unloader is keep on releasing air or drain continuosly then how compression takes place.

    • @CLASS4ORALS
      @CLASS4ORALS  ปีที่แล้ว

      The air and drain release quantity is infinitesimally small and negligible. CONSIDER it Next to NIL So it has no Major effect on Unloader operation.

    Just one correction, when the plungers are closing the orifices, the pressure above the LP and HP pistons are not 0 bar. They are at atmospheric pressure, which is almost equal to 1 bar.

    • @CLASS4ORALS
      @CLASS4ORALS  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can see the low pressure on HP and LP gauge initially, if you see this and rising after 10 15 sec, then ur unloader is working good..if not, it is faulty

  • @alokraj4179
    @alokraj4179 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Why after every 20 minutes unloaded works for 10-15 seconds?

    • @CLASS4ORALS
      @CLASS4ORALS  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because it is necessary for removal of any moisture accumulation in the compression chamber and in Intercooler and Aftercooler Drain, else it may cause difficulty in Effective compression.
      Also risk of failure bcs Moisture and water is imcompressible.
      Hence depending on maker, on an avg there is 10 seconds of unloading every 20 minutes of compression.
