    Love a powerful light for my bike but I would love it if such lights came with a compact tumb type switch you could mount close to you grips so when coming up to other riders or walkers in the other direction you could tap it on the go to lower the beams strength so you are not blinding everyone. Same for on road use. I like full power so you can spot road hazards far away and even dodgy people lurking in the shadows but then you blind any cars coming towards you.

    Try a novsight $40 USD. Wider beam than this
    External battery though.
    I have mine below the stem on the spacer area.

      Been looking at the novsight how is it ? Are you able to bring it up or down ? Or is it at a fixed angle ?

      @PghMtbRides 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GhettoSuguru it's a GoPro mount Style ,so can aim light any level you desire..
      Just keep the battery unplugged with not in use.( Their new internal light is eh..bright but narrow)
      For about 10 dollars more,you can get a slightly better better beam.via like called InFunn 2200

    Love the light but I don't see the point of the left and right only light.. cant figure out when you would want to use just the L/R light lol

    Just bought this, great light! Actually, it has four power settings within each mode! Not sure, but you might have missed the strongest one while out riding. 😄

      @@YUTfan2 Sorry for late answer - i using magicshine light since 2010-2012 (?) i don't remember exactly when i bought this.
      My model is with remote and external battery.
      This light survive lot of dusty/muddy trails (in pouring rain as well)...
      After these years light break down this winter... but not as a unit, just problem is with cable to external battery.
      Original battery last about 5-6 years and start loosing capacity after.
      I bought cheap replacement and again lifespan was identical.
      Now, is no point to repair this light because i need new battery and new cable (cable need to be cut and solder, and propably loose its waterproofness) so i planning to buy another Magicshine light in this season.

    This is Taylor, a marketer from WUBEN, we will pre-launch our professional bike light, its maximum at 3600 Lumens and continuous at 2000 Lumens, that good for night riding. So we want more people who enjoy riding to test and review it. If you have interest can email me at taylor@wubenlight.com, we can discuss more. I am very sorry if I disturb you!

      @Magicshine USA The running times are very short, nobody needs so many modes.
      Using just the DRL the Allty1000 has twice the performance.
      Would you put the Allty 2000 as a favorite?

    2000 lumens is low power on a mtb light. Bright is in the 4K-6k lumens.

      @MillennialReview  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      lol ok.

    • @PghMtbRides
      @PghMtbRides 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Not really, also beam pattern is way more important than total lumen..more so when most lights at max lumens doesn't last long before it bumps down to a lower level.
      I'll take 1600 peripheral spread lumen beam over a 3k narrow beam

    hi. i came here from your left and right button fix for a dell latitude 7240 i think it was. anyway i have a dell latitude e7470 and i use blu tac as a camera cover and when i opened my lid it pulled my richt click button out. it still works but i have to press the actual white part which is under the part you press. is there any way to fix it without taking it apart? thanks in advance.
