That’s just the best feeling. Knocking the dust off an old sad bike and bringing her back to life. That tank looks like it’s never had a drop of ethanol in it.
That's because the carburetors not made out of a bunch of plastic garbage pieces. Those old bikes are built tough I wasn't surprised that fired up. I used to work on those old 70s and 80s bikes.Id keep it
Fair enough as long as it’s still on the road, I had 2 of the back in the late 70’s and on reflection was my favourite bike, i now have a running 185 again, only 81 left in the UK!
That's handy to know 81 left in UK. I've a 1974 American import 185 I've had for about 5 yrs with all the registration paperwork, but as yet unregistered in the UK.. Alex.
Can anyone help me, i had gt 185 the oil injection work fine but its keep getting weird noise from the enggine after 3 months using it, sorry for bad engglish
You could find a used one on eBay or just disconnect it and mix your own gas and oil because once the oil injection breaks you're going to blow the engine up

If it was mine I would restore it. But I'm a serial bike collector and restorer. I have a DT3 250 Enduro from 1972 and a 1973 CB360 in my collection.
I used to have a Kawasaki 750 triple I should have kept it 2 stroke
Keep it!
I sold it to a guy who's going to fix it up I didn't feel like it
I can't believe you started that up of old gas in it and still fired up. Put some new gas in it probably run perfect
The carburetors are empty all the gas evaporated after sitting for 36 years
Cool are you going to fix it up
nope, lol
nope,lol
@@TheOriginalAndysGarage come on andy I want to see videos of you fixing that bike up
I just bought at the flip it I don't have any paperwork for it I'm not going through that headache of time to get paperwork

Usually 50 to 1, it'll tell you on the bottle
You'll have to get new tires though even though they look good guarantee they're cracked.
Yeah the tires are garbage, I'm not driving it,
