Removing the seeds from the pepinos 🥒 also helps you not burp after eating them, a lot of people say they don’t like 🥒 because they burp a lot, the seeds are the reason why.
Very nicely executed Jenny! Dang last time I had aguachile was at the fish market in Redondo Beach. Your recipe looks to be the same ingredients. I can't wait to try making this.
I found you on tik tok and I’m glad I did!! I’ve made several of your recipes and I love them. Especially b/cuz we cook very similar but I just figured it out-your family is from GDL Jalisco!! Blessings to you Jenny. You’re BEAUTIFUL!!
i totally agree on dumping out that pre lemon soak juice you used to “cook” those shrimp! sorta like yuck haha especially since it’s cold. if it was cooked i’m sure it would be fine
I started following you on here as I love your TikTok. Por favor comparte tu receta de ceviche!! I’m on a kick this summer and would love to learn how to make it.
Theres so many Mexican sayings when it comes to food. Ive heard the seed gives you heartburn. And ive also heard it makes you burp. Now its that it makes it go bad quicker. Idk who/what to believe 😭😂
No, the lime juice and salt actually cooks the shrimp so if you leave the shrimp sitting for a while in the lime juice it will turn pink… (won’t be raw once you eat it)
Next time by yourself some shrimp that's deveined already!! I think that will help you save some time.. Also true if you don't want to be cleaning your seeds out use English cucumbers they're a lot bigger and they have hardly no seeds. His food for thought!! A little tip for you keep a separate ball on the side so you can discard all your trimmings instead of leaving them on your board and taking up all your cutting space.
Lol have you ever tried cutting the pepino aka cucumber without doing the salt rubbing situation? I definitely think that’s a Mexican thing (just from watching multiple videos of ceviche and aguachiles) NEVER in my life have I seen anyone else do that (myself and family included) lol the only time I’ve seen it was tonight while watching specific Mexican recipes. I’m curious if you have tried it otherwise. Break the tradition or at least try it to see if it is legit or not lol
Hi Jenny , thanks for the great recipes and tips we enjoy your channel but have one thing to ask of you ,we asked of you please don't throw food around ,it's distasteful in every way , thank you.
punto muy importante los camarones deven de ser frescos noooooo descongelados o muy viejos, el camaron fresco no huele a marisco , ,frescos tienen consistencia durita , ya secongelados quedan aguadosss
“BEAUTIFUL” I love her lol
This lady has taught me how to cook, thank you !!
I can’t wait to make this. My Husband is always watching older Mexican women cook, getting ideas &twinkling recipes. How beautiful
Me too I like watching elderly women from Mexico 🇲🇽 👌 the reason why because they have more experience in cooking .😊

So the shrimp you don’t need to boil it or anything right ?
No, the lime juice and salt actually cooks the shrimp so if you leave the shrimp sitting for a while in the lime juice it will turn pink… (won’t be raw once you eat it)
After that stimulus check go deposited lol I’m making this!!! Yum 😋 P.S. I love all your recipes!!! God bless! ❤️
Love you’re channel, can you please share how you do the shrimp cocktail?

Jenny Martinez can you put knor in it instead of salt?!
Going to make this today 😭
You’re the best!!!
Next time by yourself some shrimp that's deveined already!! I think that will help you save some time..

OMG it looks so good ! Se me hace agua la boca🤤 Can you do the ceviche de camarón with salsa de pepino please, I want to try it🤤🤤
This came our super acidic. Is it because I used regular limes? Are the smaller ones not as acidic?
Add salt and pepper
And possibly more serranos
Donuts fine to eat the shrimp even if In the core of the shrimp is still transparent like raw looking ?
Looks so good 😍 is it super spicy with all of the chile serranos??
I've done that cucumber trick but never heard of using salt too.
😋
AAAA what you just throw at me ********* lol ok start this wonderful video ....................
You can also buy the shrimp cleaned and deveined
YUMMY!!! My question is, “What Is Your Favorite Wine?”
Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon! ❤️
Que delicia 🙌🏽 thank you!
How do you make it really spicy? My boyfriend likes everything super spicy and I put a lot of serranos last time and it wasn’t even spicy.
add habanero🤙🏻
As soon as you said I saw it on tiktok a stopped watching this😂
😋😋
😍😍😍🎉
Lemon juice cooks shrimp??
amy hammonds yes the acid in the lemon cooks the shrimp 🍤
@@Blessedw3Boys that's AMAZING! I had no idea. I wish I was more knowledgeable about cooking.
amy hammonds I didn’t know that either until my hubby explained it to me lol
Can you make this with aguacate?? Please please please
Is this super spicy? Looks like it lol I’m scared. I may do it and remove most of the seeds
👍🏼
Looks good! Am I the only one that washes the onions after they're peeled?
How spicy is it? I have a household member who's not a big fan of spiciness!
Yep te sigo por tu jefe
Delicioso 😋

Really 2 hours? U don’t know how to really do aguachile. If it takes you that long.
Hello my tiktok friend ...
I just rub the ends with no salt and it still works..
Those are limes!
You forgot the chicken bouillon
I want a wife like this

So disrespectful throwing food in our face 🤬
