Informative as always. Just wondering; does the flatpak version of mangohud follow your system config? If so, how did you do it? Also, where does the flatpak version store the csv files?
@@MumblingHugo Sorry; I meant the config stored in ~/.config/MANGOHUD. So, basically your own mangohud config in your home folder. Even if you don't use a custom configuration, did you need to give permissions to the flatpak package for mangohud to write in your home directory? Because by default flatpaks can only write in the .var directory of the home folder.
And that's why I'm not using Linux as my main system, i love my games and i love the look and feel of windows the issue is that sometimes i experience some lags and also I can't use the power of commands fully in windows so i installed Linux in a separate partition and I've had plenty like a lot of issues varying during installation or when trying to install a certain game or a program using bottles or wine (like pop , regata And some others) , so i switched to a more stable Linux debian distribution and I'm not gonna say it's perfect but it's ok i don't rage too much now 😂, so what i concluded from my experience windows has a bigger hand what it comes to stability, games, graphics and so much more , however you definitely need a stable Linux distro on your hardware ready to blast some commands and do some backend development or any type of work that doesn't need so much power or any powerful graphics.
Yeah, I agree with you that windows is better for gaming, it is a universal fact. I almost switched to windows when trying to play last epoch with my friends recently until I figured it out for Linux. And this is just a channel to have fun with Linux, windows is rarely in my consideration for content yet. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts
Hello hello, thanks for the support, I just checked your channel, you used way less time to reach more subs, I can see why, you have more quality content than me. good job!
I appreciate that you're installing on a real computer rather than a virtual machine. Thank you!
Yeah people don't do that much (excluding me)
Thank you, glad you guys like it
Funny how hard it is to find in the first place 😂😂😂
Great vid!
I tried RegataOS months ago and had issues, glad some are fixed. Probably wont come back to it, I am enjoying using Debian.
I like your content a lot brother
Thank you

Thanks for watching. The csv files are default to save at home folder no matter it’s native or flatpak, what do you mean by following system config?

@@MumblingHugo Thank you! I just try to make videos that will reach more people, that is the trick. I haven't even heard of RegataOS until now, so...
audio is much better on this one.
Thanks for the quality check, I’ll keep the setting with this
